This was in the taken in the middle of the school year during 8th grade. Yeesh. Today I lost one of my best friends, and one of the most beautiful minds I knew. Chloe was one of the most powerful women I had the pleasure of knowing. She had a way of laughing at every one of my stupid jokes, knowing how to help in every situation, and being one of the best damn friends I could've ever asked for. Remember that our time on this little blue rock is short. Be there for each other, and laugh a little. Be strong, and love yourself. We lost a beautiful person last night. Rest in peace, Chloe. Okay so I guess I'm a little freaked out about all this so I wanted to post here and get this out there. Drew and I are in an incredibly lucky situation in that his job is pretty stable, and after there's going to be enough demand that he'll be back to work pretty quickly if he does get laid off. I primarily do freelance so I'm not really doing much at the moment. That being said, I'm glad we have an emergency fund set up for situations like this, even though we hoped to never have to use them. As of right now, I've had to basically park the Subaru indefinitely until this clears up so we can save a little more money and not spend it on gas/ect. HOWEVER: Obviously taking all the precautions plus some; if anyone in my friend group/community needs something (aka groceries, prescription refills, ect) I can help with that. Obviously I won't buy you your groceries as I have to save our money but I understand being on public transit at this time isn't something everyone wants to be doing. And before anyone says anything else: I understand completely the social isolation thing - I'm not going into public settings unless absolutely necessary - but I also know I have friends and family that can't step out on their own right now for fear of their health. So, wow. Yeah. Last night really was the end of a decade for me. We had to put down my remaining childhood dog Lily last night. it always sucks losing a pet. I'm 21 now and she was pretty much the last thing that stuck with me (except my parents obv) from my childhood.
