I think something worth noting is that "pro-endos" and "anti-endos" aren't really distinct groups. There are hundreds of different ways to be pro-endogenic, and hundreds of different ways to be anti-endogenic.
Yeah, it's easier to just refer to these as two groups (/communities) and use language that reinforces that, but it's important to remember they aren't really.
Being pro-endogenic simply means believing in / supporting endogenic plurality in some capacity or way, it does not mean you're part of a hivemind and agree with every other pro-endogenic.
#random thought#like yeah I use grouping / community language to#but i like to think i haven't forgetten every proendogneic is just some random guy#syscourse

The Not-So-Secret Secret
You tell Jake about meeting Steven and Marc, and how you missed the fact they shared a body.
Word count: 996 | First person | Not edited
The car smelled like Jake. A masculine scent, a combination of his body wash and cologne. My knees were tucked in, balancing the take-out container as I picked at the fries. Jake sat in the driver's seat, one arm on the arm rest with the other holding his Coke.ย
โYou know,โ he said, โI still donโt get how you didnโt figure it out sooner. Youโre smartโฆ usually.โย
I rolled my eyes, cheeks heating. โDon't start.โย
โI mean, you were sitting next to Steven one day-โ he took a drink of his Coke, a grin starting to form, โ-and then a few days later you're in an alley makinโ eyes at Marc thinkinโ heโs some other guy.โย
I groaned. โOkay, Jake, it wasnโt that simple.โย
He leaned back in his seat, turning to look at me with amused eyes. โAlright, entertain me. Letโs hear the story.โย
---
I met Steven first.ย
It was in the ancient history class I signed up for at the last minute because it fit my schedule and had open seats. It was the first week of classes that semester, and I was still lazy from the break. The lecture hall was on the smaller side, with only about 150 or so seats.ย
I spotted him instantly.ย
He was wearing an apricot cardigan over a printed button down, a pair of beige slacks, and his reading glasses were dangerously close to sliding right off his nose. He was carefully arranging his notebooks and pens. He looked pleasant. Comfortable. Like the kind of desk neighbor that wouldnโt be an issue.ย
โโSโOkay if I sit here?โ I asked, pausing beside the seat next to him.ย
He looked up, startled like Iโd just manifested out of thin air. โOh, yes, Yes, itโs okay,โ he said quickly, with a clear British accent.ย
We didnโt talk much that first day. I was still shaking off the break, and Steven radiated a kind of nervous energy, and I didnโt want to make him uncomfortable.ย
---
โSteven always looks nervous,โ Jake interrupted.ย
I gave him a pointed look. โJake, donโt interrupt the story.โย
โFine, fine." He waved his hand. โResume.โย
---
Meeting Marc wasnโt quite so neat.ย
It was late. Iโd been in the library finishing up an assignment and I lost track of time. I packed up, heading towards home with my phone clutched in my hand as if that would protect me.ย
The cold air bit at me as I hurried down the street. I passed a bar, the pounding music spilling out. There were a few people outside, but I barely looked.ย
Thatโs when I saw him.ย
I slowed slightly. Leaning against the brick wall, he had a smoke in one hand with the other tucked into his pocket. He was wearing dark jeans, and a black jacket over a plain shirt. It was basic. Practical.ย
Even under the dim street light I clocked the resemblance. He looked like Steven. Dark short hair, the same height and build.ย
But, thatโs where the similarities ended. His hair was tasseled. His posture was still and steady, his boots planted on the ground and his back straight. And when his eyes met mine, there was nothing Steven about them. I told myself it couldnโt possibly be him. It had to be a brother, or cousin, or maybe some doppelganger.ย
โYou coming back inside, Marc?โ A voice shouted out from the doorway. He turned immediately.
