SMITTEN BY A KITTEN

Chapter 1 - Valentine's day

~ Frown Town ~

" BROCK!!!!!!" yelled a very angry Master Frown as he met their apartment's living room covered in valentine decorations.

"Oh hey dude, you're awake" Brock said, hanging up valentine streamers.

"Why does it look like Cupid's barf in here?" Master Frown said, taking down the streamers.

"Because it's Valentine's day" Brock said, hanging the streamers back "Now, meet me at the car."

"What? Why? Where are we going?" Master Frown said

"Remember you agreed to come with me to Unikitty's Valentine's party"

"But... But..."

"Ahh, ahh, ahh, you owe me"

"No I don't"

"Yes you do, Remember the pancake incident?"

"Okay, fine I'll go but don't expect me to act like I care about this stupid holiday"

"Fine by me"

Master Frown and Brock hopped into their car and drove towards Unikingdom.

~ 15 minutes later ~

Master Frown and Brock arrive at Unikitty's valentines day party.

"Let's get this over with" Master Frown groaned as he walked in

Master Frown's POV

The room was so Valentines that I almost barfed. Unikitty's dinklehead friends were at a corner. They were drinking punch. And above them was a picture of Unikitty that I had never seen before. She looked really pretty.

"Brock!" I heard a really familiar voice say.

"Oh hey Unikitty" Brock said"Cool party"

"Awwn thanks Brock" Unikitty said" Oh hey Master Frown, didn't see you there"

"Yeah you did"I said" I'm gonna go cause some mischief"

As soon as I said that, I slipped on some spilt punch and went flying into Unikitty's new picture. Everything else happened so fast and when it was all over, everyone was covered in punch and the snacks were all over the place.

"This party stinks" someone said and everyone agreed and started leaving.

"Wait! We can still make the most of it" Unikitty said but everyone had all ready left.

"Awwn man" Brock said"I'm really sorry Unikitty"

"No it's not your fault" Unikitty said, her pink color turning into white. She burst into tears and flew out of the room.

"Dude go and apologize to Unikitty."

"But none of this was my fault" I retorted

"Just go apologize, man" Brock said

"Fine" I said

I said and walked outside

"Unikitty! Where are you?" I called. Suddenly, I heard her sobs coming from their backyard.

"Unikitty...." I said and sat beside her. I don't even know how to say sorry.

"Oh hey Master Frown" She said, wiping her still falling tears.

"Listen, Unikitty I'm really sorry" I said.

"It's not your fault. I really shouldn't be leaving punch lying around on the floor." She said and then, unexpectedly, she hugged me.

"What...?" I asked

"Thank you, Master Frown" She said,

"For what?" I asked

"For coming to my party" she said. I felt my arms moving involuntarily around her. As soon as they did that, I felt a warm feeling course through me.

Unikitty's POV

He's hugging me back? Master Frown is hugging me back.

"Master Frown, are you hugging me?" I asked

"No" He said, his face going as red as a rose." Listen, it's still very early and I have more sadness and sorrow to spread."

Master Frown's POV

"Let's go, Brock" I stated, feeling my face burn up.

"Dude, you're as red as a ripe tomato." Brock said "What did you see?"

"Nothing, I didn't see anything" I said

Suddenly, everyone's eyes were looking above me.

"What?" I asked

"Uh, Master Frown?" Hawkodile said and pointed above me. I looked up and in that moment, a pink and very cute heart fell on me.

"Dude, do you have a crush?" Brock said

"No!" I stated" I am Master Frown, harbinger of misery. I can't have a crush. It's just that doofus kingdom is giving me a disease"

"I've never heard of this disease before" Dr Fox said "I need some of your sparkle matter to find out more about it"

" Sure, take as many as you like"I said hastily" But Brock and I have to go"

"Nah, you go on ahead" Brock said" I'll catch up"

I rushed out of the castle and drove all the way back to Frown Town.

~ Unikingdom ~

Narrator's POV

"So, Dr Fox, who does Master Frown have a crush on?" Brock asked

"Well, according to my charts and analysis, Master Frown's crush is kind, always happy and loves cute and adorable things." Dr Fox said

"Unikitty fits that description" Brock said"Does that mean he has a crush on her?"

"Possibly, yes" Dr Fox replied

"Master Frown has a crush on my big sis?" Puppycorn said" But they are nothing alike"

"I have to agree with Puppycorn on this one" Richard said

"Yeah, those two are like a fist and a face." Hawkodile said" They have nothing in common and they always clash"

"And only Master Frown has this crush" Dr Fox said

"I guess we'll just have to wait and see." Brock said

~ Frown Town~

Master Frown's POV

"Dude, I'm back" I heard Brock say from the kitchen.

"Whatever" I replied, trying to clear my mind off Unikitty.

"Dr Fox wants you to come back to the castle tomorrow for some tests on your disease." Brock said "Unless it's not a disease."

"It is" I said and I'll come for the stupid test" I said

"Good" Brock said

I tossed and turned in my bed, Unikitty's words ringing in my head

Thanks for coming to my party

And that hug.

A big pink heart formed again and crushed me. I do have a crush on Unikitty. Well I can't tell her that. I will just have to dodge all these falling heavy, pink and really big hearts.
