so pokemon tcg pocket just released 2 new packs

i opened a dialga pack. keep in mind this is my first pack of the new packs.

i got THIS: (for those who don’t know, there is a 0.08% of obtaining this card. that’s 1/1250. and got it in the FIRST PACK I OPENED)

Hey guys, It's me Secret Pie. You all know I am a silly little artist and a Pie, but did you know I am also an entomologist?

After spending a grueling amount of time job hunting, I landed a great job at the United States Department of Agriculture. I got through onboarding and everything--but...then the federal hiring freeze yoinked that away. I made moving plans and now I'm on the backfoot and my life has been thrown into disarray.

If you work in a lab that does entomology/agricultural work or knows someone who does and your lab could use another technician or researcher, I will email you my resume.

I am not even kidding.

I have a masters degree, I am very punctual, and I can work in the lab or the field. I will move anywhere and will move immediately.

update: i found the case (ok it was probably my brother’s case since it’s a 3ds case and i have a 2ds but good enough) and it contains exactly one game. lego harry potter. also someone in a discord server i’m in recommended i mod it, might try that at some point. but first i’m gonna need a monitor for my pc because i probably can’t do that with a chromebook.

look what i found in a box in the closet in my extra bedroom

my old 2ds, somehow still alive and at 100% charge despite having been in there for at least a few years. missing the stylus but i have extras in my junk drawer, and i found the charger a couple years ago and it’s in the bottom drawer of my desk. i only know the location of 1 game and it’s pokemon diamond which is in my closet on the shelf.

new sdv luck story (very slight spoilers)

so in sdv there’s a casino in the desert. and in the casino there’s a card game, calicojack (like blackjack but ever so slightly different)

in calicojack, there’s a small chance for the dealer to draw a weird looking card with the image of a qi fruit on it. i have no idea how rare this is as i have only found 1 reddit post about it and it is mentioned on the wiki but it does not say the chance of it.

if this happens, the dealer automatically busts and you get 3x the winnings as opposed to 2x.

it happened to me twice in a row. TWICE.

MY FIRST (SDV) METEORITE LET’S GO

i have a total of over 10 in-game years (including my old save which i haven’t visited since 1.6 came out), and not once did i get a meteorite. idk how rare they are but it feels like i shoulda gotten at least one in the 7 years of my 1.5 save.

but in the summer of year 3 on my 1.6 save, i got one!

(also this was taken from my phone because i ran out of screenshot space on my old switch, i have since transferred my save data [which felt really stressful for some reason] to my new switch so i can actually take screenshots)