โIn a minute,โ he replied, his voice distinctly American.ย
Marc. This was a man named Marc.ย
---
โI donโt know, Jake,โ I said now, shrugging. โMy mind just didnโt assume plurality.โย
Jake barked out a laugh. โMhm, so you assumed there were two people who looked exactly the same, lived in the same town, and hung around the same area?โย
I gave him a playful glare. โLet me finish the story.โย
---
Over the next few weeks we fell into a rhythm.ย
Steven and I started talking before and after lectures. At first it was mostly about history, or school, but slowly we crept into other topics. Steven was so knowledgeable he could have taught the class himself, although he got really flustered when I told him that.ย
And I ended up bumping into Marc more and more after my library study sessions. At the time, I didnโt question it and assumed it was just a coincidence. Looking back, of course, Marc knew my schedule because I was telling Steven, and Steven was telling Marc.ย ย
---
โYou never thought that was weird?โ Jake asked, deeply amused. โThat he knew your schedule?โย
I popped a fry in my mouth and shook my head. โI had a lot going on in my life. I didnโt have the energy to come up with theories.โย
We didnโt really speak much at first, Marc and me, just passing comments. We shared a cigarette once. We were quiet, but it was comfortable.ย
And then Steven asked me out.ย
A few days later, on a walk home, Marc mentioned it offhandedly. On the inside I was trying to figure out how he knew, but on the outside I played it cool.ย
It wasnโt until our first date that I finally figured it out. I sat there across from Steven and all of the pieces clicked together in my mind. I didnโt say a word.ย
---
โActinโ like you knew the whole time,โ Jake said, shaking his head.ย
I smiled, folding my arms. โI was too embarrassed to admit that I had zero clue that whole time!โย
Jake patted my shoulder. โYou know, they thought you were just really respectful about the whole thing. Treatinโ them like individuals.โย
โI just canโt believe they never said anything about it before that,โ I grumbled.ย
โThey assumed you would have seen they shared a body with your own damn eyes,โ he pointed out.ย
There was a pause.ย
Leaning over, I rested my head on Jake's shoulder. โYouโre an ass, you know that?โย
He smirked, his hand finding mine. โYeah, but you love me anyway.โ

Saving to read later.
Hi! Could you do a Marc Spector x Reader x Santiago Garcia fic? Can be yandere or dark or not. Idk why I imagine that these 2 would have served together and know each other. Maybe post MK season 1 and post events in TF.
I imagine reader is dating both but in her mind no commitments have been made, so sheโs free to date whoever. But in both of their minds, theyโre each in an exclusive relationship with her and she belongs to them. They find out sheโs โplayingโ them (bc you canโt hide anything from a these two). They team up to teach her a lesson and in the process learn about the importance of sharing.
Brilliant. I love this, it's awesome!!! I love the idea of Marc and Santiago having served together, they fit so well together! They're both walking tanks dishing out alot of damage. Why hasn't this been done before? :(
Outplayed
-> Moon Knight masterlist -> Triple Frontier masterlist
Dark!Marc Spector x Fem!reader x Dark!Santiago Garcia
Cw/triggers: Marc and Santi are a bit delusional, use of alcohol(only briefly), a bit of hurt(?), possessive behavior towards the end, potential typos.
Plot: After dating Santiago and Marc, and although you had a good time there were no signs of further advances and you kept on dating along with them both. But what you didn't know were Marc's and Santiago's friendship and shared time together in the past, along with their point of view on things, especially on you.
It was already late. You just came back from another nice date with Santiago Garcia, who already felt very comfortable around you and he genuinely showed it with affection. But although you two were only dating for a while, atleast that's what you're certain of since no advances or signs of a deeper relationship had been made, atleast from your point of view.
Santiago is a cool and really kind guy along with his military background, which you genuinely had respect for as Santiago told you he's trying to get back into a more civilized lifestyle, that's why he started dating in the first place.
You two continued messaging eachother until you had to hit the bed because you actually have another date tomorrow and the guy is surprisingly pretty similar to Santiago. Nice, cool, military background, protective and affectionate, but especially physical. His name is Marc Spector and you two had too been dating for a while but the same as Santiago, no signs of deepening the relationship or further commitments.
While you kept dating Marc and Santiago you also had numerous other dates, each with their up and downsides and although some of your dates had been neat, no one could compare or even stand out from either Marc nor Santiago.
