finally got to see my apartment in person today. also got interviewed by the news a bunch. weird day. I took most pictures on my camera, so I'll upload them soon. this picture is standing on my little back patio, looking at the kitchen and living room. the concrete part still standing is the bathtub and shower. I'll probably be back pretty often, but I did say goodbye and thank you.

also shout out to world central kitchen. I wasn't sure what their model was, but they seem to hire local caterers and businesses to make free food for clean up crews, first responders, basically anyone impacted by the disaster. so I got a delicious fresh baked pizza from a mobile pizza oven for lunch

Literally every single Neuroscience guy I listen to on audiobooks and podcasts: Multitasking is a lie. You are not more efficient. You're just rapidly switching between tasks and doing all of them slower but your brain is tricking itself into thinking it's more efficient because you get a little dopamine reward when you activate the 'change task' neurons. being a disabled environmentalist is hard.

i care so much and i wish i could aim for things like zero waste. but i just cant, doing something like that would be ignoring my health needs.

its quite isolating, because i try to find tips and environmental swaps but often they just arent possible for me to use/do and then i feel guilty for that.

even though i know its not my fault and i cant help it, it just triggers my inner ableism and i blame myself for being this way.
