Dear lovers of values and choral music The Ciprian Porumbescu Choir has experience in European competitions through several gold and silver medals obtained throughout the 11 years of its re-establishment. The choir belongs to the Sing Bucovina Association from Suceava. This year it takes place the world's largest choral music competition, the World Choir Games, held this July in Gangeung, South Korea. Romania will be represented in this world competition by the "Ciprian Porumbescu" Choir in the "Folklore a cappella" and "Sacra Musica a cappella" categories, following the selection of the groups registered for this edition. Unfortunately, the joy of this performance is overshadowed by the impossibility of covering the costs of transportation, meals, and accommodation of the 28 selected choristers. To take part in this extraordinary event, the choir members need financial support of approximately 60,000 euros (300,000 lei), the estimated minimum amount. Those who wish to contribute concretely to the representation of Romania at the World Choral Games in South Korea can do so by donating as much as their hearts allow. Donate now!