The next day you had another date scheduled with a rather rich guy who took you out for dinner at an expensive restaurant. Overall the time you two had was good and the guy quickly wanted to meet you again in the future and you, with your current mindset of just dating both Marc and Santiago, you of course agreed for another meeting.
While you had your date, Santiago and Marc wanted to meet up again after haven't seen eachother for quite some time. Although both knew they were each in a relationship, both don't know you're the one each of them believed you had a relationship with.
Marc was already at their usual bar where they used to meet up in the past. Marc spotted him and gave a curt jerk with his chin to the spot next to him where he was.
"Hey pal, long time no see, how are you?" Marc said smoothly, resting his arm against the countertop.
Santiago ordered the same drink as Marc. "I'm good, how are you? And how are Steven and Jake?"
Marc gave a slight shrug. "Steven and Jake are alright, thanks. They said hi," he gave a small wave and shifted slightly, "and are you still robbing those rich assholes?"
"At the moment no, I'm trying to get used to the more normal life." Santiago answered thoughtfully and took his drink, bringing it close to his lips, "Are you still doing your 'heroic' duty?"
Marc somewhat nervously scratched the back of his neck and gave Santiago a small smile. "Here and there."
Santiago took a sip from his drink, savoring the burn down his throat. For a good few minutes there was silence between them until Marc decided to break it.
"So," he started slowly, "how's life going for you right now? You've got someone by your side?" Marc clearly hinted at a potential parnter at Santiago's side.
A proud smile appeared on Santiago's face and he was more than happy to tell him. "Yes, she's the best that ever happened to me."
Marc gave him a curt nod while a small smile grew on his lips. "Same here, buddy."
Hearing Marc's sudden confession, Santiago couldn't stop the grin from forming. "Really? That's amazing!" Santiago gave Marc a firm but friendly pat on the shoulder, showing him he was truly happy for Marc that he had finally found someone worthy.
Santiago and Marc hung out together until the early morning hours.
------
The next day had a spontanous but exciting surprise for you because Santiago wanted to take you out for dinner at your favourite place. Of course you agreed, and you thought maybe you two were at the point where either you or Santiago would confess feelings or continuing dating. And as long as you had no real relationship going, you were happy to date Santiago as you grew very fond of him with each meeting.
Soon your agreed time came, you finished getting dressed just in time as you heard a knock on your door. As expected, Santiago stood there neatly dressed and handsome, ready to go if you are.
He eyed you appreciatively and you could hear a quiet 'wow' from him but he must have catched on that you have heard it and he played it cool with a charming smile. "You look absolutely stunning!"
A faint blush creeped up on your cheeks but you smiled through. "Thanks, you're looking as handsome as ever!"
With that, Santiago held his arm out for you to take, leading you out to his car and drove to the place you two agreed.
Upon arrival, Santiago gently helped you out of his car, held the door open for you, asked for any help with your clothes and pulled out a chair for you before sitting down himself as you two were waiting for the food to arrive.
You overall felt like having a good time with him, small talk, jokes, everything you two felt comfortable talking about. After finishing his food, Santiago wiped his mouth with the napkin and cleared his throat.
"Fancy for another drink?"
You gave him a smile, "Yes."
Santiago got up and made his way to the bartender. While waiting, he leaned against the counter and watched you from afar with admiration shining in his eyes. He still couldn't believe how lucky he was that he has you. But Santiago caught you smiling at a text you received, he could make out you were on someone's chat but he decided to not let his paranoid itches get under him and shrugged it off as just a friend or something harmless. But no matter how hard he tried, his gut told him to be suspicious.
Santiago returned a moment later, seeing you put your phone down at his arrival. "Everything alright while I was away?" He asked, handing you the drink as he sat down.
As you took the glas, your fingers brushed against his, causing you to look into his eyes with a warm feeling on your cheeks.
You two spent some more time before it was already late and Santiago drove you back home. He loved you but he still wanted to know who made you smile so sweetly.
While at home, you were texting Marc and he was the one who also texted you while you were on the date with Santiago.
This time though, you wanted to meet up with him but you asked if you two could do something light, perhaps watching some movies. Both of you agreed next week on a friday.
