BROOKE MADDOX:
She can see it in his eyes after he steals a quick glimpse at her from between her legs – he’s not sorry. Not in the least bit. Even his smirk indicates it, too. “No, you’re not–” she chews on the inside of her cheek, suppressing a gentle chuckle. She’s genuinely amused. However, her amusement doesn’t last long. She’s taken captive by something else – her pleasure. Tyler’s a great kisser. So, it’s not all that surprising when he’s an even more excellent pussy eater. Brooke can barely keep her sanity together. She’s melting like a popsicle underneath the heat of his mouth. She’s practically falling apart at the seams, as her arousal leaks between her legs, and onto the bedsheets. As well as, down his chin. “Oh my god!” Brooke curses and squirms, while she reaches down to fist Tyler’s hair in her hand. It’s a matted mess between her fingertips when she wriggles underneath him. “That feels…..ugh goddd, it feels so good, don’t stop—” she pleads, while bucking her hips up against his face. She was going to cum at any moment. She could feel the build up spreading through her stomach like wildfire, making her legs shake and her pussy convulse in his mouth. “Tyl–er!” Her voice breaks while his name echoes in the room and, she all but comes apart in his mouth, shaking like a damn leaf. “Oh my god… oh my god…oh my god….” she repeats, chanting the words out loud while so clearly out of breath.
;
She was right, he wasn’t sorry for ripping her panties if it meant he could wrap her legs around his head. Her pussy felt so warm on his lips, he didn’t want to leave it. He’d eaten pussy before but never like this. He never found himself this addicted to someone. For years after the orphanage, he’d only cared about himself. He was selfish and cold but between her thighs, he’d changed. “God baby,” his fingers glide across her stomach, leaving a sticky trail up to her bra. Her chest was the only thing left covered, but not for long. He pulled her lace cups down and grabbed onto her boobs with both hands. She felt so full under his fists and her nipples were hard like small pebbles between his fingers. “Mm, ride my face, just like that.” She was getting more into it and Tyler was encouraging her confidence. With every buck of her hips, he let out another satisfied groan and would occasionally look up with a glossed smile before licking his lips. “Cum all over my face, pretty girl..” he begged with his mouth wrapped around her aroused clit, lashing around with his tongue. He didn’t want to let go as he rolled her nipples gently while panting down on her pussy. The bed was soaked and he even took a moment to lick the cum off her thighs. “I thought you looked beautiful before, but you are so sexy after you’ve cum.” he whispered into her cunt before trailing kisses up her stomach to her chest and then her neck. With a hand tucked behind her back, he unsnapped her bra and dragged it down her stomach while peppering kisses across her shoulder. “I have condoms if you want to—?” he was still breathing heavily as he sat between her legs and reached into his luggage for a box of magnums. Near them was an old polaroid camera his foster mom gave him. It was the same one she used when she met her husband in France. “Ever see one of these?” Tyler lifted the camera up and placed it onto her stomach. “When my foster mom met her husband, this was hers and she documented all their dates. I guess she was hoping I would do the same.” This was technically their attempt at a first-time for the one billionth time, so he wasn’t expecting them to get too kinky, but Tyler’s urges were different than a lot of other guys his age. Vanilla sex was kind of a foreign thing to him. He’d never made love to anyone before. In that sense, he was still a virgin.

BROOKE MADDOX:
It was hard to imagine that he was real. How could someone so dashing and so beautiful looking, also be so smart? Usually, human kind didn’t get both traits. They either got one or the other. Yet, Tyler’s genes were like a Greek God’s. Handsome, enchanting, and enthralling all at once. In addition to his mouth peppering kisses down her stomach, Brooke felt his thumb put slight pressure on her clit. She was already so hot, so wet and so aching. For weeks they’ve teased each other. Even attempted to have sex multiple times but during the last time, Brooke had a hard time stretching herself out to accommodate him. She’s been practicing with a new vibrator ever since, as he was much bigger than what she was used to. Both in length and in size. Even her mouth had to unhinge its jaw like a snake’s, in order to give him a full blowjob. She’d do it again though in a heartbeat. “Tylerrr—-“ Brooke whined, writhing as his breath ghosted over her pelvic bone and he trailed kisses along her inner thigh, teasing her patience by toying with where she craved his mouth most—- between her thighs, spread over her warm, pussy. “Oh my god, please — please—- please—-“ she begged, while rolling her hips upwards toward his mouth. The last time he tasted her, she remembered how good it felt and how shy she’d been. But, this time she was begging for it. She was impatient as she bucked her hips to and fro, accidentally bumping his nose in the process with her pelvis while she tried to shift closer to his mouth. The anticipation building inside of her, was killing her and now her heat was sweltering under his bated breath. She was almost embarrassed by how hot and wet she was, desperate for his mouth over her clit. She eventually aided him in moving her panties to the side, holding them captive there while she reached down for one of his hands and brought it to her lips. She sucked feverishly on one finger, moaning around the salty, sweet taste. He hadn’t even gotten a lick of her yet and already she was losing her mind because of him. She just knew he’d drive her wild when the time inevitably came and thus, she wasn’t exactly prepared for it.
