Trigun Fanfic Appreciation

This is a blog aimed at showing some love to the fic authors in fandom and allowing people to more easily find recommendations for new fic to read! I run events from time to time, which will be announced 1-2 weeks in advance in most cases. All fanfic is welcome, just be sure to add warnings/tags when needed. I tag for ships when applicable on here so people can sort by what they'd like to find at any given moment. Zazie/Knives:

No Archive Warnings, but the warning that it is both Knives and Zazie. My favorite way to describe this fic is “a comically biblical plague worth of bugs brings a (fallen) angel of the lord to climax.” Knives explodes! Semi-Literally, even! Some fun Plant and Worm lore/shenanigans, mostly me going “how weird can I get with this?”

Elendira/Razlo//Elendira/Livio

All my Elendira/LR Fics are post-Trimax currently, in an AU where Elendira lives and goes through some serious recovery from her fight with LR. They all get Attached

Features: Razlo being shy and blushy and angy about it because Elendira’s kick ass and he wants to smooch her and for her to kiss him again. I compare Razlo to a sunflower at one point.

Millions Knives/Domina

-leans very close into the microphone- I am unwell about these two. I want her to Wreck Knives. I accidentally created the tag on AO3, and please please please enjoy the fics I write about them. My mainline fics for them have them sharing a body but I do currently have something in the works that’s a little different.

Generally, fics for dominaknives include some fun and sometimes weird, exploratory Plant Stuff.

They’re all post-Trimax, by default, really, and Domina lives, with some caveats of course. The grief is baked in, it’s Trigun.

They have an emotional support alien terrorbird. I gotta include that bird more

Wolfwood knocks the hand he reaches out away before it can get any closer. "Stop it," he growls, so vehemently he feels the spittle flying from his aching mouth. "Get the fuck away, all right?" "No." Vash shakes his head, his gaze on Wolfwood all the while. "And if you wanted that to hurt me, you'll have to try harder, I'm afraid. Not like I feel it when you slap the prosthesis away." In the aftermath of a dental injury, Wolfwood deals poorly with the pain, struggling to accept Vash's offer of help and comfort. (Vashwood Week 2024, Day Two: Protection / Trust) detailed content warnings are in the fic notes but be aware this fic deals heavily with past medical trauma, dissociation, and PTSD.

Me again, Vashwood nation! For Day Two of @vashwood-week, I... well, I recently had two wisdom teeth removed at the end of a years-long ordeal and I... did some things to Wolfwood. I'm sorry. I feel really bad about it.

It isn't that he doesn't know Wolfwood has it in him. He'd grasped quickly enough that whatever their differences, Wolfwood's heart was… he wouldn't exactly call it in the right place, but it was at least not as far gone as the other man seemed to think. It's Wolfwood being so good with kids that throws him. At a busy inn, a bewildered Vash gets a glimpse of a different side of Wolfwood as he entertains the harried innkeeper's child. Hello hello, Vashwood nation! My fic for Day One of @vashwood-week is up and I would so appreciate folks checking it out if they're so inclined! Featuring Wolfwood being great with kids and Vash being absolutely fascinated by this, really having a "hope this doesn't awaken anything in me" moment.
