I think some people forget that some literature and some media is meant to be deeply uncomfortable and unsettling. It's meant to make you have a very visceral reaction to it. If you genuinely can't handle these stories then you are under no obligation to consume them but acting as if they have no purpose or as if people don't have a right to tell these stories, stories that often relate to the darkest or most disturbing parts of life, then you should do some introspection.

Hot take; I shouldn’t have to be terrified to read / like posts. I should have to read the tags to make sure it’s not posted by an endo trying to infiltrate our spaces. I shouldn’t have to fear that the thing I’m gonna read is going to send me into a spiral because it’s gonna be some stupid ass shit about how “traumagenic systems are losers” or whatever the other stuff endos say about us is.

PROGRAMMING VS TBMC VS CONDITIONING

TW talks of TBMC and programming so one thing i see a lot of confusion about is the difference between programming, TBMC, and conditioning, i hope this post will help clarify the difference between these conditioning is the act of getting someone accustomed to something or to behave in a specific way, this can be done accidentally or intentionally, and it can be positive or negative. this is not always done through abuse and is not always premeditated, this also does not have to be done by a group of people. an example would be if someone is rewarded every time they do a specific action, they will associate that action with getting a reward and be more likely to do it TBMC is the act of intentionally implementing cues (intentionally implemented triggers) into someone to get them to think or behave in specific ways, this is always done intentionally and is negative in nature. this is always done through abuse and is premeditated. an example would be if someone is abused while exposed to a specific phrase and forced to do a specific action, they will associate that phrase with that action and then the phrase will trigger the action to where the obvious abuse is no longer needed to cause the action programming is the act of intentionally creating dissociated states in an individual using TBMC, this is always premeditated and done intentionally. it is always done negatively, and it has to be done by a group due to the organized nature, there need to be multiple people to reinforce the cues. these states will be used as "blank slates" to instill TBMC responses into and get to behave in certain ways, there may be certain cues that are intended to bring out specific states (alters). not all programmers know they are causing DIDOSDD, they just recognize dissociative responses and use these for their own benefit - grey

-fundy trying to rig the election by casting a ton of illegal votes

-tommy getting struck by lighting on doomsday (wouldn’t take a life but would leave lighting scars)

-tommy getting stuck in the hole while living in pogtopia

-conner being in the prison when techno breaks dream out and tagging along during the escape

-techno mocking dream about not having a house while tommy is hiding and gaslighting dream about the signs in his basement

-misspelled signs (but would prob be used to drive home how young many of the characters still are)

-XD stumbling upon Foolishs original (ugly) statue of him lol

-the failed attempted trapping and drowning of technoblade by fundy and co

-techno getting distracted by l’dog while wilbur tries to have a serious convo with him
