I can’t help but think of how Sasuke would turn out if he didn’t have to suffer from all that childhood trauma. Do you think his personality would be different? Maybe he would have make a lot of friends too.
That’s a very interesting topic to discuss. I think his competitive nature would still remain the same, but he would be much happier 🥺. As a child, his father gave him tough love and it made him more motivated to try his best. I think Sasuke still would have been very powerful because he always wants to do his best. In terms of personality, it’s a little difficult to predict. He wouldn’t be actively seeking vengeance of course, so I think he’ll put his effort on trying to be the best. I think he’ll still be introverted and keep to himself, but maybe he won’t shut people off.

Sasuke really does value autonomy and truthfulness so much…like he makes a point of rejecting the ideologies of the people who have hurt him in favor of his own path and values—he rejects Itachi and Orochimaru’s ruthlessness and manipulative methods, instead freeing prisoners and refusing to kill innocent people and letting the Team Taka members choose to join him. He verified the truth about the massacre with multiple people and seeks out the truth about the shinobi world and it’s history himself by asking the past hokage and coming to his own conclusion that the system needs to be changed, and he’s incredibly honest throughout the whole story—he’s flawed and he makes mistakes like any complex character but he has a lot of qualities that are worthy of respect.

Some of my thoughts on Naruto as a (kinda) intro post!
Hyperfixating on Naruto rn and wanted to try write some thoughts down. It’ll become obvious very fast that I love sasuke and believe he deserves that absolute world and will defend him until my last breath thank you 🫶
I hate the narrative of Naruto for how it treated sasuke and the Naruto ending being literllay pro-konoha and sasuke is convinced he has to “repent”?? Like what’s he repenting for? Being a victim?
Imagine growing up having witnessed the genocide of your family by the one you love the most, tortured having to watch it over 500,000 times and being told to hate and kill that person that you once loved…
I don’t understand Itachi fans who will say they don’t like sasuke for what he does and his mindset when its Itachi who manipulated and moulded him into what he is… like you don’t like his actions and that he’s the ‘villain’ (in the eyes of many fans) when itachi told him to pretty much do all this. E.g kill his closest friends (Naruto) and only focus on becoming stronger to kill him.
Sasuke had every right to attack Konoha, the overall shinobi system and those that tried to uphold it.
Disclaimer: Naruto is a show that I love and means a lot to me. I enjoy analysing characters and themes within shows so that’s what you’ll probably be seeing me do on here. I just have a problem with some of the things within the story such as certain characters and especially how the narrative portrays things. Just remember this is all fictional and it’s never that deep I just want to express my opinions if you disagree then just don’t interact with me.

Anyway idc what anyone says Sasuke is literally so loving as person, like people use his revenge as a way to be like 'nooo he was so cruel and cold blah blah blah' but it was because he loved his family so much he dedicated his life to avenging them and restoring their honor, cmon guys think at least a bit about him and his motivations before posting about it

incredible how kishimoto repeatedly asserts that naruto and itachi chose sasuke over the village, when in fact the exact opposite is true. itachi tortured him, took away his entire commmunity, tried to brainwash him. naruto's grand solution was murder-suicide and even after learning the truth about the massacre, he still wanted to be hokage and was confused by sasuke's refusal to forgive and return. they both aligned themselves with the village, but the simple act of performative love for sasuke is enough (according to kishimoto and konoha) for them to be considered exceptionally pacifistic, self-sacrificing characters who defied the village. it's such a fucked moral standard that offers zero compassion to the real victim of the situation: sasuke

Nothing make me shake my head more than seeing people criticizing Uchiha as this horrible clan who is the Worst because... it exists and feels more deeply than anyone else, I guess, but not seeing a thing about Konoha not lifting a finger for the Hyuuga problem. Like even if the Uchiha were somehow responsible for their own massacre (which is hum hum), it would still not make this village okay???
In my opinion, The Uchiha clan had a strong sense of awareness about how Konoha’s leadership viewed them. The second Hokage gave them a small amount of “authority” when he created the Police Force, but the police force operated in isolated places in the village. Also, they weren’t put in any significant or influential positions in the Konoha government. Other clans didn’t have to deal with the government intensely trying to suppress them. As long as their leadership complied with the Konoha government, those clans could get away with a lot of things. Ex: hyuga clan slavery.
Not only did the government brainwash the people with the stupid ‘Will of Fire’ narrative, but many people who watch Naruto seem to fall for that crap too. They fall for the ‘Uchiha’s were evil’. Meanwhile, the government were trying to suppress them to the point where they had no choice but to rebel.
When I first watched Naruto and Shippuden, I always sympathized with Sasuke. Then I joined the online fandom to find that the majority of the fandom hated him, I was perplexed.

Sasuke and Neji could of had such an interesting dynamic. Imagine the conflict of their contrasting yet similar ideologies while having a sense of understanding with their mutual experiences of oppression and discrimination. They both had a strong desire for justice and they both rightfully deserved it ugh

Can we talk about how Sakura and SasuSaku stans turn a blind eye whenever Sakura harasses Sasuke but then they are quick to call out Naruto for harassment??? Whenever Sakura does it, it‘s only “simping” like your last post. They literally drag Sasuke for not reciprocating Sakura’s feelings!
They know the meaning of harassment when it happens to their fave.
There is a huge difference between simping and harassment. For example, I absolutely simp for the K-pop group, Ateez. I have all their albums and I have seen them in concert. That is not an issue. However, some delusional people were stalking their cars and they even put tracking devices on their cars. One of the members had to kindly ask the fans to respect their privacy. That’s not simping, that’s delusion and harassment. It’s okay to have crushes. If Sakura respected boundaries, no one would have an issue. He rejected her multiple times and she still continued to persist. It’s so sad how her obsession hindered her personal growth.
If you were in love with someone, you would want to know a lot of things about them. I would want to find out more about the Uchiha clan and how it affected Sasuke. Instead, when Sasuke was leaving the village, she made it about her. Umm… he’s going through a lot. His clan was killed and he’s been introduced to new power that’s affecting his body!! He isn’t thinking about how much you love him. He doesn’t care how much you love him. If she truly had feelings for him she would understand the pain the village brought him and she would never beg Naruto to bring him back.

Pls I was scrolling through reddit and then I saw this.
They can see how Sasuke “mistreats” Sakura but they don’t see the blatant harassment he went through. They reduced the harassment as “simping”! Did Sakura herself make this reddit post? Lol
The one thing that fanbase has is the audacity and the entitlement. That girl crosses so many boundaries, constantly clings onto him, etc. Every time he says no, she refuses to give up. Sasuke doesn’t owe her any respect. He doesn’t have to be nice to her. It’s crazy because we all watched the same anime and we saw how depressed Sasuke was. He’s been traumatized and the last thing he needs is an obsessed girl who can’t control her feelings.
He wasn’t mean enough. He should have been meaner. He was actually nice to her. He protected her on missions even when she was unbearable to be around. Also, when did he “scare her with his curse mark?” Isn’t she supposed to be a ninja? If she’s easily scared she should have went with a different profession.

I don’t know how anyone can watch 500+ episodes of Naruto and conclude that Naruto only saw Sasuke as a friend or brother.

I’m Pro-Uchiha but I absolutely despise Madara and Obito……mainly Madara.
I think when most people say Pro Uchiha, it’s justice for the innocent people who’s lives were taken because of greed and corruption. It’s also in support of Sasuke, who is the true victim. I don’t like Madara either and I think Obito had the worst excuse to turn evil. Itachi…..😒😒
