Lots of unhinged rambling below because I have to get this out of my head

Deltafell.. I would like to think it would take place in a bad part of town where the school district and the neighborhood is less taken care of. And thus, the darkworlds are more dangerous and falling apart at the seams literally as a contrast to the town. Instead of being classic RPG roles when you come in, it's kind of similar to zenith forms (just less so) where you take up the form of your obsession.

STARLO HAVING STILL RAN FROM HOME AND HAS BEEN BUNKING AMONGST HIS FRIENDS FOR A WHILE (sometimes catching naps in the streets if they ask him to find his own place because he really doesn't want to face his father after stealing the family gun and running away over something as petty as jealousy and resentment). Idk if his beloved gun would still be a comically large rifle or maybe something as simple as a pistol but he carries it everywhere. The feisty five are hooligans that cause trouble around town to scare people just for the attention and because they can. He smokes now too. Just to look cool. If he were to go to the dark world, I think it would be very hard to convince him to ever come out. Because down there he is somebody and people fear him and he isn't just some petty criminal. He's Shooting Star. (His gun is now also a comically big rifle to show both his need for affection and his bigass ego).

Orion's part of the police force and finds his brother on the streets sometimes. He can bring himself to force him to come home yet. He sometimes leaves gifts in alleyways for his brother and insists he's the one patrolling in that area so someone meaner (Undyne) doesn't find his brother and probably violently force him to go back to somewhere he hates.

Kanako is alive! A bit neglected (not harshly but just a very emotionally distant from her mother) and besties with selectively mute Clover. She finds the creepy music teacher (Dalv, creepy in that he looks like he'd probably eat you) more like a parental figure than her mom.

I'll post art and more info later if I think of more. I love this so much.

Jokes aside! This is mostly just a HCs for gay stuff! Interactions are uncanon but the headcanons (canoncanons??) are. Including our favorite feisty five, my favorite rare pair (Startapper. I like to think the UFO version would be called Astraltango. Orion's design here is just a concept though), and Trsans the skeleton.

Hey, Starlo, don't worry. Not everyone is an expert at something the first time. And they end up going through embarrassing and silly moments learning how to do something. You using your gun for the first time is no different.

Just the angst potential with them and UFO!Starlo.. he would be so upset if he knew he wasn't 'entertaining' enough to be stayed with. I'm partly tempted to draw his thought process on that and the probable meltdown and lashing out after. AKA him probably challenging OG Starlo to a deadly duel to 'fight' for the Reader out of resentment and a desire to hold power over people he perceives as better than him. And him probably beating the hell out of OG Starlo who doesn't take this as a serious threat at first. (Which means him using his beloved rifle as a bat after he runs out of bullets. Bro's really mad. Someone has to like. Scruff him and carry him away so he can chill for a while.)

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!!!

Happy pride everyone!! I tried to draw Reader's UFO fit so I could try and figure out how to draw them in my style. Unfortunately, the sketch turned out to be so damn gay that the longer I drew the more homophobic I felt (/JOKE THIS IS A JOKE). And yeah, I had to put Showdown into this, because of course I had to!

Anyways, I head canon UFO! Starlo to be somewhere on the Aro-spec, because I love projecting parts of myself into characters I like. So technically, this still counts as Pride art. Does this make Showdown a romantic ship? I have no idea. They are neither romantic nor platonic but like, a secret third thing. (Rivals). But whatever the case is, they're both queer and gay for each other to me, so!! Yippee!!

OFFICIAL UFO READER REF SHEET!!! (Comissioned)

HELLO PEOPLE OF THE WORLD!!!! I've commissioned a lovely IRL friend of mine to make a reference for Undertale my self insert!! Specifically, their design for an Undertale Yellow au (Underfell Obsessions).

(To get the basics out of the way, they're essentially supposed to be the embodiment of a literal Reader Insert! They're a sort of god-like/eldritch creature that took interest in the UTMV and decided to make a vessel so they could interact with its inhabitants. Reader is very benevolent, appearing and reappearing in several AUs to offer help with problems (no matter how big or small). However, because of their insert nature, they have a sort of... Uncanny valley vibe about them. Something about them is unsettling to others. Like they don't belong in their realm of existance somehow. Despite this, Reader does their best to help, even if they're a bit ominous while doing so!)

Anyways, for their lore in UFO:

Reader is currently VERY interested in Starlo from UTY. They travel some AUS before eventually settling in Underfell Obsessions (pre-Clover). Of course, they head directly to the Wild East, where they hear that some no-good outlaws are causing trouble. Well, that won't do!