;
Once again, they were caught up in a moment of insufferable heat. This had been a common occurrence since they met, only this time they were alone and in a foreign country. The only two people that could interrupt them were downstairs making drinks for their night out. “Brooke...” Tyler moaned into the crevice of her thigh, his breath was hot and moist against her skin. He’d been french kissing the corner of her swollen pussy for awhile when she brought his hand up to her mouth. “Fuck...” She was killing him as she took his fingers into her little mouth while he gasped and moaned into her heat. It was clear she had enough teasing when she pulled her soaking wet panties to the side so he could finally see her glistening. Brooke had one of the cutest pussies he’s ever seen. She was small and tight and her arousal made her pink. He could literally eat her out all night without complaint. She wouldn’t even have to return the favor, he’d cum just by making her squirt all over his full lips. “How can you be so shy when you’re so hot?” he wondered, moaning his thoughts out loud. In an effort to see more of her, he clasped her panties between his teeth and with his other hand he tore them from her hips. They might’ve been expensive, but he told himself he’d take her shopping around France for all the cute and sexy lingerie they could find. At this point, it would benefit them both. “Mm, sorry, pretty eyes.” His smirk, however, was a bit devilish. He wasn’t sorry at all. How could he be? Her pussy was just waiting to be devoured and he skipped any further foreplay when he leaned in to sample a taste. His moans were warm and erratic as he slid into her with his tongue before circling her clit and then drawing her into his mouth. She was already dripping but he loved it. After guiding one of her knees above his shoulder, he grabbed onto her neck for support. He didn’t apply enough pressure to hurt her, just enough to explore. “You got me so hard, I could leave a hole in this bed.” He growled between her thighs while his lips wrapped around her. “You taste so good.” He paused to lick his lips, as they were already glossed over. After a moment of grinding his pelvis into the bed, Tyler had to reach down to adjust himself. He couldn’t stand it being bunched up for a second longer. He was way too big and hard. He could feel a prominent vein throbbing as he pulled himself through the zipper of his jeans. As his dark eyes looked up, he taunted her with a smile before licking her nice and slow, like the side of a cone leaking ice cream.

BROOKE MADDOX:
She’d waited days, hours, minutes and seconds to feel those lips on hers again. Every time he licked them in front of her, she would cross her legs in the hopes of warding off her arousal. It never worked. Therefore, she simply wanted to give herself over to it now. Perhaps, that’s why she nodded and lifted her arms, letting him peel off her shirt and reveal the lacy bra underneath, barely covering her full breasts. Normally, she’d opt to cover herself afterwards. Even for a girl with as much confidence as Brooke, she could be irresistibly shy. She didn’t feel comfortable while laying half naked and vulnerable. But, in Tyler’s presence the idea of it, seemed entirely less scary.
Lips now swollen from their kiss, Brooke rolled them together in a hum, craning her neck to give Tyler as much access to her skin as possible. Every kiss he left on her skin felt as if it lit her entire body on fire. She was practically writhing with want underneath of him, as her own hands mirrored his gesture and pushed the shirt he was wearing up his torso, revealing the abs and tattoos underneath. Brooke loved each and every one because they told her a story about him. From his first one to the one that hurt the most. To the many more that were likely to come in future years. She was curious about where they came from. She wanted to know how or when or why he chose them to wear forever. “This one,” Brooke traced the black marking on Tyler’s bicep, before leaning up to kiss where her finger had been. “Tell me about it.” While her hands located his, she encouraged him to multi task, to tell her while he worked on ridding her of her jeans. She gave him some assistance and a head start by pulling down the zipper and lifting her hips off the bed to make the process of removal easier. This kind of initiative should’ve been proof enough that she wanted him. That she craved him. There was little room for interruption here. Well, except for Nate and Cassie but Brooke was sure they had their own catching up to do. “Can you feel that?” Brooke breathed, once her pants were off and she’d guided Tyler’s hand between her legs, over the heat radiating there, masked behind a thin layer of more matching lace. “This is how hot and wet you make me. Just by tasting those lips. Even looking at them…. I almost can’t breathe.” There were many things about him that made her weak in the knees but his mouth was probably the biggest one. She dreamed about tasting it, fantasized about feeling it, and needed it over every part of her skin. “God,” She gasped, as her hands cupped his cheeks and she smashed her lips to his.
;
As her breasts fell behind a lacy bra, Tyler tossed her shirt onto the bed and took a minute to admire her body. Brooke was the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen and he hoped by the end of tonight, she’d see it too. “Pretty eyes, pretty lips, pretty thighs, pretty hips.” he whispered against her mouth in between kisses. His words weren’t spoken on the spot, but written in his book in the beginning of a poem. He wrote it the night they laid in bed together and got each other off without ever touching. They were so chaste then, but not now. As Brooke rolled the edges of his shirt up, Tyler lifted his arms and laughed as she stretched to get it off. He was much taller than her, therefore it took her a lot more effort to undress him. “You like my tattoos?” He mused, watching the way her baby browns lit up upon seeing them. He was always a little embarrassed about them because no one else in Riverbanks had any. Her boyfriend looked like a Spanish Ken Barbie doll. He had perfectly gelled hair, expensive collared shirts, and a clean shave. For awhile, he thought that might be her type, which was a far cry from him. Tyler was scruffy, disheveled, and had more tattoos than some of the Serpents. “I got that tattoo to cover a scar. You can see it if you look close enough,” he moaned, rolling his lips as she kissed his arm. She was so soft and tender. He always thought of himself as the kind of guy who could only get off if the sex was rough and fast, but she was bringing out a whole new side to him. “It means humility. It’s called Dwennimmen.” It was a symbol of horns butting together. He got it to remind himself that he should remain humble, no matter what he’s up against, which was something he’d been struggling with since he got to Riverbanks.
After removing her jeans, Tyler allowed her to guide his hand between her warm thighs. His fingers rubbed across the outside of her panties before he slid his thumb over her clit. He could feel how swollen and moist she was and he wanted to make her cum in her lace before taking it off. “You’re burning up...” he groaned before moving his face between her breasts and kissing his way down to her stomach. They’ve tried to make love before and he was too big. He wasn’t sure how far they were going to go tonight, but he knew he wanted to taste her pussy on his tongue again. “I promise to give my lips back to you soon. I just want to taste you down here.” he begged, french kissing her inner thigh while rubbing her clit in circles. “You know, I could see you with a tattoo... Maybe here?” he breathed against her hip, looking up into her eyes with a smile before licking her.

