11 Luciferian Points of Power by Michael W. Ford:
1.     Lucifer represents the light of intellect, wisdom and power unique to the individual with the courage to ascend to this responsibility.
2.     The symbol of the Adversary is that of the self-liberator and spiritual rebel who inspires self-evolution.
3.     Lucifer represents the balanced torch bearer of Venus: The Light Bringer as the Morning Star and the Night Bringer as the Evening Star.
4.     The Adversary symbolizes the spark of consciousness which questions everything, manifesting the individualistic path with accountability only to the self.
5.     The fall of Lucifer symbolizes the liberation of the mind from the slave-mentality and the courage to explore and master the darkness within. One may not offer the illumination of the Morning Star without the wisdom of the darkness within.
6.     The Adversary represents rebellion with the purpose: wisdom, strength and power.
7.     Lucifer represents the courage and fortitude to acquire healthy self-love, leading to the responsibility of honoring your temple of mind, body and spirit.
8.     To become your own god you must have the wisdom and strength to govern and guide your life as if your mind is to survive beyond the mortal body.
9.     Indulgence with restraint, love for the deserving and disdain for those undeserving.
10.  Lucifer represents the insight that every act, no matter if perceived as selfless, is at core a selfish act. Even if helping others is your passion, the brain still receives a chemical reward triggered by the act. Therefore, many consider that doing good deeds in society may bring you closer to âgod.â Recognize you are selfish, then see this fact in all others while observing. Accept this and then with this knowledge, make choices that would benefit not only yourself but your loved onesâ when possible.
11.  To become a god is to fully understand that you possess the power to create and sustain your path in life and illuminate the light of self-determined potential.

Hot take but you canât learn about paganism without also learning about white supremacy and how it uses pagan religions to push hate group agendas all over the world today. If you donât learn about the connections between the two and how it operates, your ignorance enables white supremacists to keep on doing it and using it to recruit others. People in our community who do nothing and stay silent are literally a part of the problem, there is no opting out whatsoever. Divorcing the two makes the issue repeat itself over and over and over again.
Itâs not hard to include this in your research and stay aware. Itâs the bare minimum.

to those who feel like they havenât been doing enough in their practice or have any doubts (this message is dedicated to myself as well):
what matters isnât the material or quantitative worth of your practice and worship. you donât need to be overly extravagant. you donât need to spend absurd amounts of money to get new things for an altar. itâs okay to dedicate the tiny little trinkets you find in your house or while youâre out of the house. you donât even need to set up an altar if youâre unable to in any way, shape, or form. worship doesnât focus on physical quantity as much as it values intent and quality.
to those who canât practice openly, itâs okay to be silent with your worship. itâs okay to not have an area to dedicate to your gods, and if you do, itâs okay if itâs hidden in a closet or a box. itâs okay to have prayers, hymns, and/or messages written in notebooks or typed into your notes app on your phone.
to those who struggle with worship because of any physical/mental difficulties. the gods understand us more than you think. once again, thereâs no need for over-the-top extravagance. a simple good morning, good night, whispered prayer, or devotional act like simply getting out of bed or even just drinking some water is sufficient. youâre doing your best and the gods can see that.
to those who question whether their belief is real. whether the lingering presence they can sense beside them or in the back of their mind is truly the god(s) you worship or are trying to reach out to; trust yourself. trust your intuition. no one knows your practice better than you do and no god will try to impersonate another just to screw with your mind. they have no need for that.
remember to take care of yourself. remember to prioritize your mental wellbeing when things get tough. do not compare yourself or your practice to the people around you. we are all different. we are all unique. you matter, you are of great value, you are worth it, you are cared for, and you are loved. never forget that âĄ

this is your reminder that you are allowed to have an abnormal religious practice or craft. i've seen so many blogs worry about being palatable and accepted and i'm here to say what happens between you, your deities, and (if you practice) your witchcraft is your business alone.
you do not have to share everything with the internet, you are allowed to do things away from the public eye without talking about it. it does not make you alone. it does not strip you of the community you have.
additionally, you are so so SO allowed to practice differently from others. you are allowed to have a nonconforming practice in anything you do, not just for witchcraft or spirituality.
it's okay to make shit strange from time to time. let people question you and make incorrect assumptions about who you are. let them be wrong about you. nobody holds more value to what you do than you, and how you see your own practice.
make things weird. don't be afraid of not being accepted. it's good for you to do things your own way, however that is.

