i think toriel would act like she's outraged when people swear but then turns around and swears like a sailor even in front of others and everyone knows she's a hypocrite but no one acknowledges it or cares <3 i don't think she'd care at all if susie swore in front of her (she DOES go "the hell haven't you made me any then, dumbass?! you pie hoarding piece of-" and toriel just laughs and even tells her to call her toriel lmao). this i think also goes for undertale toriel. a "fuck" from frisk or sans or whoever would only elicit a tsk-tsk and a slight shake of the head from her that everyone can tell is just to keep up appearances. i love her <3

at last, sans babysits…i never see sans and flowey as friends (and they weren’t, at first), but there’s a lot of potential there. almost no one else is as aware of multiple timelines and how they can mess you up

as soon as you put it all together, you realize that underneath it all gaster has an underlying theme of connection in what little dialogue we have from him. that's what deltarune is- a bid for connection with the only beings who can truly know him now. he's trying to reach out to us and he knows we've been looking for him and thinking of him and he thanks us several times in his limited dialogue and he wants to know our name... and he's in pain and he's pulling himself up through hell to give this to us. that's what i'm saying. i need to fucking lie down

I like to think that the Absolute God of Hyperdeath was a name Asriel came up with while he was still alive with Chara and they were living together in 201x. It was his super cool OC and he told Chara all abt it. Which is why Chara, as the flavor text, knows abt it.