BROOKE MADDOX:
Her expression appeared hopeful at first, waiting with bated breaths for him to respond yes, that she could keep it. But when he denied her request, she gave a little extra pout, and soon got swept up in the swipe of his tongue over his lips. She noticed he wet them a lot and it got to her every time. So much so, she had to shift underneath him, just to distract herself from the heat pooling between her thighs. If she were to reach down and touch herself right now, she was almost certain she’d find that she was wet. It didn’t help that he baited her with an almost kiss, too. “Hmm,” she hummed, while her fingers glided blindly down his chest, between their sweltering bodies. Even through his shirt, his skin felt hot to the touch. “If I answer your question, I’m requesting a kiss after.” It was non-negotiable, and Brooke’s way of telling him that he didn’t have to be so shy or hold back from wanting her. She came with him on this trip because she wanted to. She was here, because she was willing to risk it all in order to find out what was happening between them. “I’ve sent a topless pic to Jake once or twice but never full nude.” Afraid he was going to get turned off by the admission, Brooke bent her knees and wrapped them around his waist, hooking her arms around his neck too. “Can I be honest?” Perhaps, opening up to him would make him feel comfortable doing the same. Even though, he’d already revealed something vulnerable to her, with the picture. “I’ve never actually felt comfortable standing naked in front of anyone. Sure, yeah, I’ve had sex with people but, it just feels… I don’t know? Weird, standing in front of someone naked. No one’s ever really bothered to admire my body. Granted, I also haven’t let them until now.” After letting go of his neck, Brooke dropped her arms back down to her sides and looked up at his face for any hint of reaction. “I let you see me naked. And I’d do it again because I trust you. Even though, I don’t really know you. I think that says something about you.”
;
Hearing her ask for a kiss made his stomach tighten and flutter. It was always the simple things that made his muscles weak and his nerves shaky. After everything he’s been through, how was this small, blonde cheerleader from Riverbanks able to make him feel hopefulness again? After just a few short months, she’d disarmed so many barricades, taken down so many walls. There was that little voice in the back of his head constantly screaming for him to run away, to save himself from the crippling depression he’ll likely face when this all falls apart. He wasn’t naïve enough to believe this would ever last. She was smart, beautiful, and cultured. Girls like her don’t end up with boys like him. No matter how hard he tried, he’ll never be a suitable bachelor. He was going to end up in prison or an early grave while she marries someone like Jake. They’d have a big house and lots of babies. She’d forget all about him, chalk it up to another teenage phase. Yet, if their conversations should have taught him anything, it’s that she wasn’t simple. Brooke Maddox was an enigma. She’d sent a nude, but only to her boyfriend, and only of her chest. She was gorgeous, he would have thought she’d be more confident and feel more sexy. Even without her admission, it was clear to him that no one had ever given her the kind of attention she deserved. “Really?” He breathed down onto her lips, blinking with a smile as her honey brown eyes looked back. “But you’re so beautiful.” There were tons of blondes around Riverbanks, all with nice bodies and expensive clothing, but there was something about Brooke that stood out, that kept her apart. It was the way she moved, the way she smiled, and laughed. Her beauty was more than just skin-deep. She had a beautiful soul. Fuck, he was really falling in love with her, wasn’t he? God dammit, Tyler. “You’ve earned yourself a kiss.” He whispered, leaning in to brush her lips. Everything was slow and soft. He took his time breathing against her mouth and smiling when she’d lean into it. “Let me admire your body?” he moaned, finally pressing his lips against her. With a light suckling, he detached from her bottom lip and pressed his warm mouth to her neck and then her collarbone. Meanwhile his hands moved into her shirt and over her stomach and waist. He wanted to show her what it felt like to be loved. To be desired for more than lust. He wanted to possess her in ways far beyond sex. “Trust yourself with me.” his fingers tangled in her shirt, attempting to lift it over her head so that he could continue kissing his way down her neck and chest. He wanted to taste every inch of skin, leave every bit of her wet and aching.

BROOKE MADDOX:
The hand on her stomach made her tummy do flips. He had just as much of an affect on her as she did him. “Please?” she pouted again, refusing to give up. She could be very persistent when she wanted to be. Of course, it evidently paid off because he finally relented, flipping her back over onto her back. Brooke didn’t mind this new position, or the deliberate thrust Tyler issued between her legs. It pulled a satisfied hum from between her lips as she raised the picture above her face to have a look at it. It took her a minute to figure out which little boy was Tyler. But, once she did, she couldn’t help it. She laughed. Yet, only because ordering her not to, made her want to all that much more and also, he was just so cute! – she couldn’t control her own reaction. “Wait, wait!” She propped her hands against his pecs as she felt him rise up for the attack, while still holding onto the picture in her hand. “I’m not laughing at you. I honestly, think you’re just so cute. I wanna keep this. You look so innocent here.” Not that he didn’t look innocent now. But, Tyler certainly glowed up. He went from a skinny, little orphan kid to a full-fledged, chiseled, bad boy. Brooke was interested in the evolution of this photo. And Tyler as a person. “Yellow’s my favorite color.” Even if it wasn’t, after seeing Tyler in the yellow ranger suit, it now would be.
;
“You lied!” he laughed while trying to grab the picture back. There wasn’t a hint of betrayal in his voice or actions as he pinned her down and wrestled with her above the bed. Tyler couldn’t hold anything against her. The picture was funny. Which, is probably why he hung onto it for so long. It never failed to bring a smile across his face. The uneven haircut, the crooked tooth and lanky build behind a costume that was too small for a boy. It was the kind of photo a mother would show a son’s girlfriend. Tyler didn’t have a mother though, so this was the closest to that experience he’d ever get. “You want it?” He smiled, shaking his head while licking his lips above her mouth. “Hmm,” he pretends to think about it for a moment. “Absolutely not.” There was no way he’d hand over this much blackmail. Except, he actually would and planned to. Brooke was special to him. She was spring after seventeen years of winter. There was nothing he wouldn’t give to her. “I’ll tell you what, pretty eyes... You can have the picture after we explore the caves together. Deal?” Leaning in with a smile, he brushes her nose with his. He wanted a kiss but was afraid to ask for one. Usually Tyler was the type to pull down a girl’s panties and entice them into a kiss, but he cared about Brooke in a way that went beyond a moment. He didn’t want to cross any lines or overstep any boundaries. Yet, his groin was still pushed up against her with a boner. He poked her with it as he placed his hand around her wrist and guided the picture to her lips, tracing over each curve with the corner of the polaroid. “...You also have to answer my question now... Have you ever sent anyone a naughty picture of yourself?” He wanted one. A polaroid he could keep under his pillow. Something special, just for him. And there just so happen to be a camera inside his luggage. A gift from the McKenzie’s to document his trip.

