My very dear readers,

I have about 30 requests waiting in my drafts and ask box. I will be working on each of them, and with my slow writing pace, I think it is better that I close it before I end up drowning under requests.

The box will stay open for discussions and random questions. Do not be shy, I may be slow, but I always reply!

Also, since this blog has now 300+ followers and I personally got the results for my thesis (and yes, I passed, I didn’t work 6 months for nothing, I have my diploma!), I will celebrate it with you through a little event: Self-Ship Event! The announcement is made, I will make a whole post about it later next week or before the end of September.

But sadly Rook’s SSR didn’t come home so I won’t be celebrating that...

going off @BritishAssistant’s idea, what about the demon in the mountain (i forget his name) from fantasia? after all, that guy controls loads of monsters during his screentime without moving from his mountain—kinda similar to yuu /mc’s beast taming ability no? what if the mc ends up channelling this demon’s abilities in the endgame willingly or no?

The demon in the mountain, Chernabog, looks like this, for the ones of you who do not know:

Personally, I think Yuu is more linked to Mickey (mirror sequences, Ramshackle Dorm’s look, the whole ‘main character’ thing). And other than with Grim, I can’t remember Yuu taming any beast... And even with Grim, they didn’t tame him, they more give orders/directions to him during battles.

But Yuu ending up with this ability in the future would be really interesting: from magicless student to real beast tamer, respected by them all. What a good revenge against those who made fun of them for it *coughAcecough*.

But now, imagine a twisted version of Chernabog... Oh boy... I now want him as a Diasomnia fourth year...

We’ve been saving everyone from overblot this whole time, right? Well, how do think those who overblotted would react if the tables were turned? If the MC (via channeling something they shouldn’t have or Grim’s machinations) overblots and needs to be saved from themselves?

Dear Anon,

First of all, big warning, this post will contain spoilers from every available chapters and who overblotted (even if the TV commercials already spoiled that but oh well...).

Riddle is a serious person, all in all. He will try to remain as calm as possible. Ace and Deuce are both in his dorm, and as their Dorm Leader, it is his duty to help them save Yuu. Plus, Yuu saved him before. And the rules say you have to-... No, forget the rules. He will save Yuu because they are now friends.

Leona is... Leona. Which means that even if he is lazy, he will still take actions if needed. He already helped Yuu in the past, especially during the Octavinelle Episode... Ok, only during the Octavinelle Episode. Chances are Leona will be the last one to react. But as Ruggie said, the lion still takes care of his juniors. Yuu helped him, it hurt his ego, he will pay his debts.

Azul is curious, so he will find the fact the magicless student overblots interesting. He has to observe this! But don’t get him wrong. Azul may be a greedy businessman, but I can imagine him be thankful for what Yuu did: they helped him, they listened to his story, they even gave him advice... The least he can do is to help them for everything they did, right? Plus, Yuu can offer Ramshackle as a thanks.

Jamil, like Riddle, will be one of the first people to help saving Yuu. As we saw at the beginning of the Pomefiore Episode, he grew more mature after his Overblot event (my boy is having a little redemption arc in Scarabia). And just as he is staying by Kalim’s side to make up for his mistakes and wrong doings, he will think that saving Yuu from this hell is something he has to do to make up with what he did to them.

Is Mallus a vampire? Can he not enter places he’s not invited? Is that why the witch of thorns was so salty? Not because she wanted to go to some random baby’s christening but because if she wasn’t invited she automatically couldn’t?

Malleus is our local dragon fae/fairy. The vampire hypothesis is more around good old Lilia. But it’s canonically true that people tend to not invite him over, not even for something as big as the Entrance Ceremony!

But from what I understood from Lilia’s explanation in the first part of Episode 5 (spoilers in the next line), poor boy seems to not come by himself to avoid scaring humans off. Like a good parent, Lilia wishes his son would participate to school activities.

No vampire, just salty dragons. And I’m sure this dragon, just like me, hopes you have an amazing day, wherever you are! And drink water, it’s important ~

Which characters would be most likely to help you clean/fix up Ramshackle dorm of their own accord? Which would sneak their dorm’s memorabilia in there, so it ends up looking like that dorm has taken over Ramshackle? Which ones would “help” by sitting around and telling everyone else what to do?

