Cretum is halfway down the side of her lusus when she notices Vesper, picking up on some small sign that she wasn’t alone, turning her head with a yelp and tumbling the rest of the way down. Between the softness of her, her lusus, and the sand, she’s entirely unscathed, if a bit frazzled. It takes her a moment to stand back up and dust herself off.

“Shit, don’t do that! You scared the fuck out of me. What if I’d shot you?” She never would, being far more inclined towards flight than fight, but it’s technically a possibility. “You might’ve scared her too.” She pats the side of her lusus, getting a squinty eyed smile from the seal.

‘Alright, EYE will see YOU THEN!’

It takes a few hours for Cretum to get there, her lusus having stopped a few times to snack on some other sealife, but they end up making landfall fairly fast regardless. Cretum clambers down the side of the massive seal, her lusus happily relaxing on the beach after a long swim and several meals.
