Someone in @brightlineeating #BrightLifers posted this in a comment and I love it. I am absorbing this today as I go in for another round of steroid injections. It’s very frustrating that I’ve lost 100 lbs and I’m still in constant pain. But I didn’t come this far to only come this far. My insurance deductible for the year is met. We are going to fix this!

Today’s morning drive was yet another Slayer (Seasons in the Abyss) - Metallica sandwich with Anthrax (Be All End All) filling.

The thing that sucks about heavy metal is... a 30 minute drive home only gets you 3 songs: Slayer- Expendable Youth, Mastodon- Ember City, & Metallica- And Justice for All. I’m going to have to work in some 57 second punk songs.

I am currently trying to tear through Stephen King’s Dark Tower series. I realized a few books in that I feel a sense of obligation towards this series. I used to read a lot of SK and had only read the first book. He is a master, so I feel a sense of duty as a book lover. I’m curious if anyone has had similar experiences.

I just realized I forgot to post on the first of the month. I must say I’m impressed with myself for keeping up with this for so long. #BrightLineEating is my lifestyle. It’s not a diet. It’s not for everyone who needs it, but it’s for everyone who wants it. Sometime next year I’ll transition to maintenance and there won’t be any more pounds to lose. That will be an interesting shift in my identity. I’m going to stay tuned in and see what happens next. @brightlineeating #myBLEjourney