BROOKE MADDOX:
“Don’t deflect,” she teased, in between a kittenish murmur. “I’ll answer your questions after you answer mine.” The promise was issued with a roll of her hips. Probably not a good idea considering, he was already hard beneath her. Brooke could feel his arousal protruding against his jeans, now pressed closely against her clothed heat. The air around them was beginning to stiffen and feel hot and constricting. Brooke knew it had less to do with the temperature of the room and more so to do with them creating that friction between them. “Will it help if I promise not to laugh?” She wouldn’t anyway, especially after seeing how hesitant he was to share. Brooke didn’t ever want to make him feel regretful for opening up to her. “Plus, it’s only fair.” She was referring to her secret weapon. Tyler was using his against her too. – His glorious, sinful tongue. Brooke knew how it felt between her legs and she’d be lying if she said, she didn’t wish to feel it again. As a result, her body naturally reacted by shifting above him, grinding desperately at the thought. “You have a secret weapon too. And you’re using it against me right now.” Brooke refused to say what it was but, Tyler was smart. She was confident, he could figure it out. “But yes, I’ll follow you on your spooky adventure through the nerdy caves. I trust you’ll protect me from anything creepy or crawly we might discover on our way. I don’t bugs or bats. Or even rats.” The fact that, she was considering doing this at all, said a lot about how much she liked him. That she was willing to put up with all three things just to see that cheerful glimmer return to his gorgeous, hazel eyes. They could make any girl swoon and Brooke knew they have. All her cheermates were obsessed with him. Their pretty bad boy. Brooke might’ve guiltily told a few of them, he was gay. Just so they wouldn’t try to get with him in her absence. She might’ve had a boyfriend but, she never really liked to share. And she was weirdly possessive over Tyler. “Now, can I see?” Brooke held out her hand, palm facing up and motioned for him to lay it down.
...
What was she doing! She can’t roll her hips like that while he’s envisioning images of her naked. It was that final thrust that pulled a clear gasp from his lips, “Mmmph!” It was a little embarrassing how hard he’d gotten. His erection was so hot he could feel it burning against his inner thigh. It didn’t help that her own heat was radiating through his jeans as well. There was so much friction, he felt himself leaking. “But, you didn’t ask any questions. You just want to see this picture and...it’s embarrassing. It’s a picture of me, as a power ranger when I’m, like, eight.” There, is that what she wanted? She could now imagine it. As for getting to see it, actually? He still wasn’t so sure about that. “Ugh— Brooke.” Tyler lifted a hand as she began moving her hips again. To slow her movements, he placed his hand below her stomach. Though, that only seemed to make matters worse. Her body was tight and toned and he’d been dreaming about her riding him for weeks. The amount of times he jerked off to fantasies of her in bed would scare her away. He was obsessed, and that wasn’t like him. “The caves are not nerdy.” he argued playfully, before gripping her hips with both hands. He rolled them over and fell between her legs. In this position, he was able to have a little more control. Or, so he thought. Instead of her grinding against him, he was now the one initiating the friction. He couldn’t give it up. His hips moved against her, attempting to play it off as nothing more than innocent wrestling. “Just know, no one has ever seen this before. As soon as Sister Abby pinned it to the wall on Halloween, I ripped it down and have been hiding it ever since.” Way out of his comfort zone, Tyler placed the photo facedown on her chest. He couldn’t look at her face, so he hid his eyes under her boobs. “If I hear you laughing, you’re dead.”

BROOKE MADDOX:
His weight on top of her was welcomed. So much so, Brooke spread her legs a little so Tyler could lay between them as he pinned her smaller frame to the bed. She couldn’t get a word out before she felt him tickling her sides and making her squirm. Their minor wrestling had shaken a few secrets loose. Particularly the photo that fell out of Tyler’s bag and he then to prevent her from sneaking a peek. His desperation to hide what was in it, only made her want to view it that much more. So, after he finally rolled over onto his back, Brooke took the liberty of straddling his waist. She told herself it was innocent as she tried to keep him pinned underneath her. Although, he was much stronger, so if he wanted to, he could flip her back over without much effort at all. “Please, please, pleaseeeee!” Brooke bashed her long lashes, trying to sway Tyler into giving in by flashing him those pretty, brown, bedroom eyes. How could anyone resist them? Least of all, the boy secretly smitten by her.
In the meantime, Brooke hadn’t realized that in her efforts to pry the photo back, she’d unintentionally grinded on his lap. “It can’t be that bad, “ she argued. “No one snaps printed nudes anymore. We’re living in the digital age now so, at least I know you’re clothed.” And besides – Brooke had already seen him naked and he had nothing to be ashamed of. “Oh my god!” She eventually gasped, as another thought occurred to her. “Are you wearing something hideous? Okay. Now, I definitely have to see. Give it!” She continued trying to pry the photo from his hands but Tyler wouldn’t budge. At which point, Brooke knew she had to go a different route. And so she did the only thing that worked every time — she pouted. Her bottom lip puckered outward and her brown eyes twinkled through a slow blink, as if she was genuinely sad. “You don’t trust me?”
...
