Mainly an update of the horns to the new Dawntrail Face models, they also opted to have me put in some piercings and modded teeth!

I'm thinking about opening some more official comms for this type of thing, updating ears and horns to dawntrail faces/materials, adding custom piercings either to equip or to the face models, customizing teeth etc... though I'm not sure if there's really interest for that? As usual I'm such a jack of all trades master of none type person that I can't really tell if any of my skills are good enough to pay for u.u

Includes all textures and materials required for the pieces inside, but does not include the hat from the original modpack since it didn’t need to be refitted.

I adjusted some attributes to maximise compatibility, but known limitations are:

Super tall boots can clip into the shorts since they don’t tuck in (I’m too lazy for shape keys…)

The Furry sock options will clip with long, bulky trousers and get toggled off by some; they count as kneeboots. I like their height as it is but it’s a bit awkward in interaction with vanilla items.

All Items require Re-Defined Lalafell for Skin B Material. Beans, Hand Beans and Fat Beans require Minou Beans Material, Minooves require Minooves Materials installed. All can be found in the Fruits Basket Discord

Only a single dye channel, but other colors can be adjusted through Glamourer or Material Editor (same as OG pack)

Nidhogg Horns II

Remake of an old mod. Works for all Au Ra faces, unisex. Changes the head model, does not affect face textures. The horns use FacB material and replaces Reaper transformation eyes.

WLT Nidhogg II Horns for Lalafell

What it says on the tin, ported the horns onto an earring.

You will need to hide the ears in some way; you can do this just using the headgear slot’s attributes, but if you don’t have a mod that closes the earholes left behind by that it will be visible. I positioned the horns to come out where the vanilla ears would, but they don’t fully fill those holes so use either a mod that closes the earholes in the head model or cover them with hair.

Variants: all 4 models by WLT, adjusted for Lala from the female versions because f!Au’ra faces are more similar in proportion. all 4 color options from the original mod (vanilla Au’Ra + White and Black)

Dye enabled, but it shows up best if you set the textures to White first.

WLT’s original perms apply, as well as my ToS where it might be stricter.

Anyways here’s some Boomwhacker inspired Viper weapons, they dye (Main hand on channel one, Offhand on channel 2. I messed it up a bit because the item doesn’t even have two dye slots so u gotta do it in glamourer anyway, but it was meant to be a 2 dye system… you’ll figure it out)

Assets mostly handmade, Font used from https://x.com/thatskyfii/status/1561786979158839304, the cactuar I stole from some official art

I didn’t spend a lot of time refining the model, so it doesn’t slot together seamlessly in the combined sword animations. Most of the time that’s covered by your hand anyway tho

My first ever entirely handmade mesh!! v exciting yes yes

High waisted, works best with tops made for high waisted bottoms. Not compatible with most thighboots, clips through some tops.

Simple dye, fabric texture can be altered by editing the Tile Material on Material B Slot 16A in Penumbra.

Weights are likely not perfect but I did my best to minimize clipping. Skin requires Relala by minou

Cutie-Fy for MLala F1

Cutie-fy is a Customize+ preset that affects face bone scaling. It softens the eyes, adjusts the nose shape and forms the mouth into a soft moue.

It is meant as an alternative to installing a sculpt, and is made to work on Male Lalafell face 1 (and 101). Using it on other faces or modded face models (sculpts) is not intended but entirely possible, the result will just look different from the previews.

They don’t look exactly the same as the old version, if that’s what you want you can just convert the old file yourself using textools. Instead I used this chance to play with the new Colorsetting options and work with the new shaders to make something similar but more consistent with Dawntrail visuals in my opinion.

Two Dye channels (in glamourer): Dye 1 – “Medicine” and its glow + Glass Dye 2 – Metal parts

On my Plans for the coming Expansion

As Dawntrail is arriving in about half a year, I have put some thought into how my mods, especially the paid ones, will have to change with its arrival. Simple fact is, we won’t know the effects of the graphics update until it has arrived, and I will likely be too busy to roll with the punches as they say.

That is why I have decided I will be un-vaulting all my paid mods made up until DT’s release somewhere around its release date. I will be adding notices to all my mods, (formerly) paid and free, that will clearly state their status as untested and un-updated, up until the moment I can do so. I won’t be deleting any mods from this ko-fi, as I do not wish for any links to break.

There may be new paid mods I upload after Dawntrail. None of the previously unvaulted ones will become paid again, at least not in their current state, and not if all I do is unfuck them. If any of them ever become part of a paid mod again, the original will stay up and I will make sure the new version is a big enough rework to merit paying again, so to say.

A comment on the current “discourse” about paid mods:

I only ever put a mod behind a paywall if it includes self-made, original assets, or ones I had to heavily edit. Even then I only make them paid if I feel I did a good enough job to warrant it. I calculate my prices based on effort and perceived quality, and the most I would likely ever charge for a single modpack would be like 15 bucks.

If you look at my creator page on glamour dresser or my tumblr archive you will see I have multiple completely free mods at various effort points. These are mods I felt I didn’t contribute enough towards to make people pay me for, or they’e kinda shit even though they’re useable.

These are my personal choices as a creator.

I do not begrudge a single modder who makes and packs their own content the right to price it however they want. If I cannot pay for something, or I do not want to, I simply don’t. No mod is ever a necessity. If I truly cannot afford something that I want, I am within my full rights to just remake it myself. My version almost certainly will be worse, or at least different, but it will be free to me. That is just how the world works.

I’m aware that there are “piracy“ circles for mods. I don’t use them and if others do that’s their business. I pirate other things frequently (legally this is a joke)! I just do not pirate mods, because I know the effort and skills behind it and I respect independent creators too much to.

Make your own choices. Do a little research before spending your money. Learn how to pack your own modpacks, it’s not that hard. Hell, try your hand at blender! If you really “need” to, practice piracy. But don’t spend your time online shitting on people for the price they put on their work. That’s a waste of your energy, and deeply cringe besides.

Started as a quick conversion so asym skin mods would work (with tiny adjustments because the bow clipping into the back was bothering me). Wound up adding an option to only use the pullover, so you can pair it with other bottoms! I had to adjust the shape of the hem a bit so it should hopefully fit high waisted modded bottoms. Still, I didn’t wanna shorten it too much so it doesn’t work well with stuff that requires the top “tuck in” and might not be perf on every combo you try.

Some things I’ve tested and think work ok:

Since I didn’t change the model much beyond adjusting the fit a little, clipping/weight issues that were there with Kiwi’s version are still there in mine; I won’t claim I might not have accidentally added some too. Don’t look at the armpits too close, look at ur adorable bow instead!
