Welcome to the Eurovision Song Bracket!

This will be a fairly large bracket, consisting of two "teams" of 68 songs for a total of 136 competitors! The first team has been preselected, and will consist of all previous winners or popular vote winners if applicable. This means that if your favorite song won, you do not need to submit them (a couple of exceptions apply, see list at the bottom/read more for details) Click Here to submit your favorite! Submissions will be open for a week or until 68 different songs are gathered, whichever happens first. If a week goes by and we don't have a full 68, then I will randomly select entries to fill the remaining spots.

Rules! - Entries must have been a part of the main competition of Eurovision of any year (I might do a MGP mini bracket if the people want that) - Once again, you do not need to submit winners, they are (mostly) automatically in. Again, see bottom for details and explanations. - You may submit multiple songs, but please don't send the same song over and over. - Propaganda is highly encouraged! There is a spot for it in the submission form, and adding it on to the poll itself or sending an ask is also allowed. You may send a DM, but I'll probably be slow to respond that way.

How it Works! - There will be multiple brackets of 34 songs - Each of the preselected winners will be randomly against one of the submitted songs. Pairings will be decided through number assignment and a random number generator. - Vote for your favorite! I will include links to the songs in the poll so you can listen to both before voting. The winner will move onto the next round until we find the winner of that bracket. - Once all brackets are complete, the winners of their individual brackets will go onto the finals to determine the (unofficial) Ultimate Eurovision Song Winner! - There will be a preliminary around, as 1969 (hehe nice) had a four way tie, so we will need to determine which of those four will represent that year! i know i'm a basic bitch for this opinion but pee sauna was one of my favorite videos from ua

just- the sheer chaos that came from it. the build up from beer sauna, after evan(?) mentioned using piss for the sauna.

the anticipation for quarantine to end because oh my god we'll see these fuckers do the worst thing ever

everything surrounding that video was hilarious, and while i wish it had gotten higher, i'm glad it got 4th place

The anticipation, the build up, the fandom-wide preparations... I know this can be said of all of Unus Annus, but you truly had to have been there.

I’m actually so proud of how far my fave, Mark conquers his fear of night swimming, made it as far as it did, but I’m still so sad it lost out to Pee Sauna lol, my mans the Gongoozler deserved better than that 😔

I did have a few people excited for a potential Gongoozler Vs. Heehoo, which would have been fun but unfortunately wasn't meant to be. I am a rather big fan of the silly little characters from Unus Annus, so I am also glad he got as far as he did.

My favorite vid was 1 man 100 accents, which did okay at first but got nowhere near the finals. But I love it because I think it really captured the true spirit of Unus Annus, which was just sitting down and creating something. And that's really what Unus Annus was about.

Ah, yes. I do think that's a lovely way of putting it; just sitting down and creating something. I think part of the appeal of Unus Annus, at least to me, was how replicable it was. Perhaps that's not the right word... but, well, it was all things that people could, realistically, do.

Perhaps some things were a little more extreme and/or location limited, and of course, some they musically encouraged us to not try ourselves at home, but doing silly accents, visiting an escape room, playing operation with baby hands... how many of these videos truly boiled down to just having fun with a friend? And maybe their dogs, too.

If you knew you had one year, why not spend it with a friend having a good time? If we are to truly live life to the fullest, we don't have to spend large amounts of money or do something rather extreme or impossible for someone with less resources than them. We simply must enjoy it with what we have. Fun can be made with anything, be that duct tape, blind bag slime toys, or strange websites.

Speaking of which, I do remember one person in my notes saying something to the effect of the quarantine era being a low point in Unus Annus... I'm not sure I agree. Sure, taste is subjective, of course, but I didn't think Mark and Ethan had to do something incredibly wild in order to be entertaining. It was rather grounding, I think. A nice intermission.

And well, that clip of Ethan lip syncing Lose Yourself with the baby hands will forever live in my mind...

I'm just sad mark reviews the impossible whopper but there's a sense of impending doom didn't make it so far because every video after it until... Ethan becomes a man? when he gets shot there's like this running joke of holding the paintball gun and it was so good

Well, it did make it to round six, which was the one just before the quarterfinals, at least. It was a fun one, of course, even on its own removed from the larger paintball reoccurring joke.

…And, ah, sorry to everyone whose favorites were eliminated in round one or two, by the way. Such a large number, slaughtered so casually…

I'm gonna rant about it even though it doesn't matter lol.

Sure cooking with sex toys was a good video but it's I wouldn't say it's definitely not anywhere near my top 5. I feel like it's kinda demeaning to say the second video was the peak and there was no point in continuing.

The only good parts of it were the concept as a whole and the bit where the neighbor knocked on the door. Honestly, compared to the vast majority of videos it was relatively tame.

Pee sauna feels like a much more fitting winner. It is The culmination of a recurring theme (piss). It was the first video after lockdown (which massively impacted unus annus as a whole) and was therefore the most (and kinda only) anticipated video. It was part of *tHe LoRe* as it was refered to in hidden messages before it came out. It was a funny video in and of itself and is a much better summation in my opinion of everything that made unus annus what it is. Also unlike cooking with sex toys it didn't get age restricted lol.

I do have to say, I am very surprised DTC made it to the finals. In my personal opinion… is that video truly that good? It wasn’t bad, of course, but it never really stuck out to me as one of the best. If- before this competition where I’ve become very acquainted with the catalogue of videos- one had asked me to name some Unus Annus videos… I don’t think that one would have come to mind. I, personally, think if Pee Sauna made it to the finals, the competition would have been much closer. I mean no offense to DTC fans, but putting that against CWST..?

That is, honestly, why I made the 3rd place poll. I wasn’t planning on it, but I wanted to give Pee Sauna a chance to go out with some glory.

I honestly thought the videos i liked would get farther so its very weird to see the sex toys and pee sauna get to the finals. im starting to think my video tastes were the weird ones

Taste is subjective, friend. And, well, the format of brackets does make for a large number of videos just simply losing immediately without much of a chance to establish themselves.

I suppose the best way to go about finding people's opinions would be to have everyone rank all the videos themselves, then average that out... but I cannot in good conscience ask people to take the time to rank 366 videos like that.
