ƬΛƬΛ 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆: "Where convenience meets excellence"
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I knew from the start that this course would be both fun and scary. It's like sailing through uncharted waters, where every wave presents a new challenge and every decision steers the course. My personal journey with TaTa, a delivery service around our campus community, makes this sentiment perfectly. From inception to presenting successfully, the path was laden with obstacles, setbacks, but also unexpected discoveries and invaluable lessons in entrepreneurship and frienship.
The Biggest Challenge
The initial challenge creating TaTa was establishing a reliable and efficient delivery network on campus - connectivity issues. After validating and asking from our potential customers, we opted to have our application to full online because it better serve the needs of our target market and their demands.
Overcoming Obstacles
To overcome these challenges, we adopted a cliche but systematic approach such as research and planning, building partnerships (i.e. programmers to lessen the cost of application development & maintenance), and technology integration.
However, despite the planning and hardworks, setbacks were inevitable. Each of them served as a learning opportunity, ensuring process adjustments and reinforcing adaptability's importance in this dynamic market.
Going through the challenges of my TaTa journey makes me discover unexpected skills within me. I discovered a knack for problem-solving under pressure and the ability to negotiate effectively with stakeholders, as well as for public speaking because I did the business pitching for our final task.
Lessons Learned
Through TaTa, I gleaned profound insights into entrepreneurship such as resilience and adaptability, customer-centric approach, and continuous learning.
Above all, my TaTa journey taught me about myself as an entrepreneur. It enlighten my passion for innovation and my determination to turn challenges into opportunities, taking advantage of what I currently have while feet on the ground. I discovered the joy of creating something meaningful and impactful, serving not just for the sake of profit, but for the community.
In conclusion, the journey with TaTa has been transformative, shaping and enriching my mind and understanding of business dynamics. I am eager to embrace future challenges with newfound confidence and resilience, knowing that each obstacle is a stepping stone toward greater success.
A BIG THANK YOU TO:

Honestly, last week was more on improving and having a lot of meetings regarding our prototype. We had potential customer interviews and had the opportunity to know their suggestions regarding the probability of having a delivery service around the campus.
One potential customer said:

One major decision we made for our start up business was to shift our application to a full online setup from hybrid offline & online because it would better meet the needs and preferences of our users, such as Ms. Princess. We, the owners, believed that the online version would much enhance user experience by providing up to date access to data of their orders and other necessary information anytime, anywhere.
In conclusion, I personally learned last week the importance of aligning our product offerings with our users' dynamic preferences and needs. This experience has made me and my team realize that there is significance in continuous innovation to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a competitive edge in the potential market.

|| EXPLORE . EXPLAIN . EXCEED ||
First of all, we successfully defended our venture proposal. At TaTa Delivery Services, our mission is to integrate convenience and excellence into the daily lives of our campus community. Through the insightful potential customers and adviser, we continuously refine our strategies to better meet the evolving needs of our target market. One of it is to partner with the programmers to lessen our burden in the application development and maintenance costs.
Another insightful visit was to the Pacangan Musuan, Motorista Drivers Association (PMMDA). We found out that their daily income is only Php 300 net of tax (but excluding gas costs or food expenses). This is why many drivers were indeed interested in such venture like ours. From experiencing above minimum wage income before, the Central Mindanao University prohibited motorelas or habal-habal primarily due to safety concerns and regulatory issues outlined in legislative measures such as House Bill 3077, Republic Act 4136 (Land Transportation and Traffic Code), and Republic Act 10913 (Anti-Distracted Driving Act). This outcome validated our decision to invest resources in pursuing the venture, fostering a mutually beneficial relationship.
Overall, these experiences have taught me (personally) the importance of VALIDATION to meet the specific needs of different customer segments. By listening and observing attentively to their feedback and analyzing their behaviors, we can make informed decisions that not only drive the potential business growth but also strengthen customer loyalty in the future (if we decide to pursue it outside the subject requirement). As students, we should aim for the betterment and sustainability, not just for temporary things.

"What's the use of this? I mean, do I really need to learn about this?"
Every individual needs to learn about the risk and uncertainty, Not just in business, but in the totality of life. It seems to be sounding as cliche But it is not as easy as it seems.
Not only we are capable of bringing ideas from inception to fruition, But we get to learn and innovate With our little and soft brain, Bringing practicality and creativity into reality.
Time after time, We get to see the beauty and purpose of life. Entrepreneurship is a must, To keep going in this dynamic world.
Reality, the harshest thing in life, Failures are always there, putting doubts unrested. But every setback is a lesson, For growth and learning, we’re indeed endlessly blessed.
Entrepreneurial quest, I seek to find, Looking back from the past, I must say, it was all worthwhile For continuous contribution to progress.
Pursuit of opportunities, Seeking solutions to the problems, Creating new paths in the business world, How could I ever belittle this word?
Renewing my mindset, And understanding communities and their needs. Prioritizing not just the mere gain, But also the sustainability and social responsibility.
Encompassing a mindset of lifelong learning, Not being content with what is currently there. But also remember to remain both feet on the ground, Meaning to be humble and realistic.
Nurturing my immature mind, As I learned about the misconceptions, Of the concepts I often heard, Especially when I studied business even way before junior high.
So, as I journey through this course, I will treat every knowledge As a chance to become a better person, For myself and the community.
Honing my skills, daring to dream. Chasing visions, no matter how extreme. Entrepreneurship, I know you have a lot to share, But I ensure that I will bear.
Irradiating my lacking and weaknesses, Reshaping my narrow mind of the world. With a little courage & persistence, I know there will somehow be a breakthrough.
Push forward, And create the life you want to unfold. In every era of life, in every maze we take, We should continuously redefine as we risk & make.
Finally, I'm Trina, ready for you, ENTREPRENEURSHIP!
