i tried artfight this year but i only managed to get 1 attack done bc i can't multitask art i'm so sad i couldn't draw so many cool ocs

honestly it sucks since i wanted to be productive but this month has felt like my least in a while. i'm not even busy i'm just too fucking lazy to focus on multiple pieces despite the fact i have to do multiple pieces for project things. it kinda eats at my brain since i have to plan out each piece well, which isn't hard, but i get so i get worried i'll spend too much tine refining a bad sketch and delete it over and over and/or end up not doing shit -_- i acc wanted to apply to 2 zines but one is for a live action show (i can barely draw the main character) and the other's schedule kinda conflicts w/ my timeline

i've been sketching unfamiliar subjects a lot recently (cartoons, live action characters) which of course looks worse compared to my my usual art, maybe that's whats demotivating me? or maybe af+projects made me realize how bad my procrastinating rly is...at least i tried artfight and drew a 30ish year old man this month so i'd say i'm proud just gotta think less and draw more and delete/don't post it if i don't like it

i ended up getting weirdly inspired by getting jumpscared by rbs of my own art. it felt so embarrassing, but it reminded me there are, like, at least 5 ppl who like my art. all this stress over zines made me realize there are talented people who actually want me to draw art for them bc they think my shit is appealing. it's insane and i really should be grateful, now i feel silly for getting caught up in negativity
