Headcannon that Ponyboy’s earliest memory is with Two-bit.
Darry knew two-bit before Pony was born, so Pony has known two his entire life because of that. And the memory isn’t anything super significant, just something like Two-bit handing a four year old Pony a popsicle on a summer day and ruffling his hair.
