7 of 50 days of productivity
1 January 19
Hey everyone, Happy New Year! 🎉🎉
I haven't posted the days before as I was done with my uni assignments and I wasn't doing anything that productive 😅.
During this time I thought about my situation and I've came to realise that I wanna pursue a different career path, in music production, therefore I will drop out of uni in order to do this full time. It's not an easy decision but I believe it is the right one as i will be doing something I'm really passionate about.
As my schedule will be soo mad packed, this will be my last post, I don't know if forever of for a period of time. It wouldn't make sense to keep this challenge going when I know I have to focus on so many things and I won't be able to keep it up.
I hope you had a good start of the year and that it will bring you all joy and clarity.
Have a good night or a good day.

17 Dec 18
Hey everyone, today I worked on my Tort Law presentation and to be fair I think I'll continue even tonight because I watched some episodes of TVD during breaks 🧛♀️. Nothing else to say though, well I cooked some very tasty spaghetti with tomato sauce; sometimes you just need a bowl of carbs, it's the key to happiness 😋.
I'll leave today's post to it.
Have a good night or good morning
🐓❤
Btw TVD's soundtrack is amazing, I believe it to be the best compared to any show I've ever watched.

Forest 🌳🌳
Hey everyone,
As some of you out there I use the Forest app to track my productivity. Unfortunately not many people close to me use it, so I was wondering if anyone here used it and would like to add me as friend to motivate eachother or if knows someone who's a constant Forest user.
Thank you

5 of 50 days productivity challenge
Today I woke up late around 10 am as I needed to get some sleep, so no regrets 😁! Then for lunch I made pasta and I came up with an interesting recipe, I'm quite proud of my self. Later I went with my sister to do Christmas gifts shopping, though the weather was soo bad, it was raining cats and dogs and it was freezing🧤❄❄. Still we managed to choose amazing gifts and laugh our asses off in the process, so overall it was a good afternoon.
Honestly I was too tired to do anything after so I just ate pizza and watched a tv series 🍕.
Now I'm going to bed so that tomorrow I can start my day early and fresh.
Have a good night or good morning.
🐓❤
P.S: included this day in the challenge because I believe it's normal to also have tranquil days where someone doesn't have to rush everywhere or that has to do minimum 8 hours of study during the day or whatever standard is imposed on. Just take your time and listen to your rhythm, without forgetting your duties though!

4 of 50 days of productivity challenge
Today I had a Marketing written exam and to be honest I thought it would have been worse but I can't say for sure how I did, I'll just have to wait and see.
Also since I got 3.5h of sleep the night before, when I got home I ate something and fell asleep on the couch 😬.
Now I'll end this post with a song suggestion and I'll update you all tomorrow.
Have a good night or good day

3 of 50 days productivity challenge
Today I've studied for my Marketing exam which is tomorrow. I don't feel that unprepared thought I'll see tomorrow how it goes.
I'm also more and more addicted to BTS' music, it's so amazing and refreshing! Today I was thinking that it's been ages (quite literally) I've been so obsessed with a band/ artist. Don't know if it's good or bad :/.
I've listened to "spring day" for the first time and it brought me deep sadness just by seeing the music video. I've looked into the meaning and the inspiration for it and in a blog, I don't know if it's the truth but seems quite plausible, its says that they paid a tribute to the victims of the Sewol disaster. I can't stop thinking about it. My condolences to everyone impacted by this terrible tragedy.
💛
I'll end this post with a reminder to try enjoy your life and treat everyone with kindness.
Have a good night or good morning.

2 of 50 days of productivity challenge
Hey guys, so as promised I'm posting my 2nd day into this challenge. So far so good, I'm extremely busy so I'm kind of forced to do this challenge, though for some reason I like it (I guess I missed the feeling of pulling an all-nighter to prepare any exam/coursework 😬☕). The joys of life! Anyway I wanted to put today's Forest timeline but I can't upload it and I don't know why 😫.
I'm going to keep working until I can't stand it anymore (disclaimer: I do not encourage such behaviour, it's just that, as a procrastinator in recovery, I'm still learning to not leave everything last minute 😁).
Good night or good morning.
🐓❤
P.S. Perfect song as a study base.