------
You had to admit, when it came to Marc and Santiago, if you had to choose between them you couldn't tell if you wanted Santiago more or Marc because both are treating you so well and actually really cared about you not like some other guys.
Finally friday came and soon enough you were at Marc's place once more.
He brought you everything you needed to get comfortable on the couch, snacks, drinks, blankets and pillows but you two knew beforehand that you two will have eachother as pillows. During the marathon you snuggled against Marc's side while he had his arm wrapped around you to keep you close.
Long into the marathon, you began getting drowsy but the sudden ringing of Marc's phone tore you out of your drowsiness.
Marc quickly excused himself and as he proceeded answer the call you caught the name on his screen - Santiago.
Curious and a little bit surprised, you looked up at him. "Wait you know Santiago too?"
Marc returned your gaze, looking at you with a hint of surprise. "How do you know him?" He asked gently but made no move to further question you and answered.
Immediately you felt your face warm up. You fucked up. You motioned to hin that you're going to use the bathroom and he nodded understandingly.
You shouldn't have said that, they know eachother and you're dating them both. But on the other hand, if they know eachother that must mean they know you're dating them, right? Embarrassment began plaquing you and the fact Marc is talking to Santiago at the moment does not make the situation any better, what if one of them mentions you?
You had to calm down, maybe you're just over reacting and it isn't actually Santiago Garcia, but given what they told you about their backgrounds, it was highly unlikely. You just hoped that you and Marc could resume with everything, perhaps forget what happened.
Thankfully exactly this happened, Marc didn't question you about anything and you kept your mouth shut about mentioning Santiago again. Although your mind was eased with the silence regarding Santiago's name, Marc's hasn't forgotten it, he just decided to stay quiet and see if you'd start anything again. His mind swirled with thoughts on how you might have known about him. While Marc may not be overtly jealous, the thought persists within.
Meanwhile in the back of your mind there was still a bit of an unease but your shared time together ultimately came to an end with Marc bringing you home.
When Marc returned home he received a message from Santiago wanting to meet up again the next day.
-
Santiago was already there at their spot, sitting at a table with a beer. When he saw Marc arrive, he motioned for him to sit.
"Santiago, what's up?" Marc greeted motioning the bartender for a drink and sitting down across from Santiago, seeing him reach into his pocket and pull a small folded piece of paper.
"Marc," Santiago started, unfolding the paper and shoving it across the table to him, "William gave this to me after we dealt with this asshole Lorea."
Marc picked up the piece and saw some coordinates written down. He tilted his head slightly. "What's this about?"
Santiago shrugged and leaned forward. "I don't know, I couldn't reach William but I thought you'd be interested?"
Marc gave a harmless wince and smirked weakly. "Considering our girls are okay with all that then yeah."
Santiago nodded in agreement and took a sip from his beer. "That's true."
Then Marc suddenly recalled what happened last night with you and he wanted to know if Santiago knew you aswell.
"Hey listen," he let out a small breath just as his drink arrived. "Do you happen to know..." he hesistated a second before saying your name.
Santiago raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms, "Yes I'm in a relationship with her."
Surprise instantly came all over Marc. You? How? Aren't you in a relationship with him?
"What?" His voice cracked slightly with emotion. "You? That's not true, Santiago."
Santiago cocked his head. "What do you mean?"
"Because she's in a relationship with me." Marc said dryly while leaning forward and reaching for his glass.
Santiago huffed out a breath, he knows Marc doesn't lie to him but the thought of you having this relationship with Marc and at the same time with him just doesn't fit him and now he wants answers.
"So you were the one she was texting constantly?"
Marc nodded slowly. "And you're the one she texted while we were together."
Santiago had to take a quick sip from his drink after hearing the surprising news. Marc ran a hand through his hair while the other tapped gently against the glass.
"Thought we had something special..." Marc said, keeping his eyes fixed on his glass. Santiago placed a hand on his forehead in thought, he wanted to see proof that you're actually playing them and he swiftly came up with an idea.
"Let's call her, see if she's free and then confront her." Santiago suggested, "if she's not free then we will keep an eye on her and see who she's going to meet with, potentially date."
