Seriously though Glass Mask IS SO IMPORTANT because even though it’s about acting I can totally see super relevant points for ANYONE following an artistic career

Stuff like how coming from a family that has been following that same career or having an incredible raw talent or passion for what you do doesn’t mean anything without effort, on how it is important to do your best and NEVER EVER stop working if you think you still could improve, on how fucking important it is to work in a team 

Maya is described constantly as someone with incredible talent who could eat the fucking world with her acting and yet her acting is so incredibly flawed and she keeps learning new things all the time and never brags about her hability or complains about the effort she has to do to improve she works until she realizes her mistakes, aknowledges them, works harder to correct them and never forgets about them
