i want a umirin mermaid/pirate au. but not the cutesy kind of mermaid!!!! the terrifying kind!!! and of course umi the dread pirate falls head over heels for the monster mermaid!rin with her sharp teeth and her many, many rough, jagged, dully colored scales (they’re scattered all over her body, like freckles kinda) and her pointy little ears! and everyone’s just like??? WHAT????

OH and there’s lots of sword fighting!

So I tried something different with the editing. I inverted the colors and it kinda looks better??? Idk at least with traditional sketches. Nozoeli sketch. Um excuse u I kno anatomy duh