Tyler let out a heavy, albeit muffled grunt as Brooke straddled his hips. Instinctively, his hand slid up her waist and wrapped around the skin beneath her shirt. Meanwhile his other hand remained in the air, hiding the picture from her. It may have felt innocent to them, but if anyone else were to see the exchange, they would swear it was flirty and even a little suggestive. The way Brooke was so restlessly squirming above his lap made Tyler hard. Every grinding motion filled his erection with arousal. “It’s not a nude. I’ve never taken one. Have you?” He tried averting her attention onto another subject. Anything other than the polaroid in his hand which was now hidden behind his back, tucked between him and the mattress. “It’s way more incriminating than a picture of my junk.” Not only was Tyler dressed as a power ranger, but not even his favorite one. Instead of getting to wear the black costume, he was stuck with the yellow one. Which, if Brooke had ever seen the show, she would know that the yellow ranger was a girl. The orphanage was very low-income They had what they had, and unfortunately for Tyler’s sake, none of the adults knew, or cared, that they forced him into a costume made for little girls. “I can’t! It’s just, so embarrassing.” He was blushing again. His cheeks were hot and his hazel eyes were much brighter. These were telltale signs that he was flustered. But only a few would know that.
“I do trust you... Even though you’re using your secret weapon on me. Pouty face? You like to play dirty, huh?” he teased, curling his tongue toward the roof of his mouth with a smile. “If I show you, then you have to explore the caves with me, deal?” His tongue poked out, swiping his full lips as he adjusts himself between her legs. She was sitting on his bulge and he hoped she couldn’t tell that he was hard. His boxers were very constricting and his jeans were tight enough to keep him somewhat contained.

BROOKE MADDOX:
“To enjoy it.” That dream sounds so simple enough. And while it may be broad, it’s also the truth. “Oh really?” Her tone comes across skeptical and that’s because it is. Whether it’s an honest thrilled face or not, Brooke still finds it irresistibly handsome. There goes the butterflies again. Fluttering away in her stomach, making it twist itself into knots. She can’t control them even if she wants to. “To be fair, nobody likes Nate. Not even his girlfriend. They hate each other. But, I can’t honestly say he seems a little more calmer and tolerable around Cassie. So, there’s a plus. And anyway, we don’t have to hang out with them.” Brooke never got the chance to say it before, but she knew Tyler wasn’t thrilled about Nassie hijacking their trip. It was a necessary evil in her mind. “Look, I’m sorry for inviting them and sort of springing it on you last minute. I don’t want you to think I don’t want to hang out with you or that I can’t when we’re alone. It’s just… for me, it’s easier to keep an eye on them here than it would be there. Like you said, you don’t trust Nate and I don’t either. Gotta keep your friends close and your enemies closer and all that.” It seemed like such a silly philosophy but it was 100% true right now.
“And anyway, who are you calling a dork?” Changing the subject, Brooke poked Tyler with her finger to his stomach repeatedly. Almost in a playful way. “You’re the one talking about Pathological caves and aliens and engravings and whatever else.” Brooke’s fully aware she got the word wrong. It’s Paleolithic. But, she’s sincerely hoping Tyler doesn’t notice, or at the very least, refrains from calling her out. She’s too busy picking up the shirt he flung at her to be bothered with the technicalities anyway, as she flung it back at him with a laugh, getting a kick at how it landed on his head and made him look like he was wearing a wig. Brooke couldn’t control herself, she plopped down on the bed into sitting position and fell into a fit of hysterics.
...
He didn’t blame her for inviting along Nate and Cassie. If anything, it made the trip feel less taboo. If it were just them, there would have been a lot of pressure. What were they to each other, if not just friends? As much as he liked her, Brooke had a boyfriend. She was still very much in love with Jake. They grew up together and had been practically a thing since diapers. There was no competing with that. “It was a smart move. We probably wouldn’t have been able to relax if he was still in Riverbanks, running his mouth.” Nate had no problem making Tyler’s life a living hell. The jocks have been targeting him since he enrolled in Hillcrest. He was told joining the football team would help, but it’s only made things worse. The only upside was getting to see Brooke in her cheer uniform, jumping around and doing cartwheels on the sideline.
“Hey, cut it out—” he cracked a real, genuine smile. The kind that reaches his eyes. He was ticklish, not that anyone knew that. Well, anyone but Brooke. “Paleolithic,” He corrected her with a smirk. He wasn’t going to let her get away with pronouncing it wrong when she was teasing him for being interested in prehistory. There was something fascinating about time before time. Tyler liked to image what it might have really been like to live during prehistoric time. If that made him a geek, then yeah, he was a geek. “What?” He grabbed the shirt from his head while Brooke burst into a fit of giggles. She was adorable, he couldn’t help blushing while trying to hide the smile fighting at the corners of his lips. “Shut up!” He finally laughed, before tackling her. “Let’s see how ticklish you are.” While tickling her sides, a picture of him at the orphanage appeared under the lump of clothes he had on the bed. He was eight and dressed like a power ranger for a Halloween party they threw. Embarrassed, he tried to grab it before she could snatch it. “No, no, no!” Still laughing, he rolled over onto his back and held the picture above his head so she wouldn’t be able to reach it. “Your eyes are way too pretty to see something so horrible.”

BROOKE MADDOX:
The whole journey there, started off a little awkward. Brooke was nervous and couldn’t stop overthinking. Not many people could make her second guess herself but, Tyler was among the very few. She wanted to get him alone to get to know him better, even if inviting Nate and Cassie along, prevented that a little. Maybe, having them there acted as her safe buffer. It was easier to feel less guilty about abandoning Jake on Halloween when telling herself she was just going on a once in a lifetime trip with friends. Even though, Tyler was more than a friend. But still, less than a lover. They might’ve hooked up a couple times but, Brooke wasn’t sure that qualified a romantic relationship.
