So not only did the animation go down and the story is rushed (complete with cutting out parts that add depth to what is happening) but it's also OUT OF ORDER.

Most notably is the fact that in episode 2, they state that they've stopped cremating bodies and are now burying them. Yet in episode 3, they cremate Shuichi's mother....something that was supposed to happen before.

They also cut the explanation that Kirie's father is getting clay from the pond or the fact that she sees/hears the twisted pottery first (complete with trying to ignore the voices coming from the kiln).

I've gone from sad/disappointed to just plain mad. I waited 5 years to see my favorite horror manga be reduced to this! I know that the people working on it got screwed over but was that only about the quality of the animation? Did that also effect the story flow and episode count or was it always written to be this way; with only 4 episodes in mind?

Just why bother making this at all?