This! This is big brain energy, here! And I’m going into analysis mode for this!

For the ones of you who don’t know, this is Pete:

And physically, we have the black fur and he is a cat. Grim has black fur and is quite cat-like too. Pete was the villain in the Mickey Mouse’s original series, so we’re still in villain’s incarnations for NRC. It could make an echo with the fact that Yuu can see Mickey in their mirror at night. It would go with the hypothesis of Ramshackle being Mickey’s house.

And personality wise, they are also quite similar: greedy, treacherous (Octavinelle Episode proved it), overconfident, cocky, impatient... But also cowardly, funny and clumsy.

Now, I want Grim to be officially inspired by Pete! I love this idea, it’s so fiting! Thank you for bringing it up!

Is this accident a trouble or a blessing? A trouble because he cannot shower you with his love, but a blessing because he can now admire you even when you are not next to him. Oh, but do not fret, he is going to take a best of care of your body, even better than his own. And his respect for women is high, so he will never do anything with your body unless you give him permission to.

Almost nobody can tell that this is not you inside your body. Rook stalked observed you so much, he has every single of your mimics memorized. Even you are surprised. Speech, walk, sitting position, attitude towards your friends and students in general... Everything is perfectly copied!

If you take his phone, you will discover tones of selfies he took while in your body. Mainly cute ones. Many while testing different makeup on you. Some in outfits you do not even know. If you question him about it, he will simply reply that it was a golden opportunity to see what fit you the most. Spoiler alert, he thinks everything fits you.

He is a little sad when the accident is fixed and he is back in his body. But he is sure happy to be able to shower you with his love once more. He really enjoyed the experience. 

“What a pain...”

Leona hates this. Look at him! The prideful lion loosing his body for a frailer one. Do not get him wrong, he loves you and does not underestimates your strength... He just prefers his own body and is stronger than you, in terms of physical strength, as a Magishift player.

Oh well, he is ready to sleep the day away, hoping that it will be fixed by tomorrow. Until you tell him that dissing classes in your body was out of question. What a pain. He is forced to go to classes, and there were not even his actually classes but yours so useless for him. But he will at least make an effort to take notes of what the teachers are saying for you.

Overall, Leona will still act like Leona. Poor Ruggie is taken aback when he sees your body being so demanding and lazy while Leona’s body is actually active and offers to help him. This hyena really needs holidays.

Once the situation is fixed, the lion sighs of relief. Leona drinks his respect women juice every morning so he took great care of your body. What a surprise to smell a really sweet cologne once back in your own body and how soft your skin is. You will have to ask where he bought those products.

“Now, I understand more your point of view.”

The first thing that Malleus notices is how everything looks different in your height. Now, he finally understands what you meant, when you were telling him he was ‘way too tall’. A whole new world is opening its doors to his vision. And for the first time in years, and maybe even centuries, he feels small, especially while standing next to you inside his body.

Other surprise for him is how people are not scared to talk to him when he is in your place. He never thought he would enjoy speaking with Ace and Deuce so much. Malleus is definitely enjoying this change. But nobody understands why Sebek is always running your way screaming something about humans taking advantage of the situation to grow near to Young Master

But Malleus is worried about you. If he is enjoying a new social life, you are probably alone, with people avoiding getting to near. He asks Lilia to stay by your side so you will not feel lonely during this period of time or when he cannot be by your side because of classes.

When the accident is finally fixed, he feels a strange mix of sadness and relief. He is happy for you to go back to your normal daily life, and he is happy to find his life back. But he enjoyed the social aspects of speaking with your friends. Be prepared for him asking if you can invite Ace and Deuce to talk with them.

Poor Malleus internally panicked as soon as he saw you hissed due to a cramp. Was that the smell of blood, just now? Are you hurt? Did someone hurt you while he was not here? Who? How dared they? You will have to calm his wild imagination down and explain to him that the only one hurting you right now is Mother Nature. But be more specific or he’ll go and curse Mother Nature for you

Despite his long life, Malleus never really did researchs about what periods are. Reptiles do not have periods, after all, and dragons were no exception. It was not something he thought useful to know about. But as soon as you told him you had those, the man did some researchs to know how he could help you during this terrible time of the month.

