Another one of my swatches applyed to the drawing dummy, this swatch was made with a stiff fabric and then stuffed pockets of it with felt and tied it into bubbles, and i then splashed some blue watered down acrylic paint to make it have to same colour scheme as my object.

The object i chose has little to no texture in it, therefore i must make texture using other components of the object.
i did this by taking the circular shape of my object to create a bubbly effect in the fabric by stuffing it with felt and then tying around it. Multiple bubbles then began to create texture for me.

My all time fashion icon, Iris apfel, who combines both main themes of my object.
1) The fact that it is the necklace of my granny who was an older woman
2) She is a jewellery enthusiast and queen of layering and styling

Finished picture of my Bishops hat headpiece I made in the sculpture workshop I made this piece using Perspex and aluminium strips connecting them altogether with pop rivets. I then added a strip or fabric around the headband as the pop rivets made it uncomfortable to wear.

My take on religious pop culture.
Made using a photocopied version of mary and jesus and the last supper, i then melted wax, doodled and collage them with images i found in the cosmopolitan magazine.

St Brigids cross i made with an old newspaper, i like how this is so different and plain in comparison to the other cross i made from the neon straws.

D-CON MARY: sculpture of the virgin Mary made out of fibre glass covered in the packaging of rat poison. Its 5 foot tall, and made Jason Clay lewis.
i really like this piece i think it has a pop culture feel to it due to its bright yellow colour, but at the same time it has a sinister type of twist to it due to the nature of the packaging.

Photos taken of a large st Brigids cross i made with neon straws.
I shone a light from behind the cross to make the neon colours of the cross pop and become very vivid! i was very happy with how this turned out.

3D wired section of a rosary beads i made with beads that are recycled from paper. by used these beads they show that the objects do not need to be embellished with gold and jewels.. taking away the churches wealth.
i think how these beads do not have the flow as real rosary beads but are structured and rigid.
