So guys, i’ve just got back from a great 5* weekend break in London, staying at the brand new Hilton Bankside. But how did I manage to get this over £200 a night stay for just £45? 

Simple, with Hotels.com they run a loyalty scheme, whereby if you stay for 10 nights you’ll get your 10th free. And it really is that simple. The reason I had to pay a small difference with this hotel was because they work out an average of your hotel stays and that’s the value of hotel credit which you get to redeem. As the Hilton was quite expensive (over £200) I just had to pay the difference.
