Crowley had explained Gender Identities to Muriel a few days prior when they were visiting the cafe before starting the second day of overhauling of the bookshop. Crowley was in need of his 6 espressos before even thinking about staring at small lettering all day. One of the other customers sitting across from them was wearing a pin with the words ‘She/They’ printed across it. They had asked Crowley about it, which started a very long explanation of the difference of Sex and Gender, which Crowley seemed very passionate about. Before they left, Muriel asked what Crowley identified with, which he just shrugged and answered “Depends on the day”

It wasn’t until hours after that conversation Muriel randomly stated that they believed ‘They/Them’ suited them the most. Crowley responded with a soft smile and nod, followed by “You got it.”

“Yeah Sure. Anyway, What's with the fashion show?” Crowley motioned over to Muriel’s clothing which once again put a smirk on his face.

“Fashion sh- Oh? My clothing! I am trying to appear more…well native.”

“Ya mean Human?”

“Yes!” Muriel grinned. “Is it working?”

“If you were aiming to look like someone who shops at a thrift store, you're spot on!”

Muriel’s look of confusion caused Crowley to have some pity for the angel.

“Oh apologies. You didn’t want me to tell them? Well I suppose it would be quite confusing for them since I am currently wearing their da-”
