I only realized. just now. that silly Tobi and Obito have the same voice actor? I thought they changed? for some reason. I thought he had three different adult voice actors (Tobi, Madara, Obito) and I was sure I checked this at some point.

I'm so happy now? Like. this changes everything somehow. I was sad before because the voice gives a character so much soul and it felt like the change in voice actors broke his character into pieces in a way. Turns out the voice actor was just really good and I'm easily fooled.

I only realized now because Tobi's voice gets darker when he's a racing car driver in Deidara's fantasy in the Rock Lee spin-off show and I literally went "OBITO????" and had to rewind ten times to listen to the voice shift.

I do feel a little bit stupid, since I could have double checked this long ago, but right now I'm just happy that these guys finally feel like the same guy to me. Like Obito actually did the Tobi acting himself, like the utterly insane good boy roleplayer he is.

To all those who already knew: It took me a while to get here, but I'm very glad to be one of you now.
