Name one idea for a plot you’ve had but never gotten around to writing.
burnt out mun asks | open
i’ve always had this idea that vald’s an option to replace cullen as the inquisition forces leader that would be fun to write out! it’s less that i don’t care for cullen and more that i just feel that vald wouldn’t be able to keep his two cents to himself on like... anything that involved troop movements. he’s very strategically minded and just enjoys the organizing and care that goes into nurturing an army. give my lil warboy the responsibility he craves

What is a trope you’ve always wanted to subvert?
burnt out mun asks | open
i feel like anything to do with the “uncivilized barbarian” trope is on my list. for rikvi and vald, they’re very smart and very proud of their culture, and even after traveling the world, they’ve never once thought about trying to be anything but Avvar. they’re not stupid, brutish, or uncivilized, even if they like to pretend from time to time. anytime i get to turn that trope on it’s head is a good day for me

❛ why do this? ❜ -- Orion at Rikvi
ocean’s eleven sentence starters | open
“Sometimes the gods tell us things through the innards. Sometimes a spirit moves things that once had life flowing through it.” Rikvi picked up a portion of the goat’s lower intestine and squeezed it, closing her eyes as she felt several lumps inside.
As she stood, she shook her hands free of some blood and slime. “And sometimes, to find out what’s plaguing the herd, you must sacrifice one. We will see now if the vultures eat it. That will be the final clue.”

Easy Meme for a Burnt Out Mun
Ever wanted to do stuff for your blog but you can’t get in the mindset for replying to an RP? These questions are designed to give you something to answer without requiring too much attention!
What is an aspect of your muse that you’ve wanted to explore the most?
Name one idea for a plot you’ve had but never gotten around to writing.
How do you get inspiration?
Are there any songs that remind you of your muse and/or get you into the mood to reply?
If you’re a multimuse or have more than one blog, is there a muse you wish you used more?
Is there a muse that you consistently have the muse for?
Do you have any symbols/motifs/themes/etc. that you’re currently trying to get across or plan to get across?
Do you have any arcs planned out or already in the works for your blog?
Name one of your favorite tropes.
What has influenced your writing and blog?
If you’re an oc blog, did you have any characters in mind while creating your character?
What is a trope you’ve always wanted to subvert?
Is there a fact/detail about your muse that you think would surprise people if you told them about it?
Name a question you’ve always wanted to be asked about your muse.
How has your muse changed since you’ve first started to write them?
Take the opportunity to write a short ramble/drabble about something you want to write about.
Feel free to add more!

Bethany didn’t quite make out the initial remark, though she could tell from tone it was far from flattering. Tensions towards mages were not unheard of - a wary eye or two often cast even her way despite wearing the garb of the Grey Wardens - though most in Skyhold thought better of being openly abusive towards the sister of Kirkwall’s infamous Champion.
The skill with which the other mage had laid the soldier flat did not escape her notice either. Such a fluid, precise technique had made her catch her breath, there was much to admire in it and the man had been bested without so much as a drop of mana expended so he couldn’t even claim unfair advantage.
A look down at his face confirmed her suspicions more or less, as she recognized him as someone who had given a hard time to a mage whose only crime had been attempting to heal him. Perhaps a well deserved beating would make him more inclined towards gratitude in the future.
“Hopefully you knocked some sense into him,” Bethany comments with a wry smile. The most wounded thing about him appeared to be his pride but that could easily change if the Avvar’s no-nonsense stance were anything to go by. “Though I doubt any apology forthcoming would be sincere.”
The woman in question paused before coming to stand at Rikvi’s side. A cute thing--quite curvy with dark tresses that fell just around her shoulders and eyes bright and clear as the mountain skies after a storm. Very pretty. She pushed a little harder into the man’s ribs. Rikvi could feel Valor’s disapproval without even needing to look up.
“True. But when the dog shits the bed, you still rub his face in it to prove a point, yes? He will then learn he doesn’t like shit on his nose and won’t make a mess anymore. Isn’t that right, dog?” Rikvi shifted her weight, finally using the man as a stepping stone and walking right over him to stand opposite of the Warden. The soldier scrambled to his feet, cradling his injured hand to his chest as he gulped for air, eyes flicking from Rikvi to the Warden and back.
“Sorry.” At the tightening of Rikvi’s hand on her spear, the man flinched and met the Warden’s eyes. “I’m sorry. Won’t do it again, so sorry.”
As the soldier coughed and scurried away, Rikvi turned to grin at the girl. “See? Even the stupid ones get it when you have a firm hand. I am Rikvi. Are you busy?”
