Pokémon X and Y was definitely the biggest challenge to give the PokeSpe protags names, but Sword & Shield did compete for that spot

#maybe also because in the JP version for XY they just went with the letters but with swsh it was like #soudo and schildemilla. or something like that. Like yes it had the games names but also we try to do it a little bit different #Idk. At some point it might have beeb better to just go with the victor/gloria names the protags got (unofficially?? officially???)#But we went with characters named Blue. Yellow. Gold. Emerald. Pearl. Black. WhiTwo. And just accepted it (mostly)#Maybe just... keep playing it straight #There have been weird names and more will follow

I want to challenge Game Freak & the Pokémon Company to not release a new game for any console for a whole year. Just focus on updates of the app games you have and taking some time with new things. Try taking some time to properly develop new games instead of pushing a murderous release schedule.

#I want fewer games and I want proper working environments for game developers. and I'm 100% serious.#pokemon day 2022 #they failed it already bc I posted this after the Pokémon Presents yes I know but I am serious #some of those announcements really disappointed me men #Pokémon #I think gen 8 still being one of the highest grossing games they released rewarded that behavious too much #I tried to keep this as vague and spoiler-free as possible but to be sure #Pokémon spoilers #spoilers #there were also announcements that really excited me! it's just that the last one expecially kinda soured my mood.

I kind of included Pokémon Sleep as a joke on my Presents bingo card, but it's been 1,5 years and we heard NOTHING about it ever since it was announced

Like, is the project dead?? Is it just harder to realise then expected??? Are they still figuring out how to include microtransactions etc. because otherwise it's not profitable enough?

All we got is radiosilence

PSA for Switch owners

The latest 11.0 update means that Google Analytics is a thing on the switch and turned on. What that means is that Nintendo has a deal with Google to share with them your data for advertisement purposes.

To turn it off

go to the eShop

go to your profile where your funds and account info is

go down to the bottom of the page

there you will see “Google Analytics Preferences”

select the Change

select “Don’t Share”

Please spread the word. Really shitty of Nintendo to just quietly start allowing Google to spy on users for advertising.