He also discussed the matter with you to help you in the best way possible. How painful was it? What kind of protections were you usually using? Did you need to go back to your dorm earlier to lay down? Were you the type to eat more or less during periods? Mood swings were a thing too?

In general, Malleus was a really patient person, so he was able to keep up with any change on your side. He also understood that, because of your hormones causing pain and swings, you needed his patience even more, as well as his support.

Since you were a shy person, if needed, he would go and tell Professor Vargas that no, you could not participate to any sport-like activities for the week, without going into details.

All in all, Malleus would be your support through-out the whole week. His calm presence was a big help during this painful period, and he made things so much easier for you to deal with it.

“What a quaint daughter of man you are.”

Malleus was not used to physical contact. He was more used to people running the way opposite to his to avoid his imposing aura. So you being so touchy toward him was a pleasant surprise.

The fae just loved the way you would run to him to give him back hug when you saw him in between two classes. Sebek gasped. He gladly bend over to your level to let you kiss his cheeks or poke the tip of his nose. Letting you play with his fingers while you two shared a converstion during his night visit at Ramshackle was one favorite of his.

He would give back ever single mark of affection you offered him, on his own way. Often, he walked you to your next class, hloding your hand, before kissing you on the top of the head to let you go. Sebek double gasped.

Malleus never knew he was touch-starved before meeting you. But now, he could not even imagine going through one single day with one of your affectionate hug. Also, if you have ever been affectionate toward the tall fae in public, other students would now admire and fear you at the same time as ‘that one person that dared to be so touchy with Malleus Draconia’.

“You...! I-I’ll let it slide!”

“Blushing mess” was invented for Riddle being attacked by your affectionate gestures. The first few times, he scolded you for surprising him or being ‘inappropriate’ in public. But with times, he stopped denying you and accepted your affection - not without turning redder.

Riddle was not used to being affectionate and it showed. The red hair wanted to hug you back, to kiss your cheek too... But just the thought made his mind go blank. Cater literally laughed at him when the Dorm Leader came to him for pieces of advice.

With time, he finally dared to do the unimaginable: he held your hand. It was rather cute how clumsy he was with such a simple gesture. And when you squeezed his hand back, his face became the same color than his hair.

Ace and Deuce would tease him to no end until they both lost their head for the whole day. Trey was his emotional support while Cater was giving him more tips. In the end, the whole Heartslabyul Dorm was encouraging their clumsy Dorm Leader.

“It’s not because I accept hugs that you can treat me like a child, ok?”

Epel wanted you to see him as a strong manly man. But he could not fight your hugs and kisses which always successfully made him melt. The first time you hugged him surprised him so much his country accent made its appearance for half a second.

The boy put one limit: no hugs nor kisses when Vil was around. If he could avoid receiving an earful, he would be grateful. And maybe not in front of Rook either, because the huntman would gush over you two for hours for ‘being so adorable’.

To be honest, Epel was not the type to love being dotted on, mainly because he thought you were still seeing him as ‘a child’ or ‘a cute boy’ instead the man he wanted you to see him as. You would have to reassure him on the fact that even the manliest of men is free to love physical affection. You were doing it not because of him being ‘a cute boy’, but because you liked him.

After this conversation, Epel took a 360 turn around and went from ‘no touching’ to ‘please touching’. He was melting under your touch and would even ask for hugs. He would do his very best during training just to have some ‘congrats’ kisses. And there was also this time where he was feeling rebellious and kissed your cheek while Vil was around.

“Shrimpy! I want more kisses!”

Well... We were happy to know you. Floyd would never let you go. It was no secret that this eel was really touchy-feely with people in general. So, when he liked someone, he was even more touchy-feely. And if you were affectionate and gave him touchs back, it would be heaven for him.

The tall boy opened his arms wide as soon as he saw you, and in a really cliché scene, you would run to one another for the biggest hug. But do not worry, he would not squeeze too tight. Hurting you is something he wanted to avoid at all cost, after all.

