I’ve realized that I’ve become the Snickers girl. 😱 - apparently I get in a bad mood if I’m hungry.
Today our hotel room had an issue so I went to the front desk to take care of it and the next thing I know housekeeping is knocking within 5 minutes and Madai is asking me “what did you do, Bonnie?” I didn’t yell or anything but I must have intimidated the young lady.
Later on I realized as I started eating that I’m really shaking. Oops. 😬

“Then he said, “About this time next year you shall embrace a son.” And she said, “No, my Lord. Man of God, do not lie to your maidservant!” But the woman conceived, and bore a son when the appointed time had come, of which Elisha had told her.”

Yesterday morning thoughts were racing through my mind of the usual worries, bills, medical issues, expenses that need to be covered, etc.; when I heard the Lord whisper:
“Are you planning to do something about it?”
I responded: “What do you mean?”
“Are you planning to do something about it? Or are you staying in bed? Be like Jonathan, who arose and stormed the Philistine camp with his armor bearer and came back with spoils of war.”
Ouch.
Sometimes you don’t know what to do but what you can’t do is nothing because of indecision. Forward progress even at baby steps is still progress. If the Lord has said it, the Word will come to pass.
““Let’s go across to the outpost of those pagans,” Jonathan said to his armor bearer. “Perhaps the Lord will help us, for nothing can hinder the Lord. He can win a battle whether he has many warriors or only a few!””
1 Samuel 14:6 NLT

She’s like this every time we leave home, even if it’s just for a bit.

It’s these days I miss my mom the most. When I’m sick as a dog and feel desperate to get better. I’m currently in the process of coughing my lungs out, with a fever of over 100 degrees, body aches, the whole shebang to a nice flu. I’d call mom up and she’d tell me exactly what to do. That always included limonade or popsicles. I have no clue why but she always suggested those two items; even when I was a kid she always gave that. We would get home from the doc’s office and she would give the meds with a limonade and if I cooperated, a popsicle. 😆

Jesus, thank You for conquering death for me. I’m thankful that nothing can separate me from Your love, and no mistake can disqualify me from Your plans. Today, remind me of who You’ve called me to be. And when I start to feel unworthy, help me remember to reflect on Your resurrection and rejoice that You alone are my salvation. I love You, and today I choose to follow You.

I’m looking at a peanut butter commercial and cannot make sense of it. The lady is in the middle eating PB and there is a scene playing out all around her as so:
• lady on the right is talking to a doll that resembles her.
• couple on the left is making out.
• guy to the far left is painting or cleaning (can’t remember).
• guy in an upstairs loft is asleep with arm hanging out.
But it’s cool, peanut butter makes it all better.
