I just want to express my emotions that have been accumulating in me for a long time, and I always get very nervous before writing something like this, but I have the right to speak out no matter what, because I am a human being. I do not care how much time has been gone, how people will react on this post. I don't care, i have the right to speak. I am a person who does not draw or write very well, but this does not stop me from loving art, no matter when and by whom it was made. I will say briefly.

Our art is becoming soulles shit for money and simple idlers stronger and stronger, but using AI for art (music, paintings, etc.) is a hugest slap in the face of art and creative people we managed to do, to everything they have given us and are giving us. Everything that art gives us and has given us, its history, all this is being thrown into the trash, and now AI is a new form of that.

In addition, recently a new AI has appeared that generates photographs that are no different from real ones. They will be used to lie, change real facts and events, build and destroy reputations. (Mark my words).

AI generated content is laziness, greediness and envy in their purest form. It is created by people like this who felt like the center of the universe and gave us something we definitely don't need. Look at the elsagate having AI slop.

Draw, find and write everything by yourself, otherwise everything that makes us human will be destroyed. Don't be part of the mainstream and trends. Oppose ai, keep real art strong.

On the edge of tears listening to 1984 by George Orwell (this is my first time reading it) and hearing the words “By 2050, earlier, probably, all real knowledge of oldspeak will have disappeared. The whole literature of the past will have been destroyed. Chaucer, Shakespeare, Milton, Byron. They’ll exist only in newspeak versions; not merely changed into something different, but actually changed into something contradictory of what they used to be” whilst living in a world where people are using AI to summarise books into paragraphs to read them.

Cringe culture ruined being a kid.

I keep seeing the idea that teen members of Gen Z are the last generation to experience an actual childhood and honestly? I agree.

We as a society have made being a child so hostile, so miserable, that kids aren't interested in being young anymore.

How children are constantly told to grow up, how the color has been sucked out of the world, how because of cringe culture children will be fucking torn apart by grown adults all over the internet, how children are experiencing crisis after crisis. Children are shamed for their interests and hobbies and style by grown ass adults and teens who are far too old to be doing this. How kids aren't allowed to be anywhere without being made fun of by adults who are miserable.

Being a child is fucking hostile now, and I don't blame this generation of kids for trying too hard to be mature/grown. Because people treat children like shit, so who would want to be one?

I'm finishing up college and don't have a great portfolio for game dev bc I didn't know this was what I wanted to do with my life until I was 2 years into uni. i straight up don't have the skills or experience to make great games right now.

but that's okay.

every piece of art you make is important, especially when you're bad at making it. it's a stepping stone to making something good, you just have to build your skills by making stuff.

so now I'm VERY inspired to work on my projects, even if they're rough and i have a TON of tech debt to deal with, because i know that i just have to make a few more things until i can tackle a dream game. and when i get there, it's gonna be awesome
