Why did Astroworld go so wrong?
Astro world went wrong for a number of reported reasons. Firstly due to the lack of security, training, communication, responsibility and crowd control. This was the first live show since the pandemic. There were reports of the entrances being crashed by fans prior to the incidents happening, there had been numerous deaths in the past due to festivals organised by Livenation and there was Travis Scott encouraging his fans to cause controversy and ruin. Not to mention, his family and friends watched ahead into the crowd so stuck behind ego’s, they didn’t even realise people were screaming for help and dying beneath them. Travis shortly paused the show a few times but why he continued to perform afterwards when there were reportedly bodies on the floor is one that’s chilling. Many bloggers believe this is some sort of satanic ritual and not just bloggers but fans have spoken out on how demonic this was and how the energy frequency was too high. This has to be the biggest lawsuit we have ever seen within the live music industry. Billions and billions of dollars lost and victims lost over safety issues at a concert to see a few people. Drake was an artist that also performed at Astroworld and as well as himself, Apple Music and The police department have all been tied into this billion dollar investigation and lawsuit to be filed by the victims families. The lawyers associated to the case say this has been the biggest lawsuit they have ever seen with over 200 people filing against Astro world, Live nation and Apple Music. Many Users of Spotify called to even ban Travis Scott’s music saying that when they hear his music, they feel sick and one DJ said he played Travis Scott at SZA’s show and the song was boo’d until he changed the song. Attendees of the show called it something out of a horror film and even started questioning his art work and if what had happened is tied to something more sinister & spiritual. There were people running on stage trying to get the camera man’s attention. There were people screaming “help” and “I can’t breathe”. There were people trying to get out, trying to find the exit, but instead we’re cut off from their friends and found ourselves alone amongst thousands of raging people. An 8 year old boy was the youngest of victims and many people speculate that this is what pushed Travis Scott to put out an apology video. Myself and others believe that this apology was fake and not sincere due to his calm demeanour and the hiding of his face. On top of this he was seen partying afterwards as well as Drake who was seen at a strip club a few hours after this happened. Travis Scott offered to pay for the funeral of the 9 year old boy but the family declined this respectfully. Many articles blame this on crowd surging. I believe it’s something more sinister. Travis Scott was aware of what was happening around him and did nothing about it. He encouraged his fans to surge that night and at previous events. Travis is just as responsible as the people who were working for HIM that night. Everyone at the show has been refunded and many artists like Megan The Stallion have cancelled their shows out of respect for the victims.
Rest in power to all the victims lost during this concert just by listening and supporting there favourite music 💙

ALBUM REVIEW
Baby Keem - The Melodic Blue
Tumblr media
Who is Baby Keem?
Baby Keem is a 21 year old rapper, cousins to Kendrick Lamar. The creative artist dropped his long awaited studio album, The Melodic Blue. The 16 track project features from Kendrick Lamar on “range brothers”, previously released “family ties” and even Travis Scott featuring on the track “Durag activity” & his single “cocoa” featuring Don Toliver. Keem also appeared on Kanye West’s Donda giving him extreme publicity. He has worked with the likes of Beyonce. His album has an interesting layout, with Keem sitting on a plank of wood in the middle of nowhere and each song title starting with a lower case instantly gives me lowkey, chill, peaceful vibes. Baby Keem’s album gives me unique, psychedelic and trippy sounds. It’s the type of music that makes you listen. Not vibe, but listen. It makes you listen and feel what he is saying. The beats are random at times and abrupt, giving the rapping a more powerful stance and more of a voice. The art work and theme is so simple it draws more attention to the content, the music, the lyrics and the meaning. He mixed trap, with hard core bass, beats and melody’s. My favourite song on the album is “Durag Activity.” The flow is simplistic, it’s catchy and it’s relevant to the black, urban hip hop scene today. Baby Keem’s voice can come across as lifeless, but we quickly learn that this is his style. His lyrics are what captivates you with lyrics. Travis Scott adds in the auto tune giving it more of a modern and popular feel to it. Although it’s not complex, the basic instrumental is saved by the drums. With 98% of users rating this album highly, it’s safe to say this will go down as one of hip hop’s youngest class A albums released this year.

LIVE REVIEW
Beyonce’s Glastonbury was one of the Best Performances of all time
Tumblr media
Beyonce has always been my favourite artist growing up. But that’s not why I am writing this today. I am giving you my absolute best and greatest opinion on the world's greatest female entertainer of our generation. Not only was she the first woman to headline the Glastonbury main pyramid stage, but she was the first woman of colour to perform and headline the pyramid stage. She opened the end of the show with her most famous single yet “Crazy in Love” with her husband in the audience and a colourful pink and orange display of fireworks & lighting to match her gold attire and hair. Her voice was so powerful, viewers at home felt like they were there! She gave the most magical, influential and memorable performance of her career and in history. She sang every note on time, on point and with pure accuracy. Her breath control, walking in heels and remaining eye contact was immaculate. She even came down to the front row to sing into people's hearts. Everyone was in tears and everyone was in absolute gaze. Although this was over 10 years ago, it still has to be one of the best performances anybody could watch. Entertaining, edgy, captivating, no wardrobe malfunctions and even when Beyonce was out of breath, she sounded GREAT! At times I found it to be quite emotional how inspiring she was, there were so many times we were watching this and you cannot help to think, what a remarkable woman and how blessed I am to have witnessed this. 99% of viewers gave this 5 stars. It’s not something you can watch once, it never gets old, it goes down as just one of the best.
