Anyway, to be fair, Turning Red seems curated for the 90's kids... The year is 2002 and the heroine is on the cusp of puberty: there's tamagotchis, a boysband, teen vampire novels, sick outfits featuring denim and funky hairpins? Who are they trying to fool? This movie wasn't done for kids, it was created for the 30 year olds around the world...

And I 100% endorse it... If I ever have kids I will make them watch it and I will say "See children? Priya was mama on her teens, cool uh?"
