Three protectors of Mondstadt

They are like 3 shades that work well together:

Jean: the honorable knight, work in the light and guide her people in the light of day

Kaeya: a shady knight who sees and observes what is lurking in the dark

Rosaria: is one with the darkness, spill the blood the honorary knights can't have on their hands

Jean places a lot of trust in Kaeya and his judgment and Kaeya keeps Rosaria's secrets, while Rosaria respect Jean a lot.

kaeya is someone who has his own methods of doing things, who enjoys taking risks and getting things done in the particular fashion of his.

and he’s not one to bend a knee, but there’s someone to whom he will bend his knee.

Ei doesn't bother answering; were she to indulge in Yae Miko's taunt anecdotes they'd be stuck on conversational exchanges all night long. For a god to whom time runs static, so differently than it does for mortals, this is a surprise—that Ei finds herself to be so uncharacteristically impatient.

Ei, instead, kisses her—chastely, at first, then presses further and Yae mimics her just as intently.
