MY FIRST (SDV) METEORITE LET’S GO

i have a total of over 10 in-game years (including my old save which i haven’t visited since 1.6 came out), and not once did i get a meteorite. idk how rare they are but it feels like i shoulda gotten at least one in the 7 years of my 1.5 save.

but in the summer of year 3 on my 1.6 save, i got one!

(also this was taken from my phone because i ran out of screenshot space on my old switch, i have since transferred my save data [which felt really stressful for some reason] to my new switch so i can actually take screenshots)

i got a fitbit for christmas and today is my 2nd day wearing it

i feel fine rn but i just looked my heart rate because it’s on the home screen thing and

MY HEART RATE IS ~100??

like i don’t feel like my heart rate is higher than usual but it is apparently

me and little computer cards seem to have problems with each other

so 2 or 3 years ago, i got my first SIM card for my phone. but the issue is, it didn't work very well after like a month. so i talked to my dad about it, and we went to an apple store. apparently my SIM card had been broken from the start and i got a new one.

flash forward about a year, at a sleepover, i got a popup. "No SIM available."

panic. i needed to be able to contact my parents. i don't know what to do!

*google it because i have wifi*

*restart the phone*

it fixed.

then, after a month or so, it happened again. a week later. fixed it. again. fixed it.

then it eventually stopped happening. until literally today where i had to literally take it out and put it back in (hopefully it works).

in addition to that my switch's micro sd card broke like sometime last month. now i have a new switch from christmas. and i had to get a 2nd micro sd card in order to get my data from my first micro sd card to my new switch.

the human body is freakin strange

like… i don’t know if this thing is normal but i’m afraid to ask??

one thing i don’t think i’ve asked anyone about is the fact that my vision looks like everything is made of an uncountable number of tiny vibrating dots (i did look up visual snow and it doesn’t look quite the same) and it makes far away text hard to read because the letters look like they’re changing and shifting

and it becomes more harsh in the dark. like, the dots get larger and everything looks like it’s vibrating and it’s weird

again, i have no idea if this is normal ;-;

another thing, sometimes when i get too hot i just suddenly feel a wave of coolness throughout my body, and then suddenly i’m not hot anymore.

i also have this neat trick that i’ve never found someone who could replicate it where i vibrate my tongue on the roof of my mouth and it makes a sound :>

another luck storyyy

this one is from stardew valley and there are small spoilers

so i created a new save after 1.6 came to the switch since i play on the switch.

picture this (in sdv): you go to bed on the night of fall 7 of year 2, ready for fall 8 of year 2.

you hear the strangest noise ever.

a text box appears, saying “A strange sound was heard in the night...”

you wake up and go search outside.

you find… a strange capsule.

for those who don’t know, it’s to my knowledge, the rarest item in the game.

from what i know (with help from google and the wiki), each night it has a 0.08% chance of the event happening after year 1 is over, and it picks a random spot on the farm and checks if an item can be placed there. if yes, it appears. if not, it doesn’t appear. and if the event happens, regardless of whether or not it actually spawns, it can never happen again on that save file. it is literally a once in an in-game lifetime event.

and i got it on the 64th possible day for it to appear.

i haven’t been checking tumblr much so i didn’t realize until today ._.

i would draw something if i had the artistic ability to do so. instead i’ll just drop this dancing birb (which actually mysteriously appeared in my emojis as a sticker a while back)

sometimes i feel like there’s a ghost in my bathroom who just likes to screw with me

so i have a bathroom fan/light on a timer (you set it to 10, 20, 40, or 60 minutes and it stays on for that long). a good while ago, i had just gotten out of the shower and i was singing to myself. i was singing “Golden Hour”. one of the lyrics is “I don’t need to light to see you shine.” when i got to that part of the song, i sang “i don’t need no light” and the fan/light turned off in that moment. was pretty funny but freaked me out a tiny bit.

then, about a month and a half later, a similar thing happened. this time i wasn’t singing, i just randomly snapped my fingers (i don’t remember why) and the fan/light turned off.

recently it wasn’t anything as insane as that, it’s just that a couple days ago one of the bathroom lights went out while i was in the shower. before that, it was flickering a lot while i was in there (until it finally went out a few days after it started flickering). and sometimes when i just *looked at it*, it would stop flickering. anyways, it went out and i replaced it. the very next day, the same exact thing happened to the other light in my bathroom. there are 2 lights (plus the light in the fan) in my bathroom. the 2nd one had the same exact thing happen to it, even the part where it would briefly stop flickering when i looked at it.

these are probably just coincidences, but they’re really funny coincidences. to some of my online friends i’m known as the “king of timing” because of the sheer number of coincidences that happen when i appear

i don’t believe in ghosts, but it’s funny how many coincidences have happened in my bathroom in the last 2 years

behold. my nightmarish creation. it’s a froggit from undertale except the shadow creature under the frog part of froggit got a human soul and ripped the frog part of froggit apart, taking over its remains.

it’s the first of the creatures i am going to make that are essentially undertale monster mega evolutions. in pokemon, mega evolutions make the pokemon more powerful, but are canonically extremely painful. i am probably going to be focusing on that fact. i will also not do any of the “evolved” versions of monsters, like i won’t do final froggit or astigmatism.

the worst part about not being able to use your switch’s microsd card is not that you no longer have access to half your games. well, at least for me.

it’s the inability to take screenshots and screen recordings. i had to go through and delete like 20 screen recordings just so i have enough space to record funny things happening.

one of such thing includes my stardew valley cow breaking. it just started walking back and forth between 2 points, and one of the points was the barn door. i closed the barn door, and it went through the barn door. i literally had to record it with my phone to save it.

i don’t have a good enough signal to upload the video atm, i’ll post it when i get home
