ideal living situation is what i call the 'sitcom special' : having all your closest friends live in the same apartment building or neighborhood where you each have your own space but can wander in and out of eachothers homes at will, seemingly always welcome and never at bad times. and also all of you only have jobs when its important to the plot.

i really like this thing where websites will have separate "log in" & "sign up" buttons and if you click "log in" it takes you to a sign-up screen anyway so you have to click "i already have an account" and then it will ask if you want to sign in with your facebook account or with instagram or linkedin or deviantart or whatever, and if you choose "username & password" it asks if you want to put in your username or use your thumbprint, and once you put your username & password it emails you a confirmation code, and once you put in the code it says "do you want to give us your phone number for future sign-ins? do you want to sign up for facial recognition? do you want to give us your bones? give us your fucking bones?

We have this interesting situation where we basically no longer have privacy nor the expectation of privacy, but we also don't have community or meaningful connection with others, so we're all simultaneously both completely exposed and absolutely alone, and please understand that when I say this situation is "interesting", what I in fact mean is that it's "nightmarish and I wish I could wake up"

Read the finale for Not your Typical Reincarnation Story and am sad that I can't find any fanworks of ogRhyse/ogEdith. They're such a delicious doomed yuri pair!

OgRhyse was the very first character to break from the story. She's supposed to be this perfect heroine beloved by everyone who gets a perfect happy ending, and it's not good enough because ogEdith dies miserable. She winds up dooming people to die (indirectly) in an attempt to save ogEdith who tries to take the blame for her actions and stay the villain. She didn't break the world as much as Homura did, but she's definitely in that line of "if the world demands your suffering and death, then I will break the world for you".