Very interesting, I believe it can be also applicable to marketing, particularly the importance of choosing the right word.

It’s about time you learn this.

To be honest I'm not a fan of poems but this one I feel it speaks to me. Unbelievable the power of words and pauses. 💕

1 of 50 days of the productivity challenge
Hello fellow studyblr, I hope your week was fulfilling and productive.
I started this challenge again because in the past days I didn't feel I was productive enough so I put it off until I felt the time was right again (probably this won't make sense to you but to me it does so just accept this reasoning and do go on). Now that time has come, I feel way more motivated, probably because the first set of deadlines for my courseworks is veeery close 😬. Anyway I'm restarting this journey with you and I will continue it even after the exams period because I need this to help me keep my days structured and always filled with purpose.
Now about my productivity for today:
-woke up at a decent time
-tied up my room
-studied with no music or anything in the background that could distract me, so that I could dedicate 100% of my attention to the subject I'm preparing a coursework on, which is Tort Law for 3 hours.
I plan on keep working even tonight but I'll include that work on tomorrow's productivity post.
Have a good day or good night.
🐓❤

These are interesting suggestions which I'll try to keep in mind!

Hey! so i just created my very first studygram (shameless self promo @decafstudy follow me) and one of my irl friends saw my stories and posts and asked “How many hours does your day have? ´cause mine only has 24″ and that got me thinking abt how i take the most advantage of my days to make them feel (or look) 48 hours long! Here are a few of the things I incorporate on my daily student life to be more productive!
• IF YOUR FIRST CLASS STARTS LATE IN THE MORNING WAKE UP 2 HOURS EARLIER THAN NEEDED i know, am i crazy? ok so here´s the deal. If your first class starts, let´s say, at 11:00 A.M you might be tempted to wake up at 10:00 A.M, get dressed, and head to school. Not only does this create bad habits for when you get assigned a 7:00 A.M class (which will happen) but you lose MANY HOURS OF PRECIOUS TIME. Get your 8-9 hours of sleep and do not let yourself wake up later than needed. My class sometimes starts at 11:30 A.M so i wake up at 8:00 have a nice morning, relax, work out a bit, light up a candle and get ahead on reading and work for school! Your day will start and feel more productive!
• NEVER LEAVE CLASS WITH A DOUBT ON YOUR MIND I know this might create anxiety for people who are shy and do not like asking questions during class (i am one of those people) If you feel just too scared to ask during class APPROACH THE TEACHER AFTER CLASS ENDS. as soon as he dismisses class, approach him and ask the question. If you are not able to do so DO NOT STRESS, BUT WRITE THAT QUESTION DOWN ASAP ON A POST IT AND STICK IT YOUR NOTEBOOK. that way you will have the question at hand and you can seek tutoring later and ask, or even ask a friend BUT NEVER LET A QUESTION GO, NEVER think “i will ask it later” BECAUSE YOU WON´T and IT WILL DOOM YOU. This will save so much time when you study, because all your questions will be at hand and you will know what you have to focus on studying.
• WHENEVER YOU HAVE FREE TIME, USE IT TO WORK WHILE DOING SOMETHING FUN instead of just diving head first into watching a movie, ask yourself if there is something more productive that you could be doing rn (reading ahead, reviewing, doing extra math exercises) if the answer is yes, then put that movie on mute and work while taking a peek at the movie ever once in a while. This will not only help you with discipline and learning to keep yourself from distractions, but it will occupy your free time in something that your future self will thank you for later on.
• NEVER ASSUME THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DO IT LATER again, think in terms of your FUTURE SELF how much would your future self love it if instead of studying 3 days before the exam, you studied a week before it? How much would your future self love it of instead of reading until 12:00 PM tomorrow, you divided the reading between today and tomorrow? never assume that you will have spare time ahead because chances are that you won´t and you will end up with A BUNCH of work that you didn´t do and that you can´t do at the moment. FUTURE SELF THINKING has saved my life.
• LEAVE TIME OPEN FOR MENTAL HEALTH/PHYSICAL/RECREATIVE CARE as much as i always put work first, I KEEP MY THERAPIST VISIT AND MY GYM ROUTINE STABLE no matter how much work i have. This helps me feel more balanced and like i am on top of everything, not just school, feeling good=more productivity.
• POMODORO TECHNIQUE i know many people know about this but if you don´t, this is basically a studying technique in which you work or study for 25-30 minutes straight NO DISTRACTIONS and then have a 5-6 minute break, and then repeat the process as many hours as you need. This really helps me not get burnt out when I have a heavy load of work. Watching study with me videos on yt is a good way of keeping the pomodoro system going. Some good apps that I use for POMODORO are Forest and Tide.
• HAVE AN APP CARPET ON YOUR PHONE THAT IS CALLED “PRODUCTIVITY” ie. download a BUNCH of cute as hell apps that help you get motivated and organised when you look at them. This will make you more prone to look at your phone as an INSTRUMENT rather than a DISTRACTION. (my fave apps are Taskade, Forest, Tide, Brainscape and Pocket)
• Lastly, GET MOTIVATED i know this sounds cliché, but the reason why i love keeping my day busy is because i surround myself with a romanticised idea of studying. Doing these kinds of posts, following a bunch of accounts with pretty notes, having a clean room and desk, going to the library and appreciating the color scheme or sounds around you, listening to relaxing sounds or music while working, downloading many pretty apps to keep myself on track while having a cute aesthetic… all of these things might seem small, but they make you feel cleaner, more balanced and more prone to LIKING the work you do.
Anyways i know most of you already do these cause yall are on top of your game alllll the tiiiiime girl, but if any of these helps, ill be very happy!