Maybe she was just trying to convince herself it didn’t mean anything, though. She didn’t want to acknowledge the way he filled her stomach with butterflies. Right now was no different, after she dropped her bags off in the room down the hall from his and tip toed to his bedroom. He caught her checking him out and instead of hiding it, Brooke played along, coming in to greet him as he unpacked. “That’s part of the dream, yes.” Brooke nodded after strolling over to inspect Tyler’s digs. He didn’t bring a whole lot with him and everything he did have was just, black on black on black. Black shirts, black pants, black boots. “You don’t seem very thrilled to be in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.” Tyler’s rare smiles were hard to pull out. Brooke could only recall seeing him flash her one once since he arrived in Riverbanks. “We should go explore, right? I mean, we’re only here for a few days. There’s plenty of time to sleep when we get back. So far, I’m not having any second thoughts. Least, I won’t if you say yes.” Brooke didn’t know about a bar, as Nate suggested. But, she supposed they could try one out and if it wasn’t their cup of tea, they could bail. She wouldn’t eventually mind taking a quiet stroll with Tyler through the cobbled streets. He was much more likely to open up when one on one.
...
“What’s the other part of the dream?” What was she missing? Being a successful fashion designer? A celebrity? Or was it being here with the man of her dreams? Tyler knew that wasn’t him. She was in love with Jake, but she was also here with him, and though it took some self-convincing, he reminded himself that she does like him. There was a part of her that was drawn to him. The part that wasn’t hunkered down by Riverbank expectations. “I am thrilled... This is my thrilled face.” He teased with a gentle rolling of his eyes. If only she knew, how different he was around other people. She got to see the rarest sides of him. The pieces he’s always kept hidden from the rest of the world. “The truth is, I really don’t like Nate. He personifies everything I hate about people. But I also understand him...He wants something,” or someone, “that’s very far from his comfort zone.” Nate wanted to be with Cassie. A sweet, helpless romantic. She was the ying to his yang, like Brooke was to Tyler’s.
“I wasn’t going to go to sleep, dork.” He laughed, tossing one of his black shirts at her face. “I just thought it would be better to settle in and hang out. But if everyone wants to explore, we can.” He was supposed to be making memories. It’s what Sarah wanted. “There is this one place I always wanted to check out but it’s closed off to the public. There’s these Paleolithic caves deep in the forest with tons of preserved engravings and paintings. Aliens, witches, wild animals... It’s supposed to be scary. And since it’s Halloween and all—?” He shrugged, wondering if she was game. It was highly illegal and who knows what the consequences would be if they were to get caught, but that was Tyler in a nutshell.

WELCOME TO FRANCE! / @brmaddox
Tyler would have preferred a quiet, lowkey getaway with Brooke in France, but in an effort to keep Nate and Cassie from creating drama in Riverbanks, they were invited to the mountains for snowboarding, hot chocolate, and a cabin all to themselves. It’s where Tyler’s foster parents met and fell in love. They were both in college and on vacation with their families. Sarah McKenzie prayed that same magic was still there, and that it would find Tyler. She could tell he was a good person, albeit a little broken. Hoping he could share a similar experience with friends, Sarah and John offered him the keys to their lodge and an AmEx credit card with no spending limit. “Make memories that will last a lifetime, Tyler.” Sarah said before kissing his cheek. She was sweet and loving, but Tyler wasn’t naïve enough to think it’ll last. It never does.
“Well, here we are.” Tyler breathed as he unlocked the door to the cabin and pushed inside. It was already 7:00 PM and the sun was down. That, accompanied with jetlag was reason enough for everyone to settle in and find something to do indoors. It was their first night here, so they didn’t have to go all out. That was Tyler’s mindset, anyway. Nate, however, didn’t know what lowkey meant. He only agreed to come because Cassie persuaded him with her gorgeous blue eyes. He was still trying to convince her she wasn’t just a piece of ass. “So who’s down for a bar?” How did he have so much energy? Meanwhile Tyler was already heading up to claim a room and be an introvert. With the exception of being around Brooke, who’s lower back he brushed with his fingertips before heading upstairs. There were two rooms upstairs and two downstairs. Tyler wanted to be upstairs because it was away from the more common areas. And he hoped Brooke would take the other which is why he was signaling for her to follow him while Nate and Cassie figure out a game plan. Though if it was up to Tyler, they’d all stay in and circle around a warm fire.
“Hey,” Tyler smiled as Brooke appeared in his doorway. He already dumped his luggage out onto the bed. He packed lighter than anyone else. All he’s ever needed or owned could fit into a backpack. “Well, you made it to France. That’s the dream, right?” That’s what she told him before. She wanted to pursue fashion and live in Paris. It was a nice dream. One Jake never liked. In fact, he was still in Riverbanks, sending her an influx of texts. “Any second thoughts?” He drew closer and brushed his hand over her cold cheek. She was absolutely breathtaking and he wished she was his to hold and kiss.

BROOKE MADDOX:
“You mean like…. on vacation?” If her smile was any indication, the answer was yes. Maybe Tyler was right, and onto something they both could benefit from – time away. To themselves. Without any watchful eyes or jealous boyfriends or drama that seemed to follow them. It seemed any time they were alone, they were happier. It was easier to get to know him without constant interruptions banging down the door or stopping them from acting on how they both felt towards each other. “Should it just be the two of us or like, …. do you want me to invite some friends?” Brooke could think of a few people to tag along. Maddy and Beth for starters, who already knew about Tyler and wouldn’t say anything or interrupt. Maddy only did before because Jake showed up looking for her. “We could go next weekend. Leave Thursday, come home Sunday. If you trust me, I’ll plan the whole thing. That way you can tell the McKenzies not to worry. You’re making friends and you’ll have a whole set of them in no time. Not sure you know this but I… can be very persuasive when I want to be.” She was the Mayor’s daughter, after all. She knew how to charm her way anywhere.
