A lineage that is dirtied, is one that can not be recovered without burying the impurities till it has returned to dust.

The first daughter and granddaughter, two-headed,

one looking within the eyes of tradition and mere comfort,

the other with the means to agitate.

Look down the line and each loving pair is of heteronormativity… the life a woman should occupy.

A man to honor and look up to, children to nurture and build up to become the next version of themselves.

Her mother says: “there is no room for thoughts so improper,

as they leave only the pungent taste of sin and evil which should only lay in hell,”

she could engulf it time and time again, but always in secret.

The fear of ostracization is just as rotten as the fear of conformity and they live simultaneously, writhing & twisting together grossly like a snake.

dangling from a teetering branch.
