on commenting on older fics: honestly, I at times think the people who comment are the only people who read the fic. Or, in other words, if the last comment is from January 26th (in the case of Dean's problem), I assume nobody has read the fic since then. So in that sense, comments are always extremely appreciated and there is nothing weird about commenting on something you enjoyed that isn't "recent"! I feel like if a person is truly over a fic and doesn't want to read comments, they'd orphan it. Even if someone is over a ship etc, I feel like they would still love to know that something they worked hard on moved or touched someone in some way. In that sense: I don't think anyone is ever mad or annoyed about getting a comment :')

i just wanted to drop by and say i absolutely love your fic on ao3 "But that's Dean's problem". i read it a few weeks ago and ever since can't stop reading it. i know it was posted 3 yrs ago, so sorry if it might be weird that im talking about it rn lol. i just absolutely love the idea of a fem jack kline and how down right pervy and a little misogynistic dean gets about him. and don't get me started on sam feels about jack
