the video of the full set was a little too long to post but here’s a clip of my 2-3x per week conditioning workout. one full set is 3 burpees, 6 push presses, 9 front or zercher squats, and 12 deadlifts (all with the same weight). rinse and repeat.

typically i do this conditioning session 1) with 75lb on a barbell and 2) as a 20 minute AMRAP (as many reps as possible) but because my shoulder is still recovering from a minor dislocation, 52lb with kettlebells is a bit safer. i only did 6 sets total, rather than going for 20min, because i’m definitely out of practice and need to not push too hard.

this is a great overall strength and endurance boosting system, as it promotes explosive and cohesive movement in all the large muscle groups that full-body athletics require. it sucks no matter how light the weight is or how few reps i do, because if the work is easier it makes me want to push harder. that way, i always end up the same amount of tired