/
“Uhm, just, the two of us...” If that was okay with her. He didn’t want anymore distractions and her friends were definitely drama. Brooke may not have picked up on it yet but Tyler has. The northside has proven to be more treacherous than the southisde. There was no sense of loyalty or camaraderie. Her best friend Maddy was just sucking on her boyfriend’s cock, unbeknownst to either one of them. “It could be just, like, a way for us to have some alone time. Together.” That is if she could get away from Jake. What would he say about her disappearing for a weekend? And how would they keep Nate from spilling their dirty little secret while they’re gone? “You sure you want to take all that on?” Honestly, Tyler was impressed. He thought everyone around here had people for this and that. Brooke however, was a go-getter. It was one of the many reasons why he liked her so much. She wasn’t your typical, spoiled valley girl despite coming off as one from time to time. “Why don’t I give you a ride home, we can talk more about it on the way?” Tyler was done with the party and the people. The only problem is Jake would be waiting for her. Unlike Tyler, she had ties here. It’s like they said, this was her world. She couldn’t break away from it all as easily as he can.

BROOKE MADDOX:
Had anyone else been standing here, listening to him rant, the way Tyler just described Nate is how everyone here, saw him. The new kid might’ve been fostered into money but, at his core – he was still an irredeemable, southside animal. He didn’t belong. Yet, that’s not how Brooke saw him. And she hated that everyone judged him before they even gave him a chance. “Listen,” she sighed, dropping her hold on his arm to cup his waist instead. Those pretty brown eyes of hers looked up at him and shimmered, even in the pitch black, darkness. “It’s complicated between us. But no,” she shook her head. “No, I don’t regret it.” Up until this point, Brooke had been wrestling with herself over that. She knew she should’ve said yes. Not because she felt that way but because, she shouldn’t get involved with him while she was still dating Jake. It just – it wasn’t fair to either one of them. “What happened, or almost happened, it’s like… I can’t stop it. I know that I should. You and I – we’re from entirely different worlds. You said it yourself. But, I just – I don’t feel like anyone else gets me the way you do, you know? And I know that sounds crazy because you barely even know me but, I’m also just so scared that you’re going to leave. I know it’s not the easiest thing, getting along with the people here. And I hope you know how much I’m risking just being here, talking to you right now. Because, Nate will tell Jake. He’ll tell the whole entire school and make my life absolutely hell. Yours too.”
Like a cool breeze on a hot summer day, relief rushes over him. It feels good ( calming ) to know she doesn’t regret what happened on the yacht. He wasn’t sure what he would have done if she never wanted to see him again. They may not have intended to fall for each other, but that’s exactly what happened. Tyler couldn’t get her out his head, she was all he thought about. He’s never felt this way before and it was driving him nuts. “No, I — it’s, it’s not crazy. I feel the same way, too. We have a connection, a strong one, and I’ve never felt anything like it before. It has nothing to do with...unfinished business.” This wasn’t all about finishing what they started at the bar that night. It wasn’t about sex at all. He has real feelings for her and it’s scary. It’s why his hands are shaking right now as he keeps them tucked into the pockets of his bomber jacket. “It’s a risk for both of us. If I get into any trouble here, make any more enemies, I’ll be sent to jail. I’m on probation. If this doesn’t work out, I’m screwed. I’m not...taking this lightly. Trust me, I don’t want to cause you any trouble either.” His lungs fill with a deep breath before exhaling slowly. “I think we owe it to ourselves to explore...whatever this is. But in a way that’s not going to get us in trouble. Right?” It was obvious there was some planning going on in his head; something he’s been thinking about for awhile now. His foster mom suggested he take some friends skiing in France; she thought it would help welcome him into their society. Everyone here was born and raised together — bred through cotillions and debutante balls. There was no room for outsiders. So it was important for Tyler to look like he belongs. “My, uh, — the McKenzies — they have this cabin in Les Airelles. They said I could use it to, like, make friends. I guess that’s what people around here do... Would you... I don’t know, be interested in going with me?”

BROOKE MADDOX:
Brooke winced at the hurled insults from Nate. She wasn’t bored with Jake. And she didn’t want Tyler to think that, because whether she cared to admit it or not – she actually liked him. Which was all the more reason why she looked to him when the words came out of Nate’s mouth, to gauge his reaction and see whether or not he was questioning the same things himself. By the looks and sounds of it, when he finally spoke up – that wasn’t the case. Then again, nothing he really said told her how he felt. He was being sensible and rational, unlike the rest of them. He made a good argument, one that Nate didn’t buy but Cassie understood. Even if her mind was now whirling from the confession Nate let slip about him loving her. He claimed she was different. “Cass,” Brooke pleaded, feeling her heart sink into her stomach as Tyler left the boat. She knew she had to go after him but first, she was begging Cassie to hear her out. Nate was a lost cause. He got off on ruining other people’s lives. And of course, he’d side with Jake… who he didn’t even really like over her. Because they were football buddies and somehow that meant Jake got his loyalty more so than Brooke. “Please, don’t say anything. And I promise I won’t say anything to Maddy. You know she’d be crushed. Imagine how you would feel.” Brooke’s eyes smoldered as they shifted from Cassie to Nate. She hoped Cassie would be on her side so Brooke wouldn’t have to ruin a friendship. She was banking on it at least, when she lifted her clothes off the ground and took off after Tyler. He was taller, which meant he dominated faster strides. Brooke was slightly out of breath by the time she caught up to him on the beach and curled her fingers around his arm, urging him to hold on a minute. “Where are you going? Are you just, gonna leave now? I hope you didn’t buy what he said. About me, being bored with Jake and that’s why I’m with you. I mean, you don’t right?”
/
In a way, Nate never liked Brooke. She was always just Jake’s girlfriend. They never really hung out one on one or without Jake being there. And as possessive as Nate is— no one was more insecure and jealous than Jake Fitzgerald. If someone were to so much as look at Brooke the wrong way, he’d make their life a living hell. Which is why Nate knew Jake would murder Tyler and dump Brooke on the spot. He could now ruin her entire life with three little words. Tyler fucked Brooke. In fact, the bloody condom was still on the bedroom floor. When Nate finds it later he’ll make the assumption that Tyler was fucking the hell out of her, probably for hours on end. Jake would be able to tell because her pussy will still be sore if Nate gets to him fast enough. Nate knew all about it because he was also an aggressive fuck. Choking, fingers down the mouth, loud, feral, thunderous thrusts from behind. He learned everything he knew from his father’s tapes. “Fuck that bitch, Cassie. She’s not trustworthy.” Nate cracked his neck, frustration clear in the tightness of his muscles.