đ Low Spoons Devotion Ideasđ
As a chronically ill worshipper myself, I understand the need for low spoon devotional activities! This list is just things that personally work for Lady Aphrodite and I, that maybe you could incorporate into your worship as well! Without further ado, hereâs the list:
đ Have a dedicated TV show: for example, I enjoy watching bridgerton with Lady Aphrodite, but it can really be anything that you feel aligns with your deities domain!
đ Share a meal or drink that you were planning on consuming anyways: this id always a great option, as not only is it a great way to show your devotion, but it is also a reminder to take care of yourself when youâre low on energy!
đ Do some looking into your deity online: personally, i find that reading is always a great low spoon activity (assuming that the lack of spoons is physical not mental), and incorporating your deity in this can be a great way to grow closer!
đ Simply pray: prayer doesnât have to be fancy, or full of offerings and mood lighting. Your time is offering enough, so is your devotion. Just take a moment to thank your deity for any blessings they may have brought your way!
đ Rest: while this may seem counter intuitive, resting and taking a break *can* be devotional. Dedicate your nap to your deity. Your health should always come first, and from personal experience, and the experience of those I speak to, the gods do want you to rest.
If I missed anything you think should be on the list, please let me know!!

something that comes up a lot in pagan spaces both online and irl I've noticed is this idea that nature/the natural world is "preferred" by the Gods, and that they aren't as likely to engage with worshippers in big cities or with modern technology.
and while it is true that nature is extremely important to the Gods, and many of us are frankly isolated from it, it has always felt off to me that people just unquestioningly accept this idea that Nature = Good and Civilization = Bad.
maybe it's because our current society is not structured in a way that allows for a reciprocal relationship with nature, or maybe it's because of some unconscious "noble savage" tropes being projected onto the polytheistic societies of the past.
regardless, when you actually look at the mythology, you find this assumption isn't true. sure, there are deities who may individually lean towards one or the other (Artemis comes to mind) - but generally speaking the Gods engaged with both the natural world and what was, for the time, modern society.
and I love the wild/nature aspects of Dionysus SO much. but to only focus on that side of him, and ignore his role in theater, viticulture and the arts (part of culture and civilization) would be both a disservice to myself and the power of the God.
and then there are Gods like Hephaestus, who may even "prefer" engaging with modern technology. people seem to forget there are like, literal robots in Greek mythology?
here's an example:
"The [mythical first bronze] temple [of Apollon at Delphoi] was the work of Hephaistos, or the legend about the Golden Singers, referred to by Pindaros in his verses about this bronze temple :--âAbove the pediment sang Khryseiai Keledones (Golden Charmers).â"
Pausanias, Description of Greece 10. 5. 12 (trans. Jones)
Hephaestus made Apollo automaton singers for one of his temples?? like that's cool as fuck
(as a side note, I do NOT think the arguments I'm making here apply to AI generated "content" - Hephaestus never made anything that deliberately stole the artwork of humans. fuck AI.)
but my point here is that for most of the Gods, the Nature vs. Civilization thing a lot of pagans hold on to is a false dichotomy. capitalism, colonialism and the exploitation of life have made our current society unsustainable, but civilization itself isn't inherently bad.
we must respect and honor nature. but we also need to respect and honor ourselves.

hey peopleâs! Friendly reminder:
It is okay to not be serious 24/7 with your deity. Polytheism is a religion, obviously, and should be treated as such, but do not feel like you cannot be yourself around them. And if you yourself are a more relaxed and casual person, embrace that! To truly connect with a deity, you have to show them who you truly are!
Just a reminder in case anyone is nervous to be more comfortable around their deity; you got this!

There is a difference between devotion, worshipping, and working with a spiritual being.
Devotion is long term or permanent, with a being you see being in your life for a very long time.
Worshipping is usually one-sided, offering veneration to something not of this world. Can sometimes have a goal in mind.
Working with one of these beings is a two-sided relationship in which you give an offering with the expectation of receiving something in return.

You donât have to wait for a deity/being to reach out to you. Try your hand and see what happens, the results might surprise you.
Though be careful and do your research before doing so. Some deities are very picky and not suited for beginners. Donât be discouraged if they donât answer.
