today i got my first tattoo. ‘time can heal most anything’ this lyric has meant a lot to me throughout the years and all the struggles and dark times i’ve had, taylor swift music has pulled me through a lot and i’m so happy to finally get these words on me and i truly believe time is the ultimate healer and it has been for me (as well as taylor swift music) ✨

@taylorswift, thank you for helping me get through the hard times for the past 10 years. You’ve helped over come my depression and eating disorder. Because of you, after 6 years, next month I’ll be one year clean of self harming. The very first time I heard this song, I knew it would impact my life & im so happy you’ve helped me become “finally clean”. A couple insanely cool things happened these past couple of days.

1. I turned 20.

2. One of my friends painted me as Taylor for a bday present and I’m just so *screams deeply followed by several voice cracks*

3. I got my first tattoo. I got a paper airplane with a trail made up of wild flowers, and I’m just so happy with the outcome of it. The tattoo has a couple different little meanings and reminders for myself, which I will gladly explain if you want to know. One of the reasons, however, on why I got this tattoo was to kind of honour tswift in my own little way. She’s basically been my friend since I was 11, and she’s just been that little ray of sunshine for me when I was at my worst. One of my favourite songs by her is called Out Of The Woods, and there’s a line in it that goes,“ Baby like we stood a chance, two paper air planes flying.” (I was going to get another plane on the other end, but decided to just stick with the one.) Then I have the flower that’s drying out inside the loop, and that homage to Clean with the line, “the flowers that we’d grown together died of thirst.” (Also that little tiny petal that looks like an onion beside the plane.) @taylorswift

So yeah, there’s that. (Also if you could maybe tag her in this? I’d love for her to see it!)