So, Reader does what they can to help out the citizens of the Wild East in small, random ways, and eventually word gets out to the Feisty Five. Starlo and his posse eventually locate Reader, and he's overjoyed to see that they're a "human". Reader, in return, is also overjoyed to see a new version of Starlo. A scuffle ensues, and Reader escapes and disappears like usual.

However, they come back!! And with a brand-new outfit as well!! Reader declares that they are now 'Stargazer', the wandering vigilante, and will do what they can to help the citizens of the Town from the Feisty Five. This leads to a rivalry between them and the bandits, but mainly between Shooting Star, the fearsome leader.

Of course, Reader doesn't really put much effort into defeating the Feisty Five. Why stop the fun, after all? But they still hold true to their word and help out the citizens when they can. Shooting Star is the main person they are most interested in, and has the most interactions with. It's a hero vs villain rivalry for the ages! And Reader is happy to feed into Starlo's obsession with having someone stand up to him, while their own interest is satiated by his mere presence and interactions.

Yes, it is toxic. Yes, it is doomed. Reader can't just stay forever, after all, that would get boring! When that eventually happens, they'll just leave the AU and return back to UTY, to their original Starlo. Surely this will have no consequences whatsoever!!!

SOME NOTES ABOUT THEIR DESIGN BCS IT'S SUPER SILLY

I wanted to base them off of Stargazer Lilies, because... Heh... 'Shooting Star' and 'Stargazer'. Their persona names are paralleling each other... Gayasses....

This made their color pallete VERY pink, and I joked that they looked like a barbie doll, and now I can't get that image out of my head. THEY'RE SO FRUITY LOOKING HELP.

Their outfit is impractical/costumey because, well... They're basically just faking it! After all, to them, it's all for fun and games. While they do care about others, they just can't take them seriously, because at the end of the day, they're just characters. (this doesn't end well for Starlo, who took their relationship VERY seriously)

Reader normally has transparent skin + Y/N markings on their face, but you can't really see the transparent effect when exported, so I added it in myself!! I still think they look cool either way :]] huge thanks to my friend who drew them for me!!!

I think they were supposed to have an icon on their belt that was a Stargazer lily + lasso (you can see it in the ref), but it never came to be for the sake of simplicity. However, I'm gonna repurpose it so that Reader uses that icon as a call-sign! They spray paint it over things to annoy the Feisty Five, or leave it as cards to gift baskets/food so that people can know who it's from (and that it's safe to take)

Fun fact, when my friend was sending me progress update pics of the sheet, I kept on saying "god they look so stupid I HATE THEM"(/positive /affectionate) and my friend went "lmao starlo coded" AND YKNOW WHAT. THEY'RE RIGHT.

Anyways, that's all I gotta say!! Thank you SO MUCH to my IRL friend who did this for me!! Now that Reader has an official outfit for UFO, I'm gonna draw soooo much Showdown art. I hate them so much (lie).

Also, shoutout to Mimey for creating such a fun AU!! I am ur number 1 UFO Starlo fan... I love him...

So took a break from sketching Starlo's comic (these panels are hard.. turns out Ceroba's face is hard to draw haha..) and decided to try my hand at something.. You know that Zenith Starlo that has gone around? (the one made by here1snyan)

Well. I Zenithed my Starlo. If you want, I added a rambling explanation below for why he looks like this if you'd like to read. Hope you enjoy!

So. Zenith forms, or forms induced by injecting pure determination(?) into a monster, is typically shown in canon as a last hurrah. Monsters usually take a much bigger, more heroic (or at least, more powerful) form of themselves. My headcanon is that determination strengthens the hope in a monster's soul.

However. Monsters from my UFO au do not have hope as a soul trait. That have obsession. And determination makes that obsession strong enough to affect the physical form of the monster. Starlo's obsession for power and his hyperfixation of western villains into a monstrosity of corruption and resentment and envy and pride. If he lives his encounter with Clover, the Wild East would be ruled with little mercy (that is, assuming, it doesn't wear off unless the user is attacked enough). (I associate obsession with eyes too, so I feel like most zenithed monsters would have a few extra eyes for the Vibes(TM).)

And for my dear reblogger pal Aster, I feel like UFO!Zenith Starlo would absolutely be a type to hop from AU to AU to exert power over the populace in an Error sort of way if he's ever given the chance (he'd so attempt to work with the bad sanses haha..). But without the goal of destruction, just trying to usurp (or at worst, shoot) the Starlos (and pretty much anyone else) happier than him (so. Everyone.). Essentially he's UFO Starlo if he lost all of his redeeming traits and I love him.

(BTW BEFORE I FORGET he is so Scylla from Epic the Musical.. the song, I mean..)
