If Marvel is humans becoming gods, DC is gods becoming human. And this is that done right. This reminded me of what’s wonderful about DC and why its characters are still timeless. When done correctly, it blends myth with reality, the ordinary with the extraordinary, mortal with immortal. It’s the closest we have to current Greek mythology. It’s honest. It’s powerful. It lasts forever. This is the movie that made me remember why I love DC in the first place.

Tbh I don’t get all the Martha hate because she had a crush on Ten. Like excuse me? Don’t act like you wouldn’t too!?????? Ten is fineeee and my gay ass will happily flirt with him as a companion, and i bet all you fangirls would do the same! Martha is so relatable™ when it comes to unrequited love, she got jealous, felt insecure in what role she played with The Doctor, she felt lost in the shadow that was Rose Tyler. And in the end, she figured out “a guy doesn’t love me back? Then that’s fine, that doesn’t change my worth as a person!” And she walked away with “I spent all that time with you thinking I was a second best, but you know what? I am good!” I !!! Am!!!! Good !!!!