So true!
how to start studying after school
clean up your desk: it’s hard to concentrate when there’s a pile of rubbish on your desk. the chance of you fiddling with things is also higher! you’ll get more done by cleaning your desk! if you’re looking for an easy way to organise your desk, check out these handy organisers!
get your books: get out all the books you need to study that particular subject. if it’s geography, an atlas might be handy.
get a notebook: if you’re in uni or college it’s a good idea to re-write all your notes for your classes that day. make them look clean and tidy. if you’re in secondary school and you’re studying for a test, summarize everything you have learned. in any case, it’s best to have a few notebooks on your desk too. here’s a 4 pack of spiral notebooks for $7.04!
grab some pens: seems self explanatory! i recommend you having an ordinary pen, a highlighter and a pencil on hand. (a.k.a. the basics!) here are some super cute gel pens!
turn off your phone: by turning off your phone, you will get less distracted by social media. sure, people won’t be able to reach you but you’ll get some peace and quiet. obviously leave it on if you’re expecting an important call!
look for a study playlist: if you easily get distracted by your laptop too, skip this step. i personally find it harder to get distracted by my laptop than my phone, so i leave it on and look for some music to study to. here’s a masterpost of some good playlists to listen to!
get a glass of water: you really need your h2o, everyone. grab a large glass or fill up a water bottle. some super cute ones: i ii iii
get a healthy snack: if you’re like me and you love snacking on things while your studying, the best thing to do is to grab something healthy. cut up some apples and sprinkle some cinnamon on them (try it. it’s amazing.), grab some hummus and some celery or carrots or cucumber to dip in it, fill a little bowl with nuts, treat yourself to a square of dark chocolate! if you’re studying during dinner time or lunch time, make yourself a nourishment bowl to nibble on. for more study snack ideas, go to pinterest and snoop around the study snack tag for a while. try out my favourite smoothie bowl too!
take a deep breath: i know from personal experience that sometimes the workload can be really scary and freak you out. the most important thing to do is to take a deep breath and to tell yourself you can get through all your work. you can do anything if you try hard enough!
get cracking: now that you’ve done steps 1-9, you can actually start studying! good luck!
