ACT II : Endless Eclipse

When a story have reach its end, a new one shall begin and even when the light shines, darkness will always remain in the form of shadows, haunting the souls of living with the gloomy memories of the past. Years have passed since the wrathful tides that sunk most of Alterra into the deep sea, the remaining humans and dwarf have began to rebuild their civilization, establishing their own kingdom free from the Empress and the Elven who once their allies.

In the Ruins of Cinders, the human thrive and manage to rebuild their kingdom of Embers, the Luminous Empire of SeerFire. The kingdom was ruled by a generous king and righteous Queen, Adamnt and Amelia Fireheart. Although life have seems to healed from the old chaos, darkness will always finds a way to covered the light. One day Queen Amelia gave birth to 3 twins. Adler the oldest and the most ambitious among the siblings, Adman the wise and slightly younger than Adler, and youngest but the sweetest, Aurelie the naive. The twins were the most precious and beloved treasure of the Kingdom as the King and Queen threated them with life even more luxurious than themselves.

However despite the life of luxury they have, not all siblings were happy with what they have own, Adler deeply seek the throne of the Kingdom however his arrogant and stubborn made him such a poor candidate that the King and Queen choose Adman to be the next ruler of Seerfire. It is not long before the choice sparks the darkness, the same illness that destroy the old kingdom, the greed of humanity. After the king and queen’s passing, a conflict merge in the royal table as the twin fought for the throne, Adler who are driven by his lust for power and Adman who wish to follow the hope of his parents. A war between the royal family soon torned the kingdom into a bloody civil war. In the end Adman with the support of several Seerfire royal family were victorious however Adman couldn’t dare to take the life of his own brother and so the war end with a treaty between the brothers that soon known as the SplitFire Covenant where they divide Seerfire into 2 separate kingdom, the Admanian Empire of Atlas and the FrozenBolt of Whitemore.

from the chaos of her older brothers, Aurelie fled the kingdom by Adman’s order for her own safety, who follow her are a group of Scholars who calls themselves as Feather of Endless and her personal guard, Grandmaster Edward Blackburn. However their ship were sunk after it was hit by a great thunderstorm as they tried to reach the Island of Everon. Aurelie her companions soon find themselves in the ruins of Aurelle, an ancient dwarven capital that was expected to be devour by the tides long ago.

As they explore the island for shelter, they discover hidden beneath the stone walls, a strange powerful material from unknown time, it appears to be none other than Dragonstone in a alternate state in which the stones have absorbed a large amount of pyromancy magic, Flaming star as Edward calls it. At first they were afraid to get near because the fear of being roasted alive by such heat, however this soon changed as they see animals roaming around the room with the Stone. Despite having no source of food and possibly were left by the dwarf during the wrathful tides, the animals appears to be “alive” or rather Immortal state despite their body have already shown sign of rotting.

This discovery brings some question and possibilities as the Scholars requested to study the stone under Edward’s eyes for answer, Feather of Endless are quite known for their study as they wish to achieve the life of immortality and this brought the interest of Aurelie to join the scholars. Their thoughts were correct as it appears that the stone have a unique effects for those who are exposed by the flames. However similar to the animals, the longer someone become exposed, the more they become corrupted as if the stone were also harvesting their life.

Knowing very well of the danger of magical artifacts, Edward tried to warn Aurelie and the scholars but unfortunately they are no longer themselves and mindlessly attacked as if they have been taken by something. Edward was killed by his own men and from his brain they feast while his blood were turned into a fountain where they clear their rotten throat. All in the excuse of gaining the knowledge for a greater Immortality that the flame whispered to them, however only curse and illness they brought. Years after the separation of Seerfire, suspicion began to rise as there are no words were heard from Aurelie as Admen along with his most trusted men set sails to find the princess, unaware of the curse that has been awaken.

After years of desperate hope Adman and his men finally landed on the same island where Aurelie and Edward stranded however this time, the island have completely have turned into a cryptic and hollowed Abyss themed with strange and terrifying creatures that are attracted by the fresh human blood. As the group fight their way through the hostile creatures, the found Aurelie, now only a mindless walking flesh and bones along side the scholars as they drink from the fountain of blood with the flaming star above the fountain, now covered in a mysterious black flame.

Heartbroken and filled with rage, the king and his men charge through the Undead group and ultimately putting an end to his sister’s suffering. However their quest isn’t over yet as the beast of the island were summoned by the flaming star as it felt the threat of Adman and his men. In his last attempt to avenge his sister, Adman uses all of his strength and magic to harvest the power of the star, as the flame devour his soul he manage to hold the chaos within and in exchange not only he receive immortality but also become somewhat of a god with the power of flame and light.