Marc nodded in agreement before he pulled his phone out and dialed your number.
"Hello? Marc?"
"Hey sweetheart! Any chance you're free in the coming up days?" Marc put up his cheerful voice to sound happy and see if you'd catch the bait.
There was some hesistation on your end before you answered with slight unease. "I would gladly but I have things to do and can't..."
Marc looked over to Santiago who's face turned grim and he whispered to him that he should pressure you further.
"With whom are you meeting, babe?" Marc intentionally used the term to put you in a state of unease and make it easier for you to slip up and perhaps tell him something he shouldn't know.
"What?" Your short, defensive laugh boomed through the phone, easily reaching Santiago's ears who gave a sceptical look.
Marc huffed out a soft laugh. "I don't think we should discuss this on the phone, it's better personally, am I right?"
"Wait is this because I was dating you?"
"Dating?" Marc drawled venomously. "You call a relationship dating?"
"I think we should talk about this in person." With those last words Marc ended the call and turned to Santiago. "There you have it."
Santiago shook his head in disbelief. "How did she not notice? How did we not notice?"
"She played us, pal." Marc replied and played with the edge of the table.
"No it can't be," Santiago insists, making Marc look up at him with a small frown, "she too kind and understanding, she made the impression she really liked me."
Marc nodded. "Yeah same for me." He gave a small smile. "And to be honest I don't think it's easy to forget her."
With a soft sigh Santiago reached into his pocket and pulled a few bucks to pay for their drinks before he stood up. "Yeah me too, honestly I don't want to forget her..."
Marc got up as well, following Santiago out into the night. While walking, Marc wanted to know what will happen now.
"So what are we going to do now?"
Santiago turned his gaze to Marc. "Keep an eye on her." He said with confident. Not that Santiago had planned to be a creep, that's the least he wants to be but he wanted to see if you're still dating with other guys or if their confession had an impact on you.
Marc and Santiago spent the following days watching you from a distance, they relatively knew your daily routine and one day after Marc had followed you, he spotted you with a guy who had an expensive car, an air of ignorance around him towards others but his attention remained on you.
Santiago met with Marc later that day, wanting to know about what Marc saw. After Marc had told him everything, Santiago hummed thoughtfully.
"We should pay her a nice visit, tell her how we feel."
With Santiago's statement clear, he and Marc prepared for their visit and soon enough it was dawn, perfect for their confession to you.
A know on the door caught your attention and you wondered who could it be at this time of day.
Upon opening the door, your breath had been caught in your throat. Santiago stood there leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.
"We should talk, sweety." He said coldly and you caught a glimpse of another person approaching - Marc.
Immediately you tried closing the door but Santiago simply moved his foot between the door and the frame and pushed the door open easily.
"What's the matter, honey? Didn't think we'd show up, huh?" Marc came up beside Santiago and both entered your home.
"You two know eachother?" You asked.
Santiago nodded. "Yes, we served in the same squad and became best friends... and here we are."
"But we had no relationship."
Marc scoffed. "No relationship? We were just two guys to you who you could date over and over?"
"No that'sโ"
"Then what was it with us?" Santiago cut you off.
"Santiago, Marc, there we're no commitments, no confessions or other signs."
This time Marc chuckled darkly. "You heard that Santiago? After so much time you spent with each of us and how we treated you, you thought we wouldn't want things to advance?"
Santiago took one step forward. "And now you're dating that rich asshole," another step towards you, "who would just acknowledge you a few times," another step, "before he'd ditch you to fuck another girl."
"But we," now Marc stepped closer, "we're not like that and you know it."
"Isn't it too late now after what happened?" You asked just above whispering, unsure what the two had in mind.
Marc stepped even closer so that he is now standing infront of you. "Sure that was unexpected," he turned to look at Santiago who stepped beside him, "but how about sharing?"
Santiago's mouth corner tugged into a small smirk. "Yeah, I think that's a great idea. After all, sharing is caring, don't you agree?"
Both Marc and Santiago cared too much about you to let go and while they agreed that having you only for each themselves had been good, now having the pleasure of sharing you with them was tempting enough and would surely be much, much more rewarding in the end.
