AFTER Asriel’s seeming demise, Chara had reached LV20, thus increasing their capacity to hurt, leading them to believe that they could finally take on Bete. Unfortunately, that was not enough…  Even with both theirs and Gaster’s power, it wasn’t enough to stop this demon.

With all hope seemingly to have been lost, a miraculously alive Asriel shows up with the former King and Queen.  From there Asriel summons the Hypergoner, taking both he and Chara to the void where they met an unlikely character.