With his might, he blessed his men with the power of the flame to become the knights of divine. Together, the power of light once again surpassed the influence of darkness as the knights banished the abyssal beast from the island. However by letting his soul to be devoured in order to contain the chaos, Adman and his men have lost the memories of the human they used to be. They Were later known as Cahya, the god of light and his might sentinels as they continue to watch over the land of Aayat from the Abyssal influence of Fell.

ACT I : Tides of Time

◈ ⊱ ──── {⋅. ◈ .⋅} ──── ⊰ ◈ In a different place, at a different time lies Alterra, a land filled with uncertainty. For millennial Alterra have been written and documented by the Scholars of Ember however many of its rich histories are still hidden in the mist of mystery. In the beginning, Alterra is described as land of diversity, divided into 3 regions filled with its own beauty, first there’s the Land of Cinders, A region filled with the warmth and serenity of summer. where the clear blue sky and bright green grass stretch as far as the eye can see. It is inhabited and ruled by the first human civilization. It is also the birthplace for Scholars of Ember, a wizard association that was formed to expand their study in magic

The Second region known as Aurelle Arise. It is ruled by the ancient Dwarven Empire lead by none other than King A’zur Aurelle. The land that once filled with life, dense forest and beautiful waterfalls  were burned and turned into the mining colonies by the King’s order after the discovery of a powerful material known as the Dragonstone. Despite the dwarf disapproval to magic, the Dragonstone were used as energy source for most of the dwarven machine. The used of magical materials in machines and weapon then leads to the creation of Maguscience, a mixed of science and magic study alike.

Lastly there’s the Land of Arad. A land filled with undescribeable beauty. It is also known for its reach ores and spices supplies in all Alterra. It is not defenseless however as just like the name suggest, the land are guarded by an ancient powerful dragon known as the Great Overlord as many believe this being have lived even longer than the world itself. Avakiir was his name and he is commonly refer to as the Father of all Dragons. The inhabitant of 3 regions once lived in peace but one day, when the cold breeze of winter covered the land with snow, a war broke loose between the Humans and the Dwarves as they tried to conquer the Land of Cinder in order to not just expand their great empire but also in search for more supplies of Dragonstone.

The war lasted for many decades with the human manage to hold on with strong resistance, destroying many of the dwarf machines. Countless innocent life were lost and in the end, the Overlord stepped in order to put a stop to the deaths. Avakiir release his great might that brings fear for any mortal who witness. It took most of his strength for the bloody war to end between the 2 races and still there is always fear that one day, another destruction might be unleashed and destroyed this beautiful world. Therefore in the end Avakiir use all of his remaining strength to create Ka’viin and She’laa  as his most loyal subject that the Overlord trust to carried the legacy of peace he has formed for Alterra.

Ka’viin was gifted with the might and firmness of the great Overlord, he shall be an excellent emperor that will bring justice and right for the people while She’aa, his better half was gifted the kindness and mercy of Avakiir shall be the empress that will stand by Ka’viin side and be the heart of Alterra. Together, the pair created the Elven race as their royal subject to help and protect the land of Arads but unfortunately they underestimate their true enemy, greed as just the death of the Overlord has spread, a war once again broke lose as King Aurelle believed that the dwarf should be the true ruler of Alterra. This act of greed sparks anger within Ka’viin’s heart as he then use his might to unleashed his wrath on the mortals. Massive waves began to devour the land, destroying everything and sunk it into the depth of the sea.

The empress was left heartbroken by the chaos, not only she couldn’t protect her people, but she also couldn’t save her love from hatred as in the end, she realize that there is only one thing that must be done. Using the Dragonstone, she forged a powerful sword known as the God’s Bane. The stone are known to have such powerful capabilities involving absorbing magic and souls alike. The empress march alone to confront her love, trying once again to change his mind but unfortunately he has too deep to see the light and after a great battle, the empress were victorious as she manage to trapped the soul of the emperor within the sword. Knowing the danger that it can cause, the empress proceed to hide the sword from mortals reach, far beneath the ground and seal it with magic where no one dare to seek.

Alterra was devastated after the catastrophic as it made the united land to scatter and began to form their own kingdom. Admani, Whitemore, Vas, Fell, and Aayat. Meanwhile there are some who are still faithful for the empress and so from the ruined of the old kingdom they formed a new one and called it… Everon. ◈ ⊱ ──── {⋅. ◈ .⋅} ──── ⊰ ◈
