You felt your eyes slowly opening, feeling like there was something or – someone, staring at you, but of course, you couldn't see a thing owing to the fact your blurry vision was preventing you from doing so. You grabbed your glasses from the night table while letting out a loud noise due to stretching; a sudden laugh stunned you, making your head shoot towards the door,

“Mashi- what the hell are you doing here?!” you yell-whisper at him while still struggling to correctly put on your glasses.

Indeed there he was, resting against the door frame, both his hands inside the pocket of his oversized soft pink hoodie, smiling brightly at you, making you feel extremely confused, but you’re always happy to see him.

“What?” He grinned at you again, “I can’t come see my favorite person?”

He approached the bed where you were still laying and sat on the edge, facing away from you, and suddenly he let himself drop on the mattress.

“Mashiho- I’m still confused on to how- or why- you’re even here.. what time is it—“ “10 something” He interrupts you, “I’m making you go to the beach with me” He sighed before looking up at you, you looked down at him with wide eyes and shook your head in denial, making him roll his eyes.

“Yep, we’re going, get ready, i’ll be waiting on the living room” He got up and gave you a quick kiss on the cheek before lazily making his way out of your room.

You start stressing on cue, thinking of what to wear. You picked out some warm casual clothes, no bathing suit underneath. You noticed Mashiho wasn’t wearing any sort of swimsuit so you decided to follow his dress code, it was way too cold to swim anyways. Once you finished getting everything ready you made your way to the living room.

“Finished~” you said quietly as you walk in-front of Mashiho. He was laying on your couch, his eyes immediately shifted from his phone to you, and a big smile appeared on his face. “Let’s go!!” He got up and took your hand in his, bringing it to join his other hand inside of the hoodie’s pocket.

You began to wonder why he would pick the beach out of so many places to go, especially at this time of the year, we are in the middle of autumn and the sky is always so gloomy, but yet he picks the sea?

You two began to walk towards the nearest beach, it wasn’t that far from your house, the small neighborhood seemed to live so close to the sea and Mashiho always complained about how jealous he is of you having the sea so close to you, yet you never seem to go.

As you two walked he would play around with your hand inside of his pocket and squeeze it every now and then, sometimes he would quickly take your hand out of the warm pocket to hear you complain about how cold it was outside of the warmness of his hands, which he definitely laughed at but he would place a tiny kiss on the back of your hand before putting it back into his pocket.

Mashiho loved to talk to you about how life was treating him, and you loved to listen to every single detail. Sometimes he would be explaining something to you and suddenly come to a stop, which would make you frown in confusion, but he would just randomly loose his train of thought and get lost in your eyes and on how concentrated your faced looked while you were listening to his worries.

He’s always so grateful for having someone like you by his side, he’s constantly talking about you to his family and friends, he is so proud of you and the person that you are.

As you both approach the sea, the wind became stronger and the air became colder with every step you took.

“Hmm try to think of something warm” He said while looking at you, “Think of my love for you” He smiled proudly, “Ah shush” You rolled your eyes and playfully pushed him.

When you both arrived at the isolated beach, he guided you to a small hill, it seemed to have some rocks as well, not too much sand, it looked like the perfect spot to sit. Once you both got there, he opened his bag and took out a heating blanket, which he placed on top of the cold rocks to make them warmer; he took out a small bowl-like container that brought some warm sandwiches and some fruit as well.

”You didn't have any breakfast because I made you hurry so, I brought this for you” He hands you the food with both of his hands, ”Please enjoy it a lot�� he smiled softly at you.

The wind was making it hard for you to eat, your hair was going everywhere which made Mashi laugh, but would cause you to get so annoyed. He asked to pick up your hair for you, and you accepted his request. As he struggled to properly put up your hair, you enjoyed the food he made you.

Some time had passed, you had some deep meaningful talks, and you were enjoying yourself and his company.

”Close your eyes” He said suddenly while closing his own ”Oh, okay” — ”Face the sea” he turned your face slowly away from his with his hand.

You unexpectedly felt one of his hands rub your back slowly, making you relax and take in the moment.

”Clear your mind, try to think of nothing” — ”How do I do that..?” You asked him,

His hand suddenly stopped rubbing your back, his touch was nowhere near.

”Picture a big pink eraser” He chuckled, making you smile at his sudden comment. ”Picture that the eraser is beginning to erase your feet, and your legs.. your arms, your neck, everything until you're left with nothing.”

You began to follow his voice, picturing everything that he said.

”Now the hardest part. Turn off your senses” He said and grew quiet.

You focused on the sound of the waves and the wind, forgetting every worry in your mind, taking in nature, and letting the air sweep your messy picked up hair back.

As you were completely disconnected from the world, Mashiho opened his eyes and turned slowly to look at your peaceful, relaxed face. He found himself smiling fondly at the sight of you, and decided to push some loose strands of your messy hair out of your face, brushing them behind your ear. His hand rested on your cheek for a bit, before he came in close and broke your concentration with a gentle kiss on your lips.

Your eyes opened wide when you felt the sudden impact of his lips on yours, but they closed again while the kiss became gentle. His warm hand still cupping your face.

He pulled away and sighed quietly while flashing another one of his contagious smiles.

For a couple of seconds, all you both did was stare quietly into each other's eyes, taking in everything, the silence didn't feel awkward nor empty, you were both so full of love at that very moment, words could not simply describe the notion of the love you felt for each other.
