Did my notifs deceive me or are you guys back

Hello :') This is mod Madi, popping my head up after probably at least 2 years?? I accidentally reblogged something to this blog earlier today, but I definitely haven't stopped thinking about ukulele-gem even as life has taken me different places.

I'm pretty busy, and not really sure what the other mods are up to, so I wouldn't say we're fully "back", but if any new requests come in I can see what I can do!!! I don't want to make promises I can't keep, basically, so we'll see how it goes!

The fact that this message was sent at all made me smile, and I hope y'all are doing well with everything going on in the world at the moment .

Uhh im trying to learn Everything Stays on the uke and im using your tutorial but the only thing is that i cant figure out how to play Adim7 on the uke. pls help it would make my day

Hi guys!! I hope you’re all enjoying the last dregs of summer (if that’s where it is in your part of the world) I know I always say I’ll be back and never am, so I’m gonna stop saying that-I’ll just say that ideally I’ll try to post some more chord things at some point in time, and if there are any you’ve requested before that never got answered send them in again!!!! Music school and a full time job most of the summer often leave me pretty tired at the end of the day, and then I get overwhelmed with the amount of requests that have been left...for months...plus, sometimes I honestly just get stuck and frustrated if I can’t figure out a chord...hopefully if I convince myself there isn’t any pressure, I’ll transcribe more spontaneously. 

Regardless, we really appreciate the support and I don’t want this blog to die jUST YET so if you want to send in covers or something for us to feature please do! It’s 1am and I really need to go to bed now lol

Ps: the notes in brackets are telling you what’s in the base of the chord (which doesn’t help much when you’re playing uke, but I thought I’d include it). The pattern at the beginnings of phrases is called a stepwise bass pattern-it moves down note by note through the Eb major scale (that’s the key this song is in), Eb-D-C-Bb-Ab! It’s a pretty popular technique. This concludes random music theory facts you didn’t need from Mod Madi lol