Tyler could relate as he stalked off, feeling just as tense. Nate was going to ruin his life, and Brooke probably regretted everything that happened between them on the boat. He wasn’t expecting for her to chase after him at all. So when she did, he slowed down and winced, wondering why he couldn’t read her the way he can others. Why didn’t she leave him? Everyone else does. “You.... You came back.” This was a turning point for him. The realization of her being different was clear on his face and in his eyes, which softens in color. Not as dark, like they were when he was staring Nate down. They were greener, almost earthy. “No...I didn’t. Nate has a habit of stirring up trouble. I know his kind, he may look like a abercrombie model from an affluent family, but he has the mind and instinct of a southside criminal.” He only left because he didn’t want to cause any more trouble for her. “Do you.... regret what happened— or almost happened?” It kind of did, but it also kind of didn’t...happen. Depending on her answer, he had a suggestion in mind. A way for them to have a little more privacy, away from all the drama and distractions that come with being a northsider.

BROOKE MADDOX:
“Don’t do anything rash,” Cassie whispered to Nate, in attempt to quell his inner demon. She didn’t know Brooke all that well. In fact, Brooke was closer to Maddy than she was Cassie but, being that they were sneaking around too, in some ways.. Cassie could relate to Brooke. And she owed it to her to at least hear her out. Besides, Cassie was a lot more level headed than Nate. She didn’t seek to destroy someone unless they did so to her, first.
“No. It’s not. Everything’s not fine. We shouldn’t have come here…” Brooke confirmed, hands shaking as she combed her fingers through her blonde tresses. She knew she’d have to grovel in order to get Nate to keep his mouth shut. Jake couldn’t find out about this. Because, Nate was right. He would kill Tyler if he found out. Or at the very least, he’d find more ways to make his life miserable until he crawls back to the southside, where he arguably belongs. Brooke didn’t agree with that but, it wouldn’t really matter what she had to say. Jake would hate her, too. And despite her actions proving otherwise, she really did love him. It was never her intention to hurt him. “What are you talking about??” After taking a moment to calm herself down, and control her breathing, Brooke finally locked gazes with Tyler, sending him furrowed brows. She didn’t recognize what Tyler did, because she hadn’t been paying close enough attention either time. “You mean, Maddy? Yeah, he’s dating Maddy. The darker haired girl from the bar.” Tyler met her, briefly. Sort of. “You think he’s cheating on Maddy with Cassie?” Maybe Tyler was right, and he was onto something. “I guess there’s only one way to find out. Put something on. Our clothes are upstairs.” Brooke threw Tyler a towel and waited until he was covered up before she sprinted up the stairs to the top deck. Just in time to catch Nate caressing Cassie’s cheek and the blonde gearing up to lean in for a kiss. “What’s this about us being rich? Pot calling the kettle black, Nate.” Brooke narrowed both brows and watched with a laugh as Cassie attempted to jump back. Too late. “Guess, we’re not the only ones with the same bright idea. What would Maddy think? The same as Jake, I’d assume. So, if you even breathe a word about this to him or to anyone, I will tell her everything. And which are they more likely to believe? On top of that, which do you think is more likely to hurt worse? Least, I have the decency to avoid his best friend.” Jake’s best friend being Stu…. which, ew gross. Brooke would rather chew off her own arm than ever touch any small part of Stu’s disgusting, lanky body.
/
There it was — ‘we shouldn’t have come here ’ — Tyler knew she’d regret this. The difference in their energy was palpable. They were no longer on cloud nine, but descending into a state of anxiety and regret. If Tyler hadn’t shifted the focus onto Nate and Cassie’s elicit affair, he was sure their remaining minutes would have unfolded into a argument. Brooke needed somewhere (or someone) to take her aggression out on. Now that someone was Nate. He turned away from Cassie before their lips could meet, exhaling a frustrated growl. “Don’t try to threaten me, little girl.” Nate didn’t respond well to threats. They made him feel small and inferior; two things he works really hard on not being. “What’s going on with Maddy and I have nothing to do with you spreading your legs for the transfer.” His dark eyes leave hers to glare at Tyler who’s standing a few feet away with his arms crossed. He was difficult for Nate to read and that made him feel uncomfortable. “Do you love him? Hm? Cassie and I are different. I’m not sleeping with her because I’m bored.” Usually Nate wasn’t so careless with his speech, but in this moment he was, and in doing so he just admitted two things — there was some version of love in his relationship with Cassie, and he’d been screwing her behind Maddy’s back.
“Enough.” Tyler finally interjected; his was voice strong and commanding as he stepped forward. “We shouldn’t have done that here. We got wrapped up in a moment. But there’s not one person standing here right now who has a right to judge. We’re all guilty of something. In this case, the same thing. Look, it’s hard finding someone who you click with while having to hide it because of a preexisting situation. The truth is, no one is trying to hurt anyone. Which is why we haven’t done anything until now... But we can’t explore anything or see what it is, when people keep showing up. Now if you want to tell Jake, go ahead. But I’ll deny it. Then we can see where the cards fall, or— we can all just go our separate ways and pretend no one saw anything.” Tyler was a talker, smooth and smart. It was one of the benefits of growing up in the system and having to fend for himself. “Go fuck yourself.” Nate however, wasn’t easily influenced. He could read an underhanded threat when presented. “You both should leave. Go fuck in your rent-a-room at the McKenzies.” Knowing a losing battle when he sees one, Tyler brushes past Nate and heads for the exit. He wasn’t able to reason with Nate, but maybe Brooke will have better luck with Cassie.
