She took the question sincerely, a thoughtful hum in her throat.  After briefly considering it, she shook her head.  “I don’t think I am!  Sometimes I eat three plums and think I’ve become allergic, though.  That’s too much acid in the stomach, it’s a big mistake!” Well, that was good.  If he wasn’t allergic to anything, then she’d never have to be worried about cooking something for him that was bad.  Or if he ever wanted to sample something she was making for herself out of pure curiosity.  That seemed like something he might do.  The horror.  Precious snacks...!

Explaining this aloud may have alleviated some of the weirdness.  Did she think to do so?  No.  Was she even aware that he considered her so odd?  No.  

“Do you ever have to get a haircut?” Ah, yes. The important questions.

Mafia Hijinks - Interest Check

So, question.  Epic Mafia hijinks.  I used to host this for Persona/Persona 4 rpc from time to time and it could get wild and wildly hilarious.

I was thinking about hosting a few rounds of mafia sometime soon, either sometime this weekend or next weekend or at least the near future.  Could you like/reblog this if there’s interest?  

There’s 2 methods I can host it with.  One is with a card set (I forgot what it’s called?  A character deck?) that randomly assigns characters (and you won’t know who is who outside of typing patterns) and people will randomly get assigned Yui, Ruki, Ayato, Latio, etc. and it tends to keep things a lot less serious.  The second is where everyone’s username displays & they can roleplay as whichever character they want all the time (including OCs), but this tends to create a much more Serious Atmosphere for some reason.  I used to mix up the two from time to time.

Rules (Simple, but Needed):

If you’re the super easily triggered sort, it’s not recommended to play this game, as there’s no telling what kind of murders or dialogue could occur.

The goal is to be semi-IC but enjoy being comedic/dramatic.  You can be descriptive or simple, it’s all good.

Do not deliberately throw the game.  Always play appropriately to your role (mafia, townsperson, etc.), or you ruin the game for the group.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A DIABOLIK LOVERS ROLEPLAY BLOG TO PARTICIPATE, you just need to be either semi-familiar with DL, or at least willing to vaguely attempt to play DL characters in the Epic Mafia setting.  Trust me, sometimes horribly getting it wrong by mistake is pure gold in Epic Mafia.

You do not have to be following me to participate, nor do I need to be following you, but it’s probably recommended if you want to see when I next update the #dialovers epic mafia tag.

Takes a step further. Only three steps between them, now.

Three steps.  She took another.  Two steps were between them now.  He was within arm’s reach.  Cowmori slowly reached out towards him.  He could stop her at any time if he chose - she knew that, so she didn’t try to be quick.  Didn’t try to tempt him into grabbing a wrist or her hand and staring down at her.  No, she hoped her hand slowly moving up towards his face either had him lose the game of bravery by stopping her despite the lack of threat or stepping back, away from her.  

Her fingers closed into her palm but for one.  The index finger continued to reach out, out towards his nose.  If he didn’t stop her, she would boop the tip of his nose, gently, and say “moo” in quiet, but pleased victory.  Yes.  If she could do this, Yui Cowmori had won.

productivity may be scarce on here and @trophyeve​ the next few days, I’m getting hit hard with a really severe migraine and knowing the current pattern, it’ll last over a day and make me sound a little bit odd or incoherent at times.  

I also have a work trip next week, so my activity will be less until I return.  Not a full hiatus, but definitely a brief break / super low activity between now and the end of next week.

This is true both on tumblr and discord, but I’ll be more responsive in OOC parts of servers or in DMs on discord when my attention & health aren’t MIA

As soon as the girl offered him her hand for the vampire to take, he did so, smiling in anticipation for the pain to come. He though maybe, just maybe, if he tried hard enough, he could convince her to use the metal hairbrush he hid under the bed. It was sharp and the bristles were hard enough that they scratched at his scalp, tearing at the skin. He loved using it to comb his own hair, and he hoped that perhaps, she would like it too.

“There’s one… I can get you… Eve…”

When they arrived to his room, he quickly made his way towards the bed and pulled said hairbrush from under the mattress. It took a while for him to find it, but eventually, he handed it to the girl.

“Use… that one…”

Wasn’t this...  a pet comb?  This wasn’t for a person.  She would buy him one next time she was allowed out and about.  Maybe she could convince Yuma to go on a shopping trip with her...?  Azusa needed a brush.  This kind of thing...it was great for pets.  Gently used, it pulled away the loose fur and was often beloved by many cats and dogs alike for the pampering.  She was aware of that.  So...maybe she could use it on a person without hurting them?

Her fingers closed around it hesitantly and she smiled with uncertainty.  

“...Okay.  Could you sit down on a chair or on your bed, and that way I can have an easier time reaching your hair?  I really want you to feel how wonderful this can be.”

He  ignored  the  request  since  it  should  be  obvious  he  refused .  He  could  have  said  nice  try  but  it  was  more  words  than  needed .  He  shifted  his  weight  to  sit  properly .  Now  she  had  to  go  and  mention  that  guy .  Could  this  day  get  any  worse ?  Surely  ,  since  it  always  did .  He  reached  out  for  her  arm  to  pull  her  into  his  lap . 

❝  …  So  noisy .  … If  you  must  speak  than  offer  your  blood .  ❞  」

She collapsed onto his lap from the pull with a startled gasp.  She didn’t move yet - she was fairly certain Shuu would just grip her more tightly to keep her from moving away and such a thing would hurt.  Then again, that might be preferable to having her blood taken.

She shifted, trying to pull away.  No luck.  All right.  Next option: making a request that was convincing enough for him to acquiesce.  Some clever, thought out plan about how he’d get something more worthwhile if he did something else.  Or why he should attend that dinner after all.  Or how much more willing she’d be if he just signed the thing that might give her a way to leave the house--

“Um...  Please don’t drink my blood?” 

...or she could choke up and not succeed at reasoning with him at all.  Shuu was intimidating this close up.
