#tbt to getting my second tattoo in Jan/Feb. The first symbol I got is called an unalome which represents ones life path towards enlightenment. I added the lotus flower because 1. It's beautiful and 2. Lotus flowers grow in really dark and muddy places, and it serves as a reminder that no matter how dark and muddy life gets something beautiful can come out of it. Both parts were done by a bamboo needle! 💜
