It’s FINISHED!!!!🎉🥳 I have finished my Twists and Turns Shawl. And I couldn’t be happier!!!🤩 This shawl was the mystery knit 🧶 along last year from Stephen West @westknits my first shawl I did of his was Shawlography 2021and had enjoyed the experience and learning so many techniques. 2022 came Oct 6, I too started like all other participants. By clue 2 I had been in tears 😭 cursed several times and finally took a break from the shawl for about 2 or 3 weeks. When I picked it up I was beginning clue 3. Talk about a 180! I found myself really enjoying the shawl and the process.😊 and before I knew it I had completed it. I want to point out I did the shawl completely no early bind off. I had made this decision when I took the break. Why? Just had to complete it. Will I do another mkal of West’s? Yes! The first picture is Shawlography 2021 my first MKAL. The second picture is of this year’s. I want to start by saying I had ONLY been knitting 🧶 a year when I did Shawlograpy. I learned so much and had so much fun, even though I didn’t finish the shaw until the third week of November. This year I have cried, cursed, ALMOST QUIT and that was all during the First clue!! I am now in clue 2 where I have one section where I did the twisted rib correctly. This has not been fun! But I am going to push through until the end. I FINISHED IT!!!!! 😂😂 I participated in my first Sock Week hosted by Natlie of Knittynatty and Love and Stiches. I started on July 10th and finished on the 16th! Also this was my first time doing color work using more than 2 colors. The pattern was super fun (also by Knittynatty)!