He had no shame demanding kisses from you. He wanted ‘good morning’ kisses, ‘goodbye’ kisses, ‘good lunch’ kisses, ‘thank you’ kisses, ‘you did well’ kisses... Every occasion is kisses occasion. He also played with your hands a lot. They were just so small compared to his, he could not help but always hold them while talking to you.

Floyd was greedy with your touch, always asking for more. But he was also selfish. If he was in the mood, he was okay with you being tactile with Jade and sometimes Azul. But seeing you hugging someone else generally made him pout and tug at your arm for your attention. And if he were not in the mood, he could literally tire you apart for the person you hugged and glared at said person.

“My, my... Aren’t you a handle? Not that I mind.”

Jade was used to touch, Floyd being his brother. Yet, he was still surprised, since other students did not come to him easily, even less for physical contact such as hugs. Plus, he was not the type to be in the spot light, he was more the discret type. So, your affectionate self was a good change from what he was used to. And in all honesty, it might be one of the reason he was attracted to you.

This charming eel was a tease, it was no secret. And one of his favorite teasing was to stand tall while you struggled to peck his cheek. Just look at you, tip-toeing yet not reaching him. But do not worry, in the end, he would still let you give him the kiss.

You loved hugs? He gladly accepted yours, wrapping an arm around you and pat your head. And when he was feeling like it, he gave you his own surprise hugs (and since you did not expect him to be the touching type, ‘surprise’ was the right term). Your blushing face was one of the best views he knew.

Truth being told, you had him wrapped around your finger. But beware, Jade was more selfish than his brother when he came to your touch. He was good at hiding it in front of you, but once your back was turned, his glare would say everything to the person that dared to hug you instead of him. Floyd might have a ‘no glaring’ pass.

One True But Impossible Love

How cruel was life to make him fall for someone he was doomed to lose? Jack could not help but repeated this question over and over in his head as he was staring at the person he loved more than he should: you. He tried to ignore his feelings. He really did. But even this determined and strong wolf could not win this fight. He loved you. And this love was painful.

The wolf fell for you not long after you met. He was not expecting this feeling to take him over. But watching you deal with Leona caught his attention. And when he helped you to save Ace, Deuce and Grim from Azul, he grew closer to you. He realized his love during the winter holidays, when he had to leave you. He kept thinking about you, about how you were doing, about if you were safe. When he came back and you greeted him with a smile, he felt butterfly dancing in his stomach. And he cursed himself.

Wolves only had one and only love. A love for lifetime. And he had to love the one person he should not. He had to love the one person that was not from the same world than him. The one person that will leave to a place where he could not go.

“Jack, the headmaster found a way to send me home!” He wished he could be happy for you, when you ran to him to announce him this news. Yet, it only broke his heart. The day you would leave was getting closer and closer. Jack did not know what to do. Should he ask you to stay? Should he admit his feelings to you to free himself of it? Should he just let you go?

“Don’t forget us, okay?” Ace said when you were about to leave. “They’ll never forget the Great Grim,” the monster exclaimed as if he was not crying. “We’ll miss you,” Deuce admitted. You smiled at your friends, touched by their words - and their tears. You will miss them for sure. So much. But your life was... Not here. Yours was waiting on the other side of this mirror.

“Y/N,” Jack called hesitantly. It was so uncommun, to see him hesitate. You nodded at him to encourage him to continue. He opened his mouth, then closed it, and opened it, to close it again. “Just... Be happy, okay?” “I will! You too, Jack, promise?”

In the end, he decided to let you go back to your life. He had no right to take it away from you selfishly. You would never be happy, this way. And he would not be happy with it either. The only thing he could do... was to see you off with a smile. You would have no regret. You would never know his pain. Nor his love.

Alternative Ending

When you opened your eyes, you immediately recognized the scenery. Those trees. Those buildings. Those rodes. You were back. You sighed heavily. “I’m home,” you said, without the enthusiasm you expected.

“You are.”

You turned around when you heard a voice you were not expected to hear. Not here, in your world, at least. He should not be here. He cannot... Right?

In the end, he could not let you go. He followed. He prefered to let his past life behind... Rather than trapping himself in a future full of misery.
