My apartment is a mess and it's been driving my crazy for MONTHS (the depression just HITS different sometimes). So the plan is to workout, shower, clean the apartment (a little at a time) and come here to go through my inbox then from there I want to go through my drafts.

What he did know what that he felt the same at one point. He looked back down to the city streets below and he smiled, ❝ More adventure than this? ❞

More times than he would like to admit or even think about Peter had thought he’d seen his friends or the few times when he did see them he thought they remembered him when they spoke . . . it was just like the movies  . . . they were always talking to someone behind him.

Soon Peter learned to back off. He didn’t want things to end up the way they had before. It took him a long time and even longer to talk to new people.

Just when he recognized the long pause between them she spoke up. His relaxed smile shifted to surprise, he didn’t even hesitate, not even thinking of his own plans in the past to live with his friends.

There were several times since he became Spider-Man where time s l o w e d , where he could sense everything. Sometimes though . . . things were different.                                                 He was numb.

The hair on the back of his next stood up and his eyes widened. NO ONE KNEW HIM. His entire body tensed and he knew he was holding his breath. The hand that was in the pocket of his coat gripped his apartment keys before letting them go immediately, he wasn’t about to pay for another replacement so soon. NO ONE KNEW HIM. Peter turned and he still couldn’t breath. NO ONE KNEW HIM.

❝ I’m sorry, ❞ his brows pulled together and he finally let out a heavy breath despite how tight his chest was.

The girl that spoke to him was pretty, her blonde hair would and features would stand out . . . he would have remembered seeing her before.

+ It was a genuine RARITY that Mary Jane Watson found herself STARSTRUCK . Usually it was the other way around ; people finding themselves FALLING all over her with just a simple ' hello ' . To experience the OTHER SIDE of it was a whirlwind all on its own . But just like she ALWAYS seemed to do ; MJ was already planning on coming out on TOP .

Besides ? The way he was REACTING to all of this ? It was one of the CUTEST things she'd ever seen .
